Scarpetta - The Cosmopolitan of Las VegasOne of the bestThis was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was phenomenal, the service just about perfect. Great wine selections. Great view of the strip and fountains at the Bellagio. I will be sure to visit every time I visit Las Vegas.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMItaly in LVGreat service, one of the best dinners out ever! Even better than my Italian experice in Italy. You have a great chef and staff.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious Bday DinnerWhat a perfect evening. Our meal was amazing! Request a table by the window to see the Bellagio fountains.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMCourteous Staff and Delicious FoodWe really enjoyed our dinner at Scarpetta. They were very accommodating and understood the meaning of vegetarian. Even though I do not normally consume milk products, I sometimes make exceptions. The chef held the cheese from my roasted beets salad just in case which really showed that they were thinking about my selection and preferences. My husband was thrilled about the stromboli bread and there was even one without meat for me. I had the farro risotto which was delicious and he had the short rib agnolotti without horseradish, which he loved. Even though we did not partake in multiple courses it did not feel like we were pressured to order more food than we wanted to consume. The wine list was amazing, many varietals from Piemonte.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food but a little priceyIt seemed a little on the expensive side for some dishes, $23 for 2 scallops. Other than that it was wonderful. The food was delicious. We had a great view of the Bellagio fountains. the service was excellent.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat pasta (had black fettuccinigreat pasta (had black fettuccini w/ seafood) great pasta done right. all seafood tastes were present and easily discriminated, though the squid was a bit chewy. my wife had the jidori chicken with spatzle & fegato sauce- wonderful. Service was top notch and very informative and interactive making it one of our highlights. Would have loved to order small serving of Scott's spaghetti to try his pasta.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFood from HeavenBeautiful wine, a surprising bread basket, heavenly pasta, super yummy dessert. An excellent dining experience! Run to this restaurant!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Experience!Try the duck and foie gras ravioli and as a desert like the strawberry soufle! Ouha what a nice combination.
If you want to try more, try as a starter the beef short ribs... so delicious!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view, great foodExcellent view of Bellagio area including the water show. It has a modern looking style (as is anything in the Cosmopolitan) but has an elegant feel. The pasta was cooked perfectly and was the best I ever had. The polenta was as tasty as mentioned in other reviews. Also the Sheep Milk Ricotta Agnolotti was exceptionally tasty and rich.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMmyzteriouzlyGreat night of food with a great group of friends. The spaghetti and foie gras raviolli were a great start along with some palenta. The pork was a fantastic main course and I heard nothing but raves from others about their dishes.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe eat early by Vegas standardsWe eat early by Vegas standards (1800) so the restaurant was fairly empty. We had the spaghetti and outside of Italy, this was the best pasta I've ever had. We also had the duck Foie gras ravioli, octopus and squid, brazino, and strawberry souffle. Everything was truly excellent.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMNice romantic getawayThe restaurant has a small little entry, but opens up past the bar. It has a very nice ambiance, good music selection (not too quiet, and not too loud), and most importantly the food was outstanding. Service was great, our waiter actually recommended spaghetti--really! So we split an entree of spaghetti as an app (great recommendation), and our dinner, dessert, wine and coffee were all wonderful. The views of the Bellagio fountains at night topped it all off. Great food, service and special memories.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply amazing!Service was impeccable and the food was simply amazing - this will definitely not be our last visit to Scarpetta! Awesome!5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFoodradThis was one of four restaurants we ate at on a recent trip to Vegas. The ambiance is great and the service was excellent. The food was presented in a very appealing fashion - the first view tasted great. I would have given the food five stars however is wasn't excellent, just very good. The frito misto was a disappointment - the dish was described as a mix of vegetables and seafood. Unfortunately the vegetables had been "mirco" julienned. The result was nothing but deep fried batter with very little vegetable flavour. The seafood pieces were likewise very small (and very few - very difficult to taste. The squid and calamari starter was delicious. The food quality at Olive's. Julian Serrano and Mesa Grill surpassed our meal at Scarpetta's.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMloved itScott Conant is my favorite chopped judge...had to try it and he didn't disappoint.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGet the Chef's TastingWe had an incredible 6 course meal with paired wines. The chef even sent us out a copule of extra dishes to share! The Black Cod paired with Albarino was one of the best balanced dishes I have ever eaten. Also notable, the sushi appetizer, incredible. Our table overlooked the Bellagio fountain.