Service was efficient, but very rude. The waitress rolled her eyes when we asked about the menu, and the plates and glasses were grabbed from the table while we were still eating. Food was ok. Good ambiance, and fun place if going out after.

Went with a large group of friends and we had a great time. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. Our waiter was very inattentive --actually had to get up out of our chairs twice to grab him, and we are not a very high-maintenance crowd. The rest of the staff was solid. The restaurant was loud and fun. Definitely would go back.

Schiller's is always a winner. I've been going here for over two years now. The mussels are amongst one of the best things on the menu along with the rotisserie chicken and the calamari. The list drinks list is great especially the cocktails but also the wine. The service is always perfect - the staff are always accommodating, friendly and attentive even on a busy Friday/Saturday evening. The ambiance is fun lively and seems to hit the perfect balance - I take my parents here - you can take small children - its perfect for a romantic dinner date or an occasion dinner with a group of friends - everyone always enjoys!

I got the garlic shrimp and they were chewy (obviously not fresh) and the garlic butter was garlic oil. The waitress offered to take them back, but waiting for something else would have been disruptive as my friend and I had limited time. Her croque monseigneur was as ordinary as you could get. And the bread was unremarkable as well. The service was great, the ambiance perfect, but the food blows. Won't be back.

Although our dinner was good, the service lacked a lot. The hostess was most interested in talking to friends at the bar and the waitress took at least 15 minutes for every round of drinks. She was not especially informed about the menu and in general, did not make our group feel comfortable, as a good waitress should do. I would not return here.

Good food, great service and not too crowded for a Saturday brunch with friends. Love the decor and the brunch cocktails were great. We lingered, enjoyed a bunch of food, and had a great start to the day. The beet(soft beets) and grilled caesar(way over dressed) salads were underwhelming but the fries, croque madame and burger were great. Steak Frites was good, but tough. Stick to the sandwiches where they are really getting it right. And as stated before, the service was really great.

Schillers reminded me of a British Bar. It had tables and booth seating with low lights and TV (as you would get in bars). Food was very good, I had the burger with fries (it would be rude not to) it was very good! The wine list is cleaver, they list wines 1,2 & 3. 1 being the cheapest and 3 the most expensive. We tried the number 1 (not very nice, but that would teach us to go cheap!) Relatively cheap night and a lovely ambience. We went in the evening where the whole area was buzzing! Would definitely visit again!

I gave a bad rate on service, because the waitress were not so friendly and as soon as we finished eating they presented us the desert menu, so far not bad, but we were full and we didn't want any desert so right away she brought us the check while we were looking for the cocktail menu. And thats why we didn´t order any cocktail, we paid the check and went go drinking somewhere else. only the guys that pick up our finished meal plates were very friendly. Those guys i give 5 star. Also the security guy, ask the waitress where i was going once i get up to go to the restrooms. So the food was good but the service very bad.

Great place for oysters, romantic night out, or good drinks. We had the fish/chips and hamburger, which were just okay (fries were a little stale for both, and the hamburger was kind of plain). The Albahaca cocktail was awesome -- good summer drink. Service was weird because our waitress seemed confused half the time, and the noise level was intense for 8pm.

We had a reservation at 8pm and 3/4 of us were there 7.55pm, whilst the last one arriving 10 minutes late. They did not seat us until 9pm. Not fun standing in heels at the door starving and barely being communicated with. I would've walked out if it wasn't for my friends wanting and needing to eat pronto. We were offered what the hostess called 'champagne' after 35 min wait, (surely wasn't anything close to champagne!!)... We were then offered a squashed table which had been avail for the entire time - but was 'saved for bigger companies'... we asked for the bigger table which was just cleared the hostess threw the menu on the table and said VERY sarcastic ' have a nice night ladies' and stormed off.

Loved the white tile/ French salvage furniture/ east end of London eel shop vibe in Schillers. You might expect the waitstaff to be snooty given that this place is such a hotspot but they are all cheery, polite and sporting excellent haircuts (natch.) My pal and I were placed in a lovely booth at the back (I love it when they allow a twosome to sit in a booth and don't squash you on to a tiny table just in case a party of four come in...) we shared a delish mac and cheese with bacon and a garlicky pile of greenness that was yum. Extra bread was proffered with a smile. I'd happily come back alone and sit at the lovely looking bar. Fab.

The food was good, however we had to wait 20 minutes for our reservation. The catch was 1/4 of the restaurant had open tables, so it was frustrating to have to wait. Once we sat down and ordered, we received our food within 9 minutes. This was a group of 4 girls on a Saturday night. Nothing bothers me more than when they rush you like that. If you are spending $30+ on a dining experience, you should be there for at least an hour.

We've eaten at Balthazar's when in New York many times. We couldn't get in this time and decided to try Schiller's. It's a different atmosphere from Balthazar's - smaller and more intimate. We had the mussels and frites which were fabulous and a stellar dessert. The waiter gave us good guidance on the wine/beer list. The food was good and the service was outstanding! So attentive and good humored! We felt as welcomed as locals might be dropping by for a nice meal. Schiller's has a young and cool vibe but it's not just for the young and cool. It was a fun place to dine and their attitude was a big part of that equation. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and a hearty thanks to the outstanding staff! at Schiller's!

i was there with two friends and a booth was requested, but was told that it is best for parties of 5 or more, but then 20 minutes later after being seated, the same booth that was requested seated three other patrons. What makes that group more special than the group I was with? keep the treatment fair and if there are no other reservations on the books and a booth is requested, I dont think it would hurt to provide it to those who ask.

We visited this restaurant and the name is a little misleading, they do have liquor but they have great food also. The fries are overflowing! The tables were a little uneven which was a little troublesome but definitely wouldn't deter me from going back.
