Seagar’s offers a complete fine dining experience, including captain service, tableside preparation of items such as Steak Diane, Dover Sole and Bananas Foster, as well as an intimate lounge, featuring music from our grand piano. Dress code is Sophisticated Casual. Gentlemen are asked to wear collared shirts and long pants.
No T-Shirts, Athletic Wear or Hats. Dress Jeans are permitted.

  • "Definitely a high-end steak house. There were four of us celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and everything throughout the evening was absolutely top notch. The service was outstanding, the food delicious (including impeccable steaks). Talk about a great wine list, covers all tastes and includes reasonably priced bottles. We ended up choosing a Spanish wine unknown to us that turned out fantastic. The chocolate soufflé is to die for. It's not an inexpensive restaurant, but absolutely worth it!"

He is more familiar with the culinary world than myself. He really appreciates good food and wanted us to go somewhere "5 star" for Valentines weekend. It really was a great experience for us! The table was wonderful, the appetizer (I cant remember what it was called) was so amazing! I LOVE wine and will have to return so I can experience the wine list. The food was just wonderful and the service was so special. A place like this should be "experienced". We thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!"

Thank you for making it a night we will not forget. . .it means so much to us. Our 30th, it was Valentines Day, & Drs tell us we need to spend quality time together now, due to my husband's last heart attack. . .well, this was quality! Thank you. I literally had tears in my eyes to see my hubby so happy."

Just a delicious cut of beef, this was more than enough for two. It came with asparagus and dutches potatoes. We then had the soufflés, this was amazing."

  • "After visiting Seagar's in the past and thoroughly enjoying it, we were very let down by our recent visit. The staff seemed disorganized and had to have the hostess/mgr tend to some of the tables needs. The food was not nearly as tasty as our last visit and to top it off they left out my wife's leftovers (one whole piece of filet mignon and her creamed spinach) in our "doggie" bag. We did not ever get the courtesy of a return phone call when we called and left a message about this. Sad to see such a nice place go down hill like this. It is not currently worth the money!"

  • "We visit Seagar's whenever we're in Destin and never disappointed. Very elegant, friendly staff and food is some of the best I've ever had at an upscale restaurant. We had steak and scallops for our entrée and both were cooked to perfection. Chocolate Souffle for dessert is well worth the 20 minutes it takes to prepare and I highly recommend to any chocolate lover."

  • "Truly a New York style steakhouse. The quality of steak and seafood is excellent and cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding using a table captain and team. Our team, Scott, Chris and Luke provided a genteel atmosphere with continuous exceptional service. The Captain, Scott chose his team well and their service made our evening. The spinach salad is the best choice, the addition the pear makes it very special. I would prefer the beet salad to contain roasted beets with perhaps goat cheese, pine nuts and a champagne vinaigrette dressing. Also the onion rings are a bit heavy, I would prefer a tempura batter. Wine selection is exceptional. A true 5 star restaurant on the Emerald Coast of Florida"

  • "I picked this restaurant to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary and it was everything we had hoped for. From the online reservation process to the greetings by the staff and all subsequent encounters with the service and wait staff, the service was without exception outstanding. There were only several other diners so other than the live piano music, noise was nearly non existent. The note pad wine list was informative and easy to use - I hadn't seen a wine list presented that way before. Service was prompt, professional, personal with the right balance of attentiveness and privacy. The menu prices were consistent with what I would expect from a world class restaurant. We look forward to our next visit."

What a great decision on my part! The experience was wonderful! From the moment we walked in we both knew this was a great choice . All and I mean all of the staff were so nice and very attentive. The food was and the mood was perfect! We are already planning another visit very soon. Thanks go Seagars for a very very nice evening."

  • "We always dine here for our special occasions, anniversaries, birthdays, and even just to have a really nice dinner and always order a bottle of wine or champagne. This particular experience was disappointing as we ordered lamb medium and it was cooked very medium rare. We had the waitress take it back requesting medium again and unfortunately it came back to the tablet yet again very medium rare. Definitely not what you would expect from this type of restaurant. Otherwise, the staff was excellent."

  • "We both had fabulous steaks here. We both opted for the fillet mignon cuts and they were both cooked to perfection. Appetizers were fois gras and shrimp martini, both excellent. We had key lime pie and the souffle for dessert and both were wonderful. Wine list comprehensive, but expensive. Its not a cheap night out but if you are going to blow the budget and want a great steak this is worth going to."

  • "Not impressed at all. To have so few customers and to have to wait such an extradinary amount of time for someone to bring water. Had to ask for the bread to be brought to the table. The person responsible for cooking one of my guests Steak Diane, did not bother to do it tableside, the waiter did it. My guest thought it was good, but even so. We are locals and if this resturant is dependant at all on repeat local business, they will never get recommendations from me.Service was slow, had to ask for bread to be brought to the table."
