"I ate Dinner with my wife on Friday night , the service, food , and ambiance were great, Like the fact that there is a couple bars outside of restaurant made it easy to get a drink after the meal. A bit pricey but not crazy for downtown. Good spot for entertaining clients."

"the food at scarpetta has never been exceptional. however, a few items on the menu made it worth the trip to the restaurant; mainly the mushroom polenta and the spaghetti.unfortunately, even these two staples have become mediocre and uninspired.we will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon unless we hear that their food quality is improved."

"This is a high end restaurant. I had heard that the spaghetti was a signature dish and it although it was hyped up it did not disappoint. Unfortunately the table we had was in the back corner with high staff traffic which lessened our experience. We had asked to moved and were told a new table would be ready in 20 however they never came back to us. The service otherwise was good however I would not recommend this restaurant. Although the food was fresh and made with quality. It did not justify the price tags."

"The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to be very stuffy with an attitude. It was nothing that I expected and a very pleasnt surprise. The service was super with a server who was pleasant, informed and available. The food was FANTASTIC. An interesting combination of ingredients to bring together flavours that were perfect together. I had an out of town guest who commented on the fact that we were able to truly enjoy our meal that at no point did she ever feel rushed to get her meal done. While the dessert selection did not have have something that piqued my fancy, the cheese selection had something for every cheese lover. And the chuntney that acommpanied the individual cheese selections were exceptional."

"Our second Scarpetta meal was at least as good as the first. Knowledgeable, engaging and very accommodating staff. Great presentation, great food. A must-do for anyone interested in a 'one of the best of Toronto' experiences. And the Thompson bar always has a great buzz."
