"The fruit bar was small but the fruit was very fresh and delicious. I ordered the scion breakfast which is pretty hard to mess up but the toast was burnt and the potato/home fries portion was pitifully small. The eggs and bacon were good though. I also had the bottomless bloody mary's but they weren't to my liking - I would have preferred the option of a bloody mary bar where I could make them to my taste. My wife got a portabella panini and she loved it. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is good for a brunch. It wasn't even too crowded which was a pleasant surprise given it was Easter Sunday."

"We took a friend there for pre-Easter brunch. The location near Dupont Circle was very convenient. The food was very good, there was a fruit buffet included with every entre. The restaurant layout was crowded, but the staff was friendly and the menu was interesting."

"Scion was a great experience overall. The atmosphere was very fun and inviting. We ordered a few appetizers to share; the fried pickles, scallops and succotash, surf and turk sliders; glazed salmon, and crab dip. The salmon and crab dip were average, but everything else was awesome! Especially the sliders. The only somewhat bad thing was our food was coming out at weird times. We went with another couple and they were finished with their entrees and we will still waiting on one more appetizer. Overall the food was great, I would definitely go back."

"I booked this restaurant after looking at the menu online. My boyfriend has Celiac Disease, so he needed gluten-free options, and I am a vegetarian so I wanted meatless options. We were both extremely happy with this restaurant, as was my boyfriend's brother (who eats anything!). It was awesome to have a restaurant that not only fit all our needs, but also had amazing food!"

"This is the first time we have been to scion for brunch. We chose the unlimited drinks and each selected a menu item. While the food was pretty good, our server was beyond slow. We waiting at least 20 minutes for our first round of drinks and our server seemed annoyed. After of 30 minutes, she took our order. We again waited 20 minutes for our second round of drinks and the request was met with an eye roll. She brought our check (after much waiting) and then disappeared. I was a server on and off for ten years and have rarely tipped less then 20%, but I ended up leaving her a 15% tip. Had the service been better, I think we would have enjoyed our experience considerably more."

"I am a regular to scion and this is the first time where everything went wrong. The only thing that was good was the potatoes and the French toast. The bacon was burnt couldn't say much about the orange juice and mimosa and the service was ehh."
