The waitstaff was very friendly - no attitude at all when we aske to move tables to get away from an annoying fan noise. The waiter continuously refilled our Mimosas and OJ. The food was good some things better than others, nothing stood out as fantastic - but it was a brunch buffet after all. It is a very large restaurant with a relaxing view of the water. The service was excellent with the servers constantly refilling drinks without prompting. Its very expensive for the portions. Cheesecake factory a national chain serves equally good food with larger portions. Nowhere did it indicate that it was only valid at the San Jose and Walnut Creek restaurants. After ordering a wonderful dinner, I was told that the Gift Certificate that I planned to use to pay for the dinner, was not valid at the Oakland location! This location is "family owned" and is not a member of the Scott's corporation.

Seating with a view of the Bay. The perfect atmosphere and romantic ambiance to set the tone for the evening. The Dinner Menu was fit for a King with mouthwatering appetizers. The food was well prepared and well-seasoned. The Desert Menu was exquisite. While the professional pianist performed solo pieces to set the atmosphere. We had some family here from the midwest who do not get a chance to have it very often. I requested a table with a view and was accommodated nicely. All the food was excellent as usual. Scott's clam chowder is highly recommended. My sister had the seafood salad which was beautifully presented and very tasty. Two people had the seafood saute which is definitely on my list to have next time. We were having such a nice time that we didn't notice that we were practically the last ones in the restaurant as they were getting ready to close even though we had arrived at 7. What a great experience for someone like me who had never been there before. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, parking was not an issue; the staff from the front reception to the bar to the table was attentive and personal. The food was good; I was expecting more variety of seafood for brunch though. What a beautiful view from our window table. The food was fantastic. Great clam chowder, fresh crab, plank salmon. Yum. Ended with bread pudding bannanas foster. Perfect!
Not cheap, but prices appropriate for location and quality. Starting from being greeted and attended to when you step in to the waitresses at the bar to the waiter at the table, the service was great making the visit enjoyable.
I enjoyed the Piano player who gave a nice touch to the atmosphere.
The food was excellent, the dessert supreme.
My guests were very pleased with the envirnment and the view and thoroughly enjoyed the dinner.
I was very happy that the noise level was subdued so i could have a conversation with my guests.

We went to brunch with three people and had a great view of the outside area. Perhaps one of the best Irish coffee's I have had in years. The brunch is a good value for the money. Parking is easy. If you come at 10-11 AM on a (normal) Sunday, you should not have an issue with getting a table. I would book a table if you have any doubts.
