Diner Reviews
  • "Unlike many other seafood establishments, you get the whole fish. My rainbow trout was excellent!"

  • "Food and decor very much like New England. Service was very good. The downside is they don't open for lunch. This is the type of restaurant that would be perfect for lunch."

  • "Seafood shack is just your average run of the mill seafood restaurant. The food on the menu looks great, however, it is somewhat disappointing when you taste it. The service was excellent, but if you're looking for great seafood, this isn't the place."

  • "I was excited to take the seafood lover in my party here the service was a bit slow compared to the other places we went but not bad the appetizers were great and boiling hot my soup I ordered was room temp as was the shrimp my friend ordered she said it had a funny after taste also I would not go back the food looked great but I want my seafood hot"

  • "The staff were very attentive and really went the extra mile. We had our 2 year old with us and it was an easy meal with a staff that obviously knew how to entertain families. I would definitely recommend Seafood shack to families. The food is good, well prepared and presented. This was a very nice experience."

  • "We stayed at Treasure Island and decided to have dinner in the hotel and Seafood Shack was a great choice. The food was good, although it was a little light on the salt. Our server was also very good but the table next to us made a huge fuss about a Groupon issue for 20 minutes, I wish the manager had come to an agreement with them faster because it was very distracting."

  • "Great place decent prices will come back next visit!"

  • "There's really not a lot of seafood restaurants on the Strip and even fewer where you can get a quality meal at a fair price, but Seafood Shack delivers. My wife and I, despite being locals in Las Vegas, will brave the traffic to visit Seafood Shack a few times a year. If you're visiting Las Vegas, craving seafood and aren't on an unlimited budget this would be my pick."

  • "You can reserve a table and the restaurant opens at 5.00 pm. Prices are reasonable and there are many varieties to choose from in the menu. Service was good and our food came in approx 15 mins upon placing our orders. We would definitely return for dinner in our next visit to Las Vegas."

  • "Great seafood! We had the Cioppino and lobster roll.....Delicious. Good Service and the chef even came to our table for a chat. We will definitely come back here!"

  • "We tried the Seafood Shack for the first time last weekend. My daughter is on a gluten free diet and found a lot of choices. We were hoping there would be a surf and turf option for my husband, but didn't see one. He was happy with the shrimp dish he selected though. Overall, we will return the next time we're in Las Vegas."

  • "We bought three groupons to the Seafood Shack before going on our Vegas trip. After buying the groupons we noticed we were limited to two per visit. Once we arrived, we explained to the hostess what we did and she said she would talk to a manager. He came back and said he would honor all three groupons. Once seated, our waiter was just great. He gave us quick courteous service, took time out to take a [great] picture of our family, served us gray tasting food and not to mention, had to put up with dealing with our three groupon vouchers. The Seafood Shack experience was a great night for our family; and that's how we'll always remember it."

  • "six of us went out to dinner had good food & lots of options on the menu to choose from. Calamari appetizer had a neat spice to it and the crab stuffed mushrooms were excellent."

  • "The salmon was divine, but the tuna needed a teriyaki or ginger glaze. It was cooked perfectly but a little bland. Otherwise, we were both extremely impressed!"

  • "In honor of my sister birthday we ate at the Seafood Shack. The food and ambience was good. Modern price for a restaurant in a casino on the strip. Nothing special from the restaurant employees in honor of my sister birthday. This could be a romantic place for some, the server and the busboy are only seen not heard. They bring the food they collect the dishes nothing more. Not even how are you doing today my name is --."

  • "It is sometimes difficult in the southwest to find seafood that is fresh and well prepared. Being from the northwest we are often disappointed when ordering seafood, but not at the Seafood Shack. The seafood was fresh and well prepared and presented."

  • "Love the place food is great and the service is the best in las vegas. Thank you so much"

  • "Excellent calamari and Crab legs at a reasonable price"
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "We ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer& the waiter brought them to us within 2-3 minutes....as if they were massed produced in the kitchen and waiting under a heat lamp. They were good. Could have been hotter."

  • "When I saw a Groupon for a Las Vegas Strip restaurant, I grabbed it. However, it was a disappointment. They have made a noble attempt at creating a maritime atmosphere, which is extremely difficult when the restaurant is tucked in between the casino and the main buffet restaurant. The groupon compensated for the amount the menu was over priced, also a disappointment. Slow service, at off peak 5:30 PM, and severe indigestion following the meal completed the disappointment. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this restaurant."

  • "We went to the bar outside Seafood Shack for happy hour and enjoyed several nice glasses of wine and chatted with the bartender who was very friendly. The restaurant doesn't open until 5pm so we enjoyed spending time there before our dinner which was at 5:30. The food was very good...served hot and with a nice presentation. Server was a little scarce, but we will go again."

