The service was attentive, and overall the food was great. The duck breast was juicy and well prepared, and the florida snapper w mustard sauce was great as well. Portions were fine. We ate outside on the sidewalk, not the most romantic, but we love dining outside. The other people in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals as well. We will definitely go back for sure, as we live close by.

don't be hesitant about coming back to Sea now that there's a new owner. The same chef who worked under the previous chef is still there and making the same great food. And Paul, the best waiter around, is still there. The best little restaurant in the area.

It's a restaurant with a nice decor given it is in a small strip mall and small size. However, they don't ran out of cola as a beverage? How can you run out of soda? The shrimp bisque was good. The crab crusted mahi had good presentation but otherwise bland and unmemorable. If in the area, there are better options.

We went on a Thursday night this time because weekends are pretty busy. We go to Sea once in awhile, but the waiters always remember us and our favorite wine. Everything is great here, but we keep returning for the seafood braise. The fish selection changes daily- this time it was grouper. Tender fish and perfectly cooked vegetables, but the sauce takes it over the top.

came across a groupon or Living Social certificate for this restaurant and we were going to Laud by the Sea so I purchased it. A bit off the beaten path but we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere isn't that special and it's in a strip mall but the food makes up for that! We were alone for a while and then another couple came in. We will return!

Only a dozen tables in this place, but very good food and very good service. However, the dining room is more like a deli lobby without the feel of a regular restaurant. Food and service both very good. The other thing to be aware of is that it is a set 3 course menu with only a few options for appetizers, entrees and desserts. I typically do not eat three courses in one evening, so we took dessert home.

Atmosphere is not Sea's strong suit. It's located in a strip mall and has a "sea" motif. The meals are 3-courses with the price based upon the price of the entre. There are add-ons to the small menu for an additional price. No complaints about what we had. There are some specials, so do check the website. We got a special savings through a Living Social voucher.

We have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years now. The seafood is usually exceptional. We hadn't been back for about six months. Unfortunately, this last visit my wife had to return the sea bass dish. It was not fresh and did not taste good at all. Her replacement (pasta with shrimp) lacked taste and the vegetables were OK and the spinach was disgusting. Definitely not what you're expecting for a $33.00 dish by itself. The waiter never bothered to change the order on the check, leaving the more expensive item we sent back and explaining the price did reflect the shrimp dish even though sea bass was on the ticket. My scallops were delicious but pricey. I hope this was just one bad night they had.

A very small restaurant, we were actually inches from the people next to us. Food was good and was a 3 course prix fixed menu. Prices between $35 and $56 per person. I left over a good amount of my main course and asked to have it boxed. They took it to the kitchen and it didn't come back until we asked for it. When I got home I opened it and it was another customers meal. I was ill! I called them immediately and they told me to come back and they would give me some food. I live 25 miles each way and it just was not worth it. They refused to give me a credit. I would not return here again.

I've been visiting Fort Lauderdale for years, and looking for good restaurants. I've had some good food, but little has been memorable. SEA was the first truly excellent restaurant I've encountered. The space is unassuming, just a mall storefront, but the staff is excellent: friendly without being pushy, efficient, well-informed. The food is a revelation. Truly fresh fish, prepared simply but exquisitely, and sides that were elegant, beautiful, and honest. You must try SEA if you like seafood.

We enjoyed our dinner experience at SEA. It has the homey feel of a small lunch diner spot but with fine dining selections. The price includes an appetizer, entree and a dessert. This is great because the decision to have an appetizer and/or dessert is made for you. The portions are such that you are full but not stuffed. This is our second time here (it has been a while) and I think the food was better the last time but it was still very good. The only con was that the greens, possibly spinach, were very bland. We took advantage of the no corkage fee and brought our own bottle of wine. (Check web site for these days). The prices range from mid $30 to mid $40 for the three courses. Nice spot especially if you live in the area.

Best seafood I've had in a LONG time. Awesome food and a good value. This place is a hidden gem; small and easy to miss since it's small and in a shopping center. Much better than any of the bigger, touristy restaurants in the area. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Surprisingly empty for a Saturday night, no idea why there is not a line around the corner to get into this place it's very good! Give Sea a chance you will not be disappointed.

What a great meal. Sea is a 3 course price fix dinner, with al la carte entrées also available. We both had specials Saturday evening, my husband the veal chop, which looked beautiful, and tasted even better. I had the shrimp pasta special, worth every carb. Sea is gracious about patrons bringing their own wines, with a reasonable corkage fee. Paul is a great server, he is knowledgeable and can assist you with any questions you may have. YOU Must make a reservation, Sea is a very small 10 table restaurant.

We found the choices to be fresh and excellently prepared. Pleasant ambiance...noisy, but we sat at the bar with direct view of the busy kitchen. Servers swarmed offering us great service. Proud of the food they served which helped us to feel good about what we ordered. It is a fixed price menu and that was a little uncomfortable in that we do not eat carbs...sugar or grains...and we do not eat lot's of food so we usually share. Sharing is NOT ALLOWED. But all in all the prices were reasonable, as well as the portions and we enjoyed tasting many different things. My only complaint would be the QUALITY. We like to eat CLEAN food. Organic only veggies ans fruits, wild and grass fed meats. Fine dining though almost at it's best!

visited SEA with another couple for a dinner on our way in to Laud by the Sea for some drinks. Food was outstanding and service attentive. The prix fixed menu was a plus as allowed for nice mix of salads and desserts with our excellent entrée. The Hummus crusted grouper was a big hit with a delicious taroe mash. Included deserts were excellent with the whisky cake and a straw rhubarb tart memorable. Very casual setting in small strip mall so nothing fancy here but the food!

The wife and I dined at SEA this past weekend and enjoyed our meal. The place is very, very small, but thankfully intimate. Despite the small size, the noise level was low, though only two other tables were occupied when we got there. More arrived as well left. The food portions were small, but very flavorful. The selection is very modest, but varied. I will definely be back.
