  • "This might be the best seafood restaurant in Broward County. Food is amazing. We had Hog Snapper and Sea Scallops this time. Both were prepared to perfection and the portions were decent. It is not cheap and they could use a few more pictures on the wall, but this is our go to place for a great meal. Love Ada's salad dressing. Yum. And we can walk there!"

  • "This is our second visit to SEA and not the last I hope. We brought friends, who are foodies, and they loved it. The corn chowder was delicate, light and lovely. The Dijon crusted Florida snapper was served with a wonderful sauce. The flavorings were excellent and did not overwhelm the fish, which was fresh, delicate and flavorful. I opted for the key lime pie, which was excellent. If you haven't eaten at SEA you are missing one of South Florida's best."

  • "This place is a gem. The food is wonderful, the waiters are terrific. Don't be turned off by the prix fixe menu. It's a good deal. We always feel welcome there and there are a lot of "regulars" who go there often enough to have their favorite glass of wine waiting for them at there seat upon arrival. We make a point to go there every time we are in Fort Lauderdale."

  • "It is named SEA for a reason--all seafood. I am allergic so the only option I had on this night for a entrée was a 12 oz pork chop or 12-14 oz steak. No chicken. Was told that since they were not open for lunch on that day they had no chicken available. I had a tomato mozz salad, which was OK. That left room for dessert of crème brule, which was OK"

  • "We visited on Monday for dinner based on the reviews. They were all right! The freshness and quality can not be beat. It was amazing,creative and delicious food. Great for people that want a little indulgence with quality/clean and local ingredients. We were hoping for a little more ambiance but it ended up being the perfect spot for my boyfriend to propose! The staff was wonderful, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and the food- amazing. SEA will always hold a special place in our hearts - the food and the staff were unforgettable! I recommend really anything - everything we ate was amazing - Butternut Chard., beet salad and Creme Brulee were standouts. Thanks SEA! We highly recommend you and loved our experience with you!"

  • "This restaurant was just as stated by other reviewers. Really fresh, wonderfully cooked seafood, and very reasonably priced. My meal of a nice salad, yellow tail snapper and desert was $36. I really hope this restaurant thrives and that they do two things: add a raw bar offering and a liquor license. Do that and I'm there twice a month."

  • "My husband and I can't each eat a three course meal--but that is all that is offered. You can't even take your dessert home! What's up with that? The wine list is short and not that interesting. That said, the food was good. But it might not be worth the trouble next time"

  • "Little ambiance sitting right in the middle of a strip mall. Outside seating looks at the parking lot. Service was very poor, obviously they have repeat customers and really don't care about visitors. Had to constantly ask for water , bread given to other tables, ran out of two of the fish specials by 8:30, which left 2 choices. The food was reall good, perhaps on a weekday we would have had better service, won't recommend it, I think there are so mNy more choices here that can equal Sea."

  • "Small venue with a set seafood menu. The preparation was excellent because of its simplicity. The emphasis was on the seafood, with minimum garnish. You can watch the preparation in the kitchen. It is a bit noisy, but the service was very good. Definitely a good find."

A very friendly atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had the crab crusted salmon and my husband the tuna Bolognese. Appetizers and dessert were also delicious.   • "It's a nice, little place with a pleasant atmosphere...not the kind of restaurant you see a lot of in South Florida. The wait staff are friendly and attentive, but a little flaky. The food is good, but overpriced for such small portions...almost $150 (after tip) for a table of two is high in my book. I believe my entree was $41 for 3 or 4 scallops and some minute sides. It was good, but with a better price-to-portion ratio, it could be great."

  • "We were in Ft Lauderdale for a week and ate our way through the city's best restaurants. Sea was hands down our favorite restaurant. The food was excellent--the best ingredients shone on our plate. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and flavorful. The ingredients are treated with the respect they deserve. One can see how much love goes in preparing each dish. The Whiskey Cake is highly recommended. We encourage fellow foodies to try SEA. Your meal will be unforgettable."

  • "Great meal, friendly service and fine overall experience. We had to wait with a reservation because seating is limited and in demand, but the wait was short. The waitstaff served us beverages and told us about the menu as we waited. Everyone enjoys working there, we enjoyed eating there."

  • "Sea is small an VERY intimate. A trifle loud (they've made an attempt with sound baffles) but the food is exquisite. We had the wedge, the Caprese salad and the conch chowder for appetizers. They were included in the prix fixe menu. The scallops and crab-crusted Mahi entrees were perfectly prepared and seasoned. The vegetable presentation of three scoops of squash on a zucchini log was playful and delicious. The wine list was outstanding. Can't recommend Sea enough, although I'm tempted not to so it's never so busy that I can't get in. One thing (not the restaurant's fault): If you are dining in a small restaurant with basically two seatings, and you're at the 6:00 seating, it's customary to try and be out by the next seating. Not at 8:30."

  • "The weather was fantastic and the outdoor dinning was available. Paul our favorite and only person we will have share our evening with had our table ready for us. My husband had the soup of the night conch chowder, wow was what I heard escape from his lips .For dinner we both had snapper prepared differently. Mine crusted with garbanzo beans, while my husbands butterflied and braised. OMG OMG Robert never orders fish, he always opts for their divine meat selections. Even Paul was shocked when he ordered fish. Desert, blueberry cobbler with ice cream served hot, and yes I ate every bite. Robert had the whisky cake which her loved. FYI they bake their own breads, and the price of the entre is for 3 courses. Wine list well priced."

  • "We are lucky to have Chef Sindaco in our neighborhood, and although I am a little reluctant to spread the secret too much they deserve the acclaim!! SEA is a comfortably cozy and warm spot in Lauderdale by the Sea. There is easy access to the restaurant and plenty of parking available which is a plus. Attire is casual and the atmosphere relaxed. We enjoyed a top notch dinner for a very reasonable price, and will definitely make SEA one of our our regular stops. Service was outstanding and attentive, and a nice bottle of Pinot went well with our Braised grouper and crab encrusted mahi main courses. We followed with a piece of Tonys Famous Whiskey Cake and some coffee---yum. All in all a great place."

We were a little reluctant after reading a couple misguided reviews. so here's the lowdown. At dinner .Chef Tony offers a price fixed menu. Dinners run an average of 30-45 dollars. Dinners include a choice of soup, salad, or appetizer; followed by entree paired with vegetable; then You get a choice of one of four deserts. Everything is made to order. I had Chef Tonys Conch Chowder, followed by hummus crusted sea bass(yum) chowder was delicious, and loaded with great flavors, tender conch, and brilliantly prepared, entree was hummus crusted sea bass served over spinach with a wonderful sauce, for desert I had Chef Tonys famous whiskey"
