  • "it was my boyfriends birthday.I was scrambling for a restaurant to find to take him to of course I don't just want to take into any restaurants and you that any restaurant in Park Slope would be okay for me to take him to but SCOTTADITO OSTERIA TOSCANA, Really blew my mind the food the service everything as soon as we walked in we were seated. I really dont recall our servers name but the way he took care of us I wish I did... to summarize I will definitely be dining here again in the near future."

  • "I live in Manhattan and was visiting my Brooklyn friend and someone had recommended this place to me. They have a prix Fixe Brunch which offered several varied choices. Portions were generous and include unlimited mimosas. Of course, this cannot be the best champagne and the mimosa was less than fantastic, but they do keep pouring if you like! The staff was very gracious and welcoming. There is a large room in the back where they were hosting a private party. The back walls are glass and the room has an atrium feeling- very open and light."

  • "The brunch meal itself was pretty good, and I really have no qualms about that. Got the Tagliatelle and the portion wasn't drenched in truffle oil. The mimosas themselves were very weak and the waiter was very slow with pouring the mimosas. Many times I would have to ask, even though he would pass our table while I had an empty cup. I mean, if you're going to offer bottomless mimosas, you need to be better about serving that since obviously that's a major draw. We were also given the check before asking and we had been there less than an hour! There were also plenty of seats available so it's not like they needed our two seats right away."

  • "Warm atmosphere with friendly attentive wait staff . Very relaxing, we were never rushed. The front room is very cozy but dark. I prefer that room for dinner. The back room where we ate is cheerful & warm looking out at the garden & fish pond. Pre fix brunch with unlimited mimosas or champagne was fantastic. Love that you had a choice of traditional brunch dishes, homemade pasta or salad. All 6 of us were very pleased with our varied choices."

  • "Chose after review of menu and OT reviews. Food and service was excellent. Front room near bar is great for romantic night. Back room is more bright and good for groups. Has outdoor area, but we were there in Feb. The wine list was okay if you're not a big wine enthusiast and like a number of options for each varietal/region. Two in our party had red by the bottle which they really liked. I had white by the glass because I didn't want a bottle to myself. Options in wine could be better, but the food/service/ambiance overrode that aspect for us. We would return/recommend."

  • "Dinner on Valentine's Day. The head waiter recited the specials & took our drink order. He left & returned with no drinks & took our food order. We sat with tepid tap water for 15 minutes. Finally, the bus boy brought appetizers, but no bread; a waiter came at the same time with cocktails. We wanted white wine with the appetizers, but instead drank martinis. My soup was cold; my husband's mozzarella/tomato salad was quite warm; bits of shell in my lobster/(overcooked) pasta;husband's meat was full of gristle. At the end, our plates were still over 3/4 full. The $12-per glass red wine was OK. The teeny "champagne" cocktail they gifted us at the end, tasted like 7-Up. We said "No" to dessert & doggie bags."

Because it was NYE and the restaurant was very busy, service wasn't great. The food was OK, but seemed as though it had been rushed, and didn't taste of a lot. I think that this restaurant would be great on a quieter night - so wouldn't rule out going back again in the future."

  • "we booked this resturant as were heading to billy joel concert in Brooklyn. Reservations were for 7:45 and we got seated by about 8 which for new years eve was fine. Resturant is in ground floor of an old brick building and we were seated in back dining room which was vey cool. Brick facing and high ceilings. Azir was our waiter and he was exclelent with both suggestiosn and serivce. Food was very good as I had a pasta dish and my wife had chilean sea bass. Started witht he portugese octopus and warm olives. I am big user of Open table and yelp and sometimes reivews run hot and cold, but this was great epxriecne and would go back."

  • "We went to Scottadito Osteria Toscana for lunch on the day before Thanksgiving. We were expecting "good" food but were pleasantly surprised by the terrific meal we were served. The asparagus, pea and shallot soup was rich and flavorful without cream and the pizza was fabulous. Two of us had tagliatelle with mushrooms, which had a terrifically rich and robust flavor that could compete with the highest priced entrees in Manhattan. The salmon was generous and also delicious. The prix fixe price is one of the best bargains, especially since it comes with a glass of wine. This restaurant deserves a higher food rating than 21."

  • "Made reservtns for 10ppl at 11am for Sunday bday brunch. 3 of us arrived at 10:50am and were told to wait outside in the cold until 11. Then we enter at 11am sharp and are told that we would need to wait for whole party before we can be seated. The restaurant was empty. I pressed the hostess to seat us, pointing out a huge empty establishment and the fact that we were about to be joined by 2 very unsettled 3year olds who should not be made to stand in the doorway in an empty restaurant. The hostess just kept hiding behind "policy" and wouldn't budge. Our friend baked a tray of birthday cupcakes and brought them to the restaurant. The waiter insisted that a $3 per person fee would apply. Those would be mighty expensive cupcakes."

  • "My girlfriend and I went to brunch here on Saturday afternoon. We love the decor and ambience. We each had one of the brunch specials - off menu, and it was delicious, but nothing to write home about. Our waiter Danny was helpful, gracious and just all around welcoming. Everyone from the hostess who greeted and seated us, to the other waiters, to the guys who cleared the table went beyond what is considered general wait staff friendliness, and we loved it! Of course, we also enjoyed the AYCD feature. Unfortunately we don't drink nearly enough to have taken complete advantage of the very generous and frequent refills; they are not stingy with the liquor, and the mimosas (what I had) were very well-made. We'll definitely go back."
