We love to have fish served on the side of less rather than more, cooked, as the fish tends to continue to cook, with time. Salmon was just a little more cooked..sea bass and trout hit the mark. I went with a friend before going to the show at the Arts Center. She had a specific diet request and the chef was more than willing to accommodate. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the grilled Tuna and it practically melted in my mouth! The wait staff was very attentive. The location is great with excellent views of the city. We sat indoors but there's a nice outdoor patio facing the heart of downtown. Plenty of parking (validated for 3 hours). The restaurant was quiet with great views of the city. If the temperature had been a bit warmer, we would have been outside which looked really scenic and romantic. I ordered the cold seafood sampler as my entree. It was a large platter of shrimp, oysters, and ahi. It was all delicious especially the ahi, its accompanying cucumber salad. The oysters were incredibly fresh. My husband had the jambalaya which he liked alot. Dessert was a hot fudge sundae and the best bread pudding I've ever had. This was my first time going, so I did not know anything about the restaurant,except for the reviews that I had read on the Internet.But I made a great choice, because the service and the food was great. This is the frist time we have gone to a restaurant and he has no complaints and did not complain about anything. He had the Filet Mignon and it was cook just as he order and I had the tuout which was great. The view was fantastic,over looking the city and very romantic for a birthday dinner. The style of the restaurant was elegant and supportive of the whole experience. The view was excellent. The service was efficient and non-invasive. However, we felt neglected by our server after our ord was placed. The Fresh Trout was particularly good. Service was fun and friendly while the food delivery was a little slow. We dined early in order to make A Sunday 6:30 Play ... apparently many others had the same idea as the Restaurant was pretty full... which may have contributed to the slowness of the delivery of our dinners. The place filled up fast. My thoughts on dinner: Calamari was nice, lemon sauce +++. Oysters were OK, my friend had one that had an "old - fishy taste." The soups (clam chowder and lobster bisque) were also good, though the clam chowder needed salt and pepper. Still don't know why chefs don't season enough. Wine list is just OK, maybe $10 a bottle more than it should be. We had the Halibut special, potato crusted with a red pepper sauce. Fantastic choice, the fish and accompanying mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were great. Downside was that the red pepper sauce could have been a little thicker, it was thin and ran under the potatoes. I didn't know what to expect from a restaurant on top of a parking garage, but I was not disappointed. The entire staff was very good, and the food was fantastic.
