  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants. I come here all the time and find myself incredibly excited when it is listed on groupon. I have always been happy here. The reason I gave them a 3 star review on food is bc I feel since opening, scosso hasn't kept up to par with how good the food is. The pasta is often not al dente but in fact not done, the chicken Marsala was drowning in the wine sauce to the point that my food was dripping as i lifted each bite. The service is always great I just hope scosso goes back to their old ways of cooking food to perfection. The service is not enough to keep going and if I'm going to spend over $100 on dinner for food i expect more than lackluster."

  • "We were not sure how another mall restaurant would be but were pleasantly surprised with Scosso. We loved the decor and atmosphere. We had eggplant rollatini for an appetizer, delicious. My fiance had the shrimp limone and I had the veal saltimbocca and neither could complain. Or waiter, Yan, was very attentive and pleasant."

  • "This is a bit of a hidden gem right now - I don't think people on the North Shore realize they have a NYC-like restaurant/bar right at the mall! The pasta dishes are fresh and finding fresh pasta isn't easy on the North Shore. The martinis are amazing - I had a Cosmo and it came to the table looking so cool we took a picture of it!"

  • "The restaurant appears to have promise, but the music was aggravating and too loud, the lighting was much too low, the temperature was much too cold, and the waitstaff was bothersome. We were on a rare night out without our children and we're sorry we wasted the opportunity on this restaurant. For the prices they charge, we would have had a much better time at Davio's."

  • "The entrees were expensive, given that the overall quality of the food was just OK. The shrimp/scallop scampi appetizer was bland, the artichoke hearts appetizer was delicious, and the bread was awesome. The pasta in the Ultimo dish was too thick, but overall this dish was tasty. The other pasta dish with lots of seafood was too bland. The tiramisu was dellcious."

  • "atmosphere was fun . Our waiter was very good . two minutes after being seated, I was bumped hard by a passing waiter -- never turned or acknowledged it . I adjusted my seat and pushed the table further from the aisle, to no avail . A few minutes later -- got bumped again , he never turned ! 15 minutes later my daughter got bumped on the other side of the table . Apps were good ---entrees were average . Atmosphere would appear to be their forte . I will try it one more time ."

  • "Finally was able to try this restaurant, food was great, Keith our waiter was very accomidating, we were on the first floor all the way in the back, and was extremely cold, the windows being so large are not insulated very good for the cold winters we endure. He was kind enough to move us, it helped a bit, though still chilly. The food was outstanding! We would either sit upstairs next time or at the bar, away from the windows."

  • "I had been to the Venetian Moon and dragged my boyfriend up for a special night. First off let me say the big seller here for me was the Jewel of Russia Martini - if you like vodka, you need to drink this. Its one of the more expensive martinis at $18 a glass, but it is by FAR the best vodka I have had. VERY smooth. I got the Chicken eccitable(sp?) it was good, but between the stuffed mushrooms and salad, I couldn't even finish this if I wanted to. I thought my meal was huge, but my boyfriend got the veal.. It was the size of sasquatchs foot. He couldn't even put a dent in it, and he loves his food. I loved the scene here and can't wait to be back. I've only been here for dinner and would love to try it for lunch."

I especially enjoyed the marinara sauce. I have found that it is not always easy to find an authentic and clean tasting marinara at a restaurant."

  • "The martini list is excellent, so if that's what you want, this is a great place to go. The food is heavy, oily and a bit over-cooked (gnocchi was mushy). If you've eaten at Venetian Moon, it is very much the same as far as food quality, but slight;y more pricey. Having said that, the staff was fantastic. From the first moment we stepped in to our way out, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Based on that alone I'm sure I'll eat here again eventually, especially if I want martinis!"

  • "I brought my girlfriend here for our valentine's dinner date. Neither of us had been there before and we wanted to try it out. The service was good and we were actually seated before our reservation time. The appetizer was pretty good (sautéed artichoke hearts), and the meals were okay. They like to add a lot of spices to the food it seemed. The music was a little loud for our liking. I could barely hear my girlfriend from the other side of a two seater table. I would suggest this dining venue but not as a weekly occurrence. Special occasions are nice though."

  • "My meal was very good. The place its self was very nice.MY WIFE SAID THE DRINKS WERE GREAT! My server was Very, Very nice and helpful. But very very slow. Drinks took a long time. This could have been a bar problem. THE BAR WAS PACKED. it looked like there was only one bartender on. It was only a week day, but maybe a 2nd bartender would not be a bad idea. Overall I would go back, But with the prices being a little high (Dinners between $25 and $35) and slow service, I hope for a Better experience next time."

  • "This is nice and new but the service is very slow, the food took over an hour to start coming out. (It was the same with other tables as well.) The food is expensive it had no quality or appeal and didn't taste very good. Everyone in my party of 8 people hated the place. Food was like eating at the 99 restaurant. Ask others who have tried before you go there. I predict this will be another failed restaurant. Over all time spent there was about 3 hours."

  • "First time here for a Saturday afternoon lunch after taking in a movie. We were seated right away on the first floor and received great attentive service from the start. Bread was fresh and warm served with herbed olive oil. Generous sized martinis held us through the entire lunch. We ordered the lemon chicken and eggplant rollatini, each served with a nice mixed greens salad and choice of pasta. Our meal was topped off with the flourless chocolate torte, sized to easily share. Will definitely return to this relaxing, laid back restaurant."

  • "8:30 reservation for 4 but waited 20 mins for drinks and 35 mins table, then 55 mins for food. The hostess was weak, the drink server was new and weak, the waiter was OK but the food wasn't. Two seafood orders were tasteless (baked haddock and seafood pasta). Two orders had way too much garlic. The gnocchi was dreadful. We were a calm group and we wanted to give feedback to manager but she didn't want to meet us. We insisted. She argued with us and couldn't believe us and barely apologized but comped the gnocchi and drinks. She was poorly trained. She should have said, " I'm sorry. This isn't our usual effort. I will give feedback to the kitchen. We use great ingredients but something went wrong. We hope you give us another chance.""

  • "Came here on a recommendation from a friend of mine. The food was very good as well was the ambience. I think we had a new waitress as she seemed to be a little forgetful. It was not too busy and she forgot to bring two wine glasses, bread, and she rarely ever checked in on us to see if we needed anything. But the food and the wine list made up for it. I would recommend coming here. The food is worth it."
