I went to the restaurant alone. Told them in advance that I was celebrating my birthday. Thu made me feel so welcomed. All the waiters told me happy birthday and showered me with awesome complements. They didn't make me feel weird because I was eating alone. I had at least 4 severs during my time there. Since it was my birthday, my dessert was free. The banana foster dessert was prepared in front of me. What a wonderful way to celebrate my 31st bday. Right there in a hot bed of seafood is the best filet mignon I have ever had. Seagar's is an extremely classy restaurant with a quiet extemely relaxing atmosphere. In the background you will hear the music from a live piano player.You never feel rushed . Dining area is very spacious, meaning not sitting in your neighbor's lap or listening to someone's conversation or they yours. It's a steak house first and seafood second. Shared appetizer of shrimp and crab was very fresh along with the two accompanying sauces. My husband chose a bone end filet --- grilled to perfection. My halibut with freshly made pasta was excellent! Had one-half of a side (creamed spinach) which was plenty. Wait staff was most helpful; wine list nice; dessert choices were not innovative, but we did take a "to go" of cheese cake. Our waiter, Andrew, was incredible! I wish I could say the same for the sommelier. He was quite rude and belittled us for ordering a $70 bottle of wine. He made comments about other people coming in that night ordering expensive bottles. Those people don't pertain to us so I would recommend that he keeps that to himself and engages us about our purchase.
