  • "Went with my wife because she watches chopped and saw that it was owned by a chef on the show. The view is really nice of the Bellagio fountains. The waiter seemed annoyed that my wife asked if one of the appetizers could be a meal. We both ordered pasta and the dishes were small for the price but that is to be expected in Vegas. The bread was above average. I wouldn't go again with all of the other options out there."

I ordered the famous spaghetti, and it was just as amazing as the first time. The polenta with truffled mushrooms is a standout starter and the bread basket is to die for. We had a wonderful table that overlooked the dancing fountains at the Bellagio, so the atmosphere is fantastic as well."

  • "My partner and I ate at Scarpetta early (at 6:00, when the dining room was apparently just opening) before seeing a concert. We were wanting an evening of truly good (not just hyped) food, with a quiet ambiance, and could not have been more pleased. We were seated at one of the large bay windows that overlook the Bellagio's fountains. His jidori chicken was scrumptious, my fettuccine with lamb ragu lacked a bit for sauce and lamb but was otherwise a great quality, obviously handmade pasta. Wine selection by the glass was a bit lacking but we did find a nice Tuscan (the Valpolicella, at $17 a glass, should be skipped). Would definitely go again."

He prepped us for courses, refilled glasses of wine, was truly wonderful. More of a spot to come to with your significant other and have a romantic dinner. Food was lovely."

  • "I was solo and ate in the bar. I took a peak in the dining room that looked elegant and quite inviting. The bartender made a very good Manhattan and made a couple of suggestion regarding the menu. The only ding would be that the first course came out too quick. I would have preferred a little time to enjoy my drink. The creamy polenta with truffle mushrooms was to die for. She indicated it that it is in Scott Conant's cookbook and few would ever prepare it due to the fact that it takes 4 hours to prepare. Sooo smooth. I then had the duck and foie gras ravioli with Marsala sauce. Another great dish. Such interesting complex flavors. I'm going back with my wife and sit in the dining room. Can't wait!"

The service was outstanding and very respectful of our show tickets. We had an amazing view of the Bellagio and it's water show. And the food was beyond amazing! It was truly the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I can't wIt to go back again!"

  • "Scott Conant is one of my favorites judges from the show Chopped. When I found out that he had a restaurant in Vegas, I decided that I wanted to try it. I and my group were not disappointed. I had made an error when making my reservation (I made it for the wrong day), The entire staff was very accommodating in making sure that we were taken care of. Our waiter was excellent and made sure that we had everything we needed. I was just surprised that it was not busier."

  • "The only positive I have to say, is that the service was spot on. Aside from that, the cocktail list was mediocre at best (definitely trying too hard in theory and missing the mark in delivery), the pasta they are so known for was chewy, and the sauce was bland. The 3 bite plates were incredibly overpriced. And, cloches over everything? Really? Way overdone. I love Scott Conant, think his cookbook is fantastic, have been to one of his food demos and was really excited to eat at his restaurant. Unfortunately, it ended up being 2 hours and $200 I will never get back. Complete waste of time & money and a heartbreaking disappoinment. Likely the worst notable chef's restaurant I have ever been to. I don't recommend Scarpetta Las Vegas."

  • "Folks, fine dining in Vegas is not so fine-high end restaurants allow shorts and ball caps and all have the touristy casino vibe you are just eating a little better and paying a lot more. With this said, I had high hopes for Scarpetta and was disappointed. Birthday planned, no birthday attention- FAIL. Horrible inattentive service (we were left unattended for more than 15 minutes,could not order drinks)-FAIL. We booked a 6pm seating and were forced to wait to be seated for 15 minutes only to find the restaurant was almost 100% empty-FAIL. Heirloom tomato salad was great,pasta dishes were cold,soup was lukewarm at best, dessert of bombollini was like fair food. Our waiter talked like he was drunk.Avoid this place if you want a good meal."

  • "We went for a bachelorette party dinner and were seated at a nice corner where we oversaw the water fountain of Bellagio. The view could not been any better, so amazing. The bread and our appetizer Polenta were so delicious! We also ordered spaghetti and duck & foie gras ravioli, and were content. We wished that the spaghetti was cooked a bit longer, as the noodles were bit hard to chew, but the sauce was tasty. The service was superb, and we had a great time there. :)"

Wine list is large while the cocktail list is tiny. I was less than thrilled with this dinner and am deeply saddened as I love Scott Conant. I wouldn't go back."

The only mis step in the place is the use of hotel/ballroom chairs at some tables. They are out of place in an otherwise well designed space. Food and service - excellent - great bar staff - a lovely respite from the casino level. "

  • "We visit Las Vegas every year and like to try new restaurants. I had seen reveiws of Scarpetta on line and thought we would give it a try. We both ordered the market salad which came highly recommended online, but it was a huge dissappointment. Our main dishes where the Kobe beef and I had the spiced duck, these items paired with a great wine made up for the salad. I don't think I would return as I do like to try new restaurants. But, I encourage people to try Scarpetta. FYI 2 salads, 3 glasses of wine and 2 main dishes, our bill was just under $300. (No dessert)"

  • "I love booking with Open Table but this is the second time it has told me a later reservation was unavailable and given me a 6 p.m. dinner where the restaurant is COMPLETELY empty. In this case it worked out, since I was seeing a show later that evening. But I do like livelier restaurants. The food, I must admit, was delicious, if a bit overpriced (to be expected in Vegas). The standout was the polenta with mushrooms, which my husband luckily shared. I got the duck/f.g. ravioli and it was delicious, although I must admit to myself that I'm not much of a foie gras eater. I don't know if I would come here again based on price, but it was still a lovely experience for our anniversary."

The only minor knock was the service. It was inconsistent, good at times, felt like we were being rushed at times, felt ignored at times. Really good, and like most nice places on the strip, really pricey. "

  • "We booked dinner before a show! Service was excellent, food didn't take long, but most importantly....the food was excellent! I had their signature spaghetti dish - the best!! My boyfriend had the organic chicken...the most flavorful and moist chicken ever! For dessert we shared their Nutella Italian style donuts, served warm and not too sweet."
