Unless you are prepared to wait!
They overbook and when you complain, they tell you that all the people standing around are also waiting! There were many standing around! They said that people stayed longer but the truth is, they overbook. 40 minutes is too long to wait! The food is good but if you like it, come back fduring the week!"

This time some of the fish main
courses were a kittle disappointing at the price."
Dined on 3/29/2014
Delicious fish and the portions
are very large. Wine is reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Generous also with the breads and pitas. You will leave very satisfied."

My husband and I love greek food
and Sea Grill is the best place in our neighborhood. The fish are always fresh and delicious prepared. The Brasino and Sea Bass are the best choices. All the good things come with a high price but it's worthy for special occasions."

neighborhood restaurant find, at the end of a strip mall. Service was excellent, very nice ambiance, great appetizers, but unfortunately the fish ( which is why we came here for), left a lot to be desired. We ordered the grouper and they served a very thick chunk ( maybe 3- 31/2 inches tall). It was tasty on the outside, but the rest was cardboard hard and tasteless. Made me wonder if they serve jewfish which is a very large and older grouper? If we do come back, I will stick to appetizers or meats, certainly not seafood as the name implies. I was disappointed to have spent so much on a meal not thoroughly enjoyed."

It is one of the best places we
have been to diner. Everything about it was excellent."
Dined on 3/20/2014
Food was very tasty. Fish, sides
and apps well seasoned. Chef's special sauce complimented the fish very well. Did not give it a five star, only due to the fact the restaurant should make a little effort in taming the moskito situation which takes away from having a complete pleasant experience"

Had a great dinner. Lamb shank is
the best around. The food and service is the best!!"

Decor is beautiful. The food was
delicious...and unusual...the server was excellent The noise level made conversation impossible, without shouting,,,and we will not return until the winter season is over."

I ordered sardines as a starter
they were not good at all not fresh very strong taste ,so I return them ,almost no apologize and they charged them , not very elegant"

The atmosphere of the restaurant
was lovely but the sea food was over cooked and salty. Great staff; very attentive."

Waited over half hour for table.
Food was excellent but the service is unattentive."

This is a great place to take
friends who like good food, especially Mediterranean-style seafood. My wife loves branzino. It was done to perfection, and she had enough to take leftovers home for lunch the next day. If you arrive after 7, you will wait, even if you have a reservation. The second time I booked a table for 6:15 and had no trouble getting seated. Even if you don't over-order (share a Greek appetizer or salad, and a dessert), expect to pay $100 per person, including wine and tip. Ask the waiter the prices of the "specials" they verbally describe. Our Dover sole was a surprising $58, when all other listed entrees were less than $40. Yes, good fish is expensive. But, it shouldn't be a surprise just how expensive."

Loved our first visit to Sea Grill
on Feb. 21, 2014. It's an interesting mix of Greek with seafood and you get the best of both. We tried several appetizers and all were excellent (don't miss the octopus!) and thanks to the server's suggestion, we shared several fish dishes. All were cooked expertly and very generous in portion size. As a side we loved the grilled vegetables. We enjoyed cocktails which were well made and generous. Also, the wine list lets you enjoy wine with your dinner at a reasonable price. We loved the pinot grigio recommended by our waiter and had two bottles at $32 per. The on-the-house "grapefruitcello" after dinner drink was delicious and a nice touch to end a wonderful evening. Use OpenTable for your reservation"

We have had wonderful meals at Sea
Grill (except once when we had bad service by a waiter) but this was another great evening ! Our son was visiting from London, and among his many talents,he is a foodie ! And he loves good Greek food which he finds in New York,Miami, and Montreal. We ordered very chilled Sauvignon Blanc (Kim Crawford), and a martini for one guest, and proceeded to choose from the menu. We shared a big tasty Greek salad, some "grilled" cheese,Greek fries, and some green veggies along with Florida Pompano, snapper and Chilean Sea bass.Everything was delicious.Peter the chef stopped by to say hello and he suggested a couple of desserts to which we succumbed,Fresh mint tea and coffee completed our delicious evening."

This is an excellent restaurant.
Food is great and the service is excellent."

Our lunch was pricey. The salad
was great. The food was decent. The bread was good. The wine was over priced. The waiter was excellent. It was just too expensicpve for mid week, average lunch."
Dined on 2/15/2014
Great restaurant. Excellent food.
Loved the Bronzino and complimentary baklava. A little disorganized server but more than made up for no bread by giving us complimentary dessert and after dinner drink. Would go back in a minute."

Food is simple and delicious. One
of my favorite places."

We have been coming to Sea Grill
since it first opened about two years ago .Although the food has remained consistently good, the service has become worse and worse each time. Food is excellent and fresh however waiting 45 minutes for a drink, running out of bread, waiter apologizing that he is too busy all makes for a horrible evening even if the food is wonderful. The last 4 times we have been here, the service has been worse and worse each time. Sorry to say,we will not be returning until they fix the problems."

loved their dinners. Great service."

Went on valentines. Food was
great. But not even a little bit romantic. No musuc no flowers nothing like valentines day."

