Offering seasonally focused, contemporary American seafood, where only the finest and freshest seafood is highlighted. Guests will be enchanted by the superb selection of raw bar favorites and delicious appetizers which include East & West Coast Oysters, Chilled Lobster, and expertly seasoned Yellowfin Tuna Tartare. Entrée selections are sure to delight, with succulent Alaskan King Crab Legs, elegant Herb Basted Black Bass and the menu wouldn't be complete without the addition of SFG's Surf & Turf - tender filet mignon and buttery steamed lobster.

  • "came here for my birthday, the entrance is kind of small and easy to miss. but after you enter, you will find it really a cool place to have a drink and dine. Bar area is small but cozy, dining area stretches deep. the waiters there are excellent, informative and considerate. For food, i highly recommend scallop for appetizer, if you want raw oyster, you'd better order a dozen for 2 pl."

  • "Dinner was excellent. I had the rack of lamb and my husband had the filet mignon. Both were done to perfection, and the lobster macaroni and cheese was really delicious. Service was outstanding. There is a happy hour at the bar where you can get selected glasses of wine for half price. A good bargain. Overall, we had a most enjoyable dining experience."

  • "A very pleasent dinner. Waiter was nice and approached at appropriate times, knowledgeable about the menu as well. The food was quite good, my aunt and I left very satisfied. The only thing this restaurant lacks is an identity. There are so many similar spots around, nothing quite stood out to me as a WOW. Nice lit up wall with water bubbles cascading, but I've had comperable meals at similar locations in midtown. All in all, good dinner and solid service, just no wow factor."

  • "The Sea Fire Grill is an amazing restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a team of friendly team members who make you feel that you are a regular at this great eatery. Extremely unique and very unususual (especially for New York City!). The waitstaff was attentive, engaged in (relevant) conversation, and made great suggestions with the wine list, cocktails and food choices. The seafood was fresh, prepared right and presented beautifully. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will be sure to return soon!"

  • "This place is a wanna be who just isn't. The prawns were flavorful but overcooked and too expensive not to be perfect. The Bronzino was good but it was on top of a crunchy salad and the mix of the 2 detracted from the delicate taste of the fish. The tuna tartare had no flavor. I won't be going back."

  • "I was looking forward to Sea Fire but was so disappointed. The service was mixed. Our back staff was fabulous. Our waiter -- not so much. We had a 20 min wait between when our entree was cleared and when he asked if we would like dessert; my companion asked for vanilla ice cream instead of red velvet -- and the dessert came with ... red velvet. Even when he didn't eat it the waiter never acknowledged the issue and was so absent we couldn't send it back. Our appetizers were actually quite good - Oysters Rockefeller and Crab Cakes. Our entrees were not. The surf & turf (at $74) had an under seasoned filet and an overcooked lobster pieces (1/2 tail and two class). My filet - ordered medium rare was overcooked and laking any flavor."

The first evening my daughter had steak, at a seafood place I selected something else for here; she is (very!) consious to what was accepted on the plate in front of here. I had the halibut and was not disappointed. But when I saw the steak my daughter was served, and the way she consumed the content on the plate, I decided to pay a visit the following evening. That was not a straight forward choice being a consious dinner family visiting NY with an endless list of places to eat, just in the blocks surrounding the area we stayed at had several places we wanted to try. That 2. evening we all 4 had steaks; it was outstanding. So was the service, with the staff keeping busy to ensure our best."

  • "My husband and I celebrated our 12thyr Wedding Anniv in this Restaurant for the 1st time. We've been searching for an extra nice and special place to dine in. And finally, I was able to find Sea Fire Grill and no regrets! Kinda pricey but definitely worth it. We really love the crab cake, calamari and filet mignon not to mention my linguine pasta with seafood. Rolland gave us the best service and he's realy nice and accomodating server. Will definitely come back here!"

  • "My son and I took my husband there for Father's Day and it was fantastic. We had the prefixed special dinner, which had great selections. The staff was attentive and the food delicious, from the appetizer to dessert. When we left, the maître d' presented my husband with a father's day gift of a gift certificate to use on a future visit. We definitely will do so when we return to NYC at the end of the month."

  • "The ambiance and service at this restaurant was good, but unfortunately the poor quality of the food overshadowed that. We had scallops which were quite good but overpriced. The prawns were nearly inedible, which was very disappointing in comparison with our high expectations. Overall, the meal was overpriced for the quality. I'd prefer the Keg any day."

It's simply that there are so many other brilliant options for seafood in New York that I really wasn't impressed. It's quite expensive. The wine by the glass is pretty terrible (tried two)."

  • "The waiter could not have been nicer. We were four people and everyone really liked what they ordered, and the portions were most generous. We all shared the molten chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream (not the flavor they serve it with). Both ice cream and cake were amazingly delicious. I would have liked the restaurant even more if it were a little quieter, but considering the size of the restaurant it wasn't that bad. The restaurant has a certain pizazz."
