We have been long time customers to their Sunday brunch and Easter brunch and wanted to experience a dinner there. My husband loved his steak and lobster meal with crab cakes app and chowder. This was our third dining experience here. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Dungeness Crab Louis, and our friends loved the Bay Shrimp Louis and Wild Prawn Fettuccine. I enjoyed my Grilled Chicken Breast. It was a busy evening for the staff due to a wedding reception and the restaurant was getting full at our 7:15 pm reservation time. With an Open Table reservation and arriving 20 minutes early we reque sted outdoor seating we were given a pager and directed to the lounge. After waiting 35 minutes and drinking the obligatory lounge drink I went to the hostess and asked about our table. She said she had been paging me for 5 minutes. The pager wasn't working and the hostess proceeded to sit us inside. I said I had requested outdoor seating...she said outdoor seating was on a first come basis and we would have to wait longer. Scott's on the river is located at the hotel and what a pleasure it was. The food was so fresh and delicious. My husband had the salmon and it was so moist and flavorful. I had the crab tacos, usually an appetizer, and they were very delicate but flavorful. Our server, Kaitlyn, could not have been better. She was friendly, efficient and just a very nice young woman. She always made us feel like we were her only table, which we were not. Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
He gave Zack the typical free dessert, but also gave him a house champagne to take home. That was very nice of him. Zack appreciated it. We sat outside with a view of the river. The gardens were nice to look at. Very good seafood, fresh and cooked perfectly. Overall, a very pleasant evening. I would go back.

The brunch menu is not very large but what they offer is a very nice assortment. The quality of the food was excellent. We invited a couple and when I saw the four 1/2" mostly fatty slices of prime rib that was put on his plate, I was so embarrassed. I had not intended to get prime rib, but waited in line a bit and asked for a slice. I too got a very thin slice(like lunchmeat), I managed to trade plates with him, saying I 'liked' fatty cuts :( My husband and I come often and and I've enjoyed your 'usual' brunch with other women friends. I would suggest not offering prime rib next time. Positives: table was ready and waiting for us at 2:00, staff/waiters were excellent, as usual, all other foods were delicious, as usual. We had not been here before so we went to the right from the parking lot and fund that we had gne un the back way. It took several queries to staff to find out where we should have gone. Putting signs out for customers would have been helpful. Otherwise, the food is fabulous, the service is good, and the views are wonderful. I wwu,d certainly go here again. We chose to eat outside on the patio with a view of the river. The patio was a nice change from the bar scene very relaxing.Unfortunatly the happy hour prices on drinks were not available when dining on the patio.

Neither of us had ever been to Scotts on the river and it was the perfect place to enjoy "girl time!" Great view-we sat outside by the fire, the food was delicious and I felt our server was there for us not just doing a job. She overheard that we were getting cold and offered to move us closer to the fire, which we did and that made quite a difference in our comfort. We got there at 1pm were served immediately and not rushed to leave as the time moved into the dinner hour.