Valentines dinner with our very
good friends at a favourite Greek sea food Resto. We started with chilled sauvignon blanc and martinis as we nibbled on spicy flatbread.Starters were our favorite Greek salads, and smelts. Our mains were grilled shrimp,crab-stuffed shrimp, and swordfish (on our last visit the swordfish portions were more generous). All were served with yummy Greek style potatoes. The food is a favourite of ours, and a nice touch as we leave,is a sweet Greek cookie ! Note to restaurant : Please do something about those banquet seats.....they are too low for the height of the table, and not deep enough for comfort ! I'm sure this will please the patrons who have had to sit on them ! Thanks....."

Food was good( expect for sand
filled oysters) however the atmosphere is dull and service was inconsistent. The bus girl would take plates away way too quickly. The main waiter was very attentive and efficient but he embarrassed us when we left resto. My dining companion who treated me to the meal miscalculated the tip meaning to leave 20%. As we left ,the waiter asked us why his tip was so low!"

Decided to return to the scene of
the best dining experience in the past 6 months . My BW and daughter were not disappointed. We repeated the same appetizers [ delicious Greek Salad and Grilled yellow and red peppers ] . Together with a bottle of Prosecco, it was another tasty beginning. Different entrees included a fabulous Red Snapper cooked in olive oil and lemon. and a rare Tuna Steak ,both served with lemon potatoes. Daughter insisted on repeating her favorite Lamb Chops.which were again outstanding. We always leave Sea Grill knowing that it could not be better anywhere."

We ate with a group inside this
time due to the rain. We liked outside better since it was more personal. But the food was very good and everyone enjoyed what they had from the lamb chops, ribs to the grouper plaki. Great spicy crackers."

It`s my 3rd time in 2 weeks. Very
very good. And the service......outstanding."
Dined on 1/27/2014
The room was a little catering
hall like but the tables were large and well separated. The service was decent. The fish was as fresh as any I ever eaten. I was told the chef personally picks it up at the airport daily and it tasted like it. The greek salad and the grilled octopus was good as well. As good as any greek place in nyc. Enjoyable dining experience."

Classic: carp roe spread, roasted
baby eggplant, tzatziki, garlic and almond spread. Grouper platki (baked in fish broth, onions and tomatoe). Pompano (Florida's best fish which you hardly ever see on menu). Filet mignon ke-babs. Lemon potatoes and broccolini sauted in garlic w/feta. Elios wine from Greece is not too sweet nor dry. Dessert of ettki (spelling?) was divine! Service impeccable. Attentive, knowledgable and extremely competent waiter. Complementary limoncello after dinner and almond butter crescent cookie upon leaving. Sea Grill is a gem!"

Excellent resto. We went back many
times during our vacation from Canada They have delicious fish ( branzino) and make it special with a shot of limoncello and baked cookies. Love it there"
Dined on 1/12/2014
As I stated, the service was
outstanding and the food was very good. We were seated outside, the fan was turned off above us as we requested and the water, bread, and drink orders were brought out quickly. The Manhattan clam chowder was delicious as was my grouper plaki. The others in my party had the lamb chops and the swordfish. Lamb chops were loved, the swordfish could have been a bigger portion."

Read every word as this dining
experience was one to remember. First visit and will be back often. Elegant decor, stark white atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff rank second to food presentation and taste. Shared appetizers of Grilled yellow peppers, and a fabulous Greek Salad were perfect for my threesome. My daughter said the Grilled Lamb Chops were better than mine. That said something ! A whole Mediterranean Branzino fish [ my personal favorite ] was sensational. My BW tried Grouper " Greek Style ".Another winner. Lemon Potatoes accompanied all the entrees. The best dessert was yet to come. Warm signature Apple Pie made big enough to share by all with a side of Ice Cream. It was worth every calorie......"

We live in NYC and eat out at high
end restaurants very frequently. The food was acceptable but for the prices charged here one would expect a certain level of service. The service was not just bad but non-existent. After the waiter took the initial order we only saw him as he was rushing by to serve other tables. We wanted dessert but never were able to order it properly. We managed to order coffee from a busboy but it took a long time before we got milk with the coffee. When we complained to the manager on our way out we were told that the waiter was overtaxed. The management never tried to make amends of any kind. This was a disappointing dining experience."
Dined on 12/26/2013
Outstanding food and many choices.
All dishes exceptional. Whether your a vegetarian or not everything is healthy. Great wine and service. The room is gorgeous but there is also outdoor seating. This restaurant has it all!"
Dined on 12/26/2013
We went on a recommendation on a
Trump Hotel blog where we were staying and very glad we ate their. The food was perfect and the service was more the excellent."
Dined on 12/14/2013
Our party of 5 dined recently for
dinner...we asked for a view of the outdoors, but were seated in back end of restaurant, even though it was nearly empty. Food was only fair, certainly did not command the excessive pricing. We found it vastly overpriced on entrees, and quality was only so-so, plus presentation on plate was very mediocre...dont think we'll return... terrible value."
