Scott's Seafood Grill & Bar - FolsomGreat!Had not been here in awhile. The food was outstanding. The best thing about Scott's is that they are so flexible. I wanted the Halibut but not with the Macadamain crust so they did it blackened. It was delicious. My husband wanted the Sole but with the side of the Snapper. No problem. Veggies were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent as well. As always, the fish was great, but the vegetables were not. Scott's has been serving this entree for years with the same vegetables-matchstick carrots and green beans. The beans this time were far from fresh, even shriveled. They offered a good selection of buffet brunch food. There were several breakfast choices. My husband said the applewood smoked bacon was exceptionally good. We both enjoyed the seafood variety, which included oysters, shimp, seared ahi, poke, and fish. They also served carved ham and beef. The desserts that we ate were good. I can see why they love it so much. The service was wonderful. Our server was quite attentive to our every need. There are a variety of choices on the menu from surf to turf. The selection of desserts were quite extensive also. There was gelato, cake and cheesecake among others. My waiter was great and a long time server. The bus boy has been there 12 years and was very attentive.