  • "Really, I'm not exaggerating. The food and service was great. We ordered fish and chips and a special Cajun pasta dish with clam chowder as a starter. Everything was delish, Seasoned perfectly and served promptly. We saw several other meals served and I'd love to come back and try some of them. Blackened salmon will be our next order! We purchased a Groupon coupon for this dinner and I would recommend the restaurant-- discounted or not. Really, really good."

  • "We went to this restaurant because we like fish. They have fresh fish and all kinds of seafood. You have a choice on how they prepare it like I had Rainbow Trout and you could have it grilled or oven roasted. Their rice is different and had other items in it and their Lobster mac n cheese was great. Highly recommend it if you like fish and the atmosphere is great. We have gone back again."

  • "Used a groupon, was my first time there. I ordered clam chowder and calamari, my 2 favs! THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST CALAMARI I'VE EVER HAD!!! Our waiter was EXCELLENT too!!!"

  • "Coming from the Pacific Northwest, we have been at our share of good seafood restaurants. This ranks high among them. Our appetizer was an ahi poke -- very fresh, well spiced, someone must have spent some time in Hawaii. For entrees, we had the Cioppino and the Pan Roast. Cioppino sauce was excellent, not like the spaghetti sauce base some places cut corners on. Seafood in the cioppino was abundant and varied -- and very good. Pan roast was equally good, though including a split lobster in it put it over the top. Plenty of food, so all we could do for dessert was split the sorbet trio. Nicely done. As an extra touch, this being Valentine's Day, each couple received a long stemmed red rose. An added thought for detail that mirrored the meal!"

  • "The wife and I enjoyed Valentine's day at the Seafood Shack. We enjoyed the lobster bake for two; a lot of food! We are locals, so every once and a while its good to explore different restaurants at the casinos and we were very pleased withTreasure Island. The service was great, the music was perfect, and we had a romantic Valentine's dinner!"

  • "I made last-minute reservations on Valentine's Day and was pleasantly surprised by our whole experience! Upon arrival, we were seated immediately, (and they presented me with a rose :)) in an appealing restaurant area. I'm sure that they were trying to create extra seating, but my only complaint would be that our two-person table was really close to other couples. However, it was comfortable and the music/background noise allowed for private conversation. We were very happy with the selection on the menu (drinks & food), and enjoyed a delicious meal. The cost was very reasonable and the overall experience left us both smiling!"

  • "Over priced if we didn't have a groupon. Wouldn't have gone except that it was close to the show we were going to."

  • "This was the best dinner I've had in Vegas. Our server Genaro was very attentive and always with a smile even though we had a groupon (doesn't happen often in other places). The food was really good. I had the blackened rainbow trout, delicious! My husbad had the pasta with clams and was very pleased with it as well. We were celebrating my husband' s birthday and thry brought a slice of delicious chocolate cake. I thought it was a nice touch. We'll definitely come back when we're in town and tell everybody about it."

  • "We had no idea what the food or the experience would be like here. But it was so worth the money. All of the items we ordered were tasty & so delicious. The service was great, they treated us well. On it. We had a great experience & went back the night after, for dinner again."

  • "The food was sooo gooood! our waiter was very helpful and knew all the products we asked about. the food came very fast and the service was great. I would recommend this to anyone that like seafood."

  • "We went for dinner, and the food selection was really great, lots of different things to order, not your same old same old stuff! I had calimari and the salad niciose. The calimari was prefect, very tender, not rubber like some places do, this was the best cooked I have had! The chef knows what he is doing for sure! The salad had ahi tuna on it, melted in my mouth, served on a bed of various olives, green beans and potatoes, I love trying new unusal dishes and this did not disappoint! Everything was perfect! The service was very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back for more! The hubby had the cajun chicken pasta and he cleaned his plate! Said it was delicious, yes, I snuck a bite, I would love to have more of that too!"

  • "I had the halibut special. Fish wad kinda dry and the rice pilaf and corn chowder was soso. My hisbsnd like his grilled talapia. Loved the atmosphere. Would give this place one more shot."

  • "I wanted seafood and to get reservations on a Friday night in Las Vegas isn't the easiest. So this restaurant was available and kid friendly. The food is no more than average and overpriced for what it was. They specialize in mojitos so my mother in law and I tried one. They use way to much mint-you can't even suck the drink threw the straw."
    Dined on 1/3/2014
  • "I stood at the bar for 15mins trying to get a drink. The bartender ignored me, she walked past me several times as I stood at the bar. All other services were perfect."