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Dining Experience!I chose Scarpetta for my birthday celebration as I am a huge fan of Scott Connant on the Food Network. The food was truly amazing at 10 each dish, Pastas were truly like from Italy and the beet salad was delicious. The bread was the best ever and I really enjoyed our wine selection!!! Our food server was awesome, very knowledgable and honest and very helpful. I would highly recommend!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AM48erThe food is immaculate the dinnig view of the water show added the right amount of uumph that my birthday dinner celebration could ask for. The waiters and table staff were superb.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWowAmazing tasting menu. Multiple courses of exquisitely prepared and presented foods. From bread to dessert, each course was an amazing experience. Well worth the price.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMBest inTownWow I loved this restaurant!! The food was spectacular, the service was superb, and the view was awesome! I had the Halibut and my husband had the Pici, wow we were blown away. This is a definiate must if you are looking for get atomosphere and excellant food.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceWe had a beautiful meal at Scarpetta and the service was top notch. Kelli, Matthew and Luigi really took care of us and we look forward to seeing them again the next time we take a trip to Vegas.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMScarpetta came recommendedScarpetta came recommended so was eager to give it a try. We had an early reservation so the restaurant was still quite and seated promptly but the view from our table was under construction. Our waiter was very knowable about wine and its pairing. The entrees were a good size so additional sides are not needed. We had a reasonable bottle of wine and we were not rushed to finish. Give Scarpetta a try.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOur table of 5 really enjoyedOur table of 5 really enjoyed the night at Scarpetta's. Menu is expense-account prices and the mark up on wine is very high. But it's what you expect at the high-end restaurants in the popular Las Vegas strip hotels. Service was really a knockout.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest experience in VegasScott Conant is one of my all-time favorite chefs, and I felt compelled to indulge in the tasting menu with my girlfriend. We both loved the flavors and creativity behind the different courses. The chef prepared a few bonus dishes for us, and everything was beyond fantastic. We were also lucky enough to meet Scott after finishing our meal, which turned out to be the highlight of my trip. This was the best dining experience of my life and it was an absolute pleasure!5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Great View, Very NoisyOur meal at Scarpetta was delicious--the menu is creative, the service unobtrusive, the view amazing. One warning--it is a very, very loud dining room. The restaurant is geared towards large tables, with only a smattering of smaller "for two" set-ups. And the large tables were, for the most part, dominated by loud, heavily-drinking men. It was difficult for us to hear each other. The noise did not interfere with enjoying our food, but we definitely did not choose to linger over coffee and dessert. The creativity of the menu is definitely worth the volume. If you want a terrific dinner but don't like loud rooms, bring your ear plugs!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazingScarpetts is, without a doubt, my new favorite restaurant. I am a huge Scott Conant fan, so when planning our Vegas trip, I was excited about getting the opportunity to check his restaurant out. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. My husband had the simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and he loved it. I has the short Ron agnolotti and loved it. We splurged on chocolate care with a salted caramel drizzle and toasted almond gelato - amazing. I can't wait to look into Scott's other restaurants and plan accordingly. We even got a glimpse of him! What a great night.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMBellagio FountainsWe requested and were seated at a fountain view table and enjoyed the show at least 3 times. Excellent ambience and food.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDeliciousTerrific meal. Everything was beautifully prepared - fresh and creative. If we had a complaint, it would be the wildly expensive wine list. We're from Napa Valley, so the Vegas sticker shock limited our choices. Too bad because the meal was otherwise outstanding.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply excellentI had dinner with my wife and 5-year old daughter, and we celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. We had the signature tasting menu. Everything from the initial greeting to the dessert was just fabulous. The food was exceptional (except the 3rd item - pasta, which was ok), and the wine pairing was superb. The waiter, Roberto, even let us try different wines in addition to the recommended wine pairing, and all of his recommendations were spot on. The only issue, which occurred later in the evening, was that larger groups started to come in, and it did raise the noise level quite a bit. However, by that time, we were almost done anyway, so we really weren't concerned.
Overall this was one of the best eating experiences I've had in Vegas!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing meal!We had our best meal in Vegas at Scarpetta. The white asparagus soup and the short rib pasta were amazing. I love house made pasta. I will definitely return on my next visit.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are a Scott Conant fan...couldn'We are a Scott Conant fan...couldn't have been more pleased starting from the greeting to the final morsel of food!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMService and food was outstandingService and food was outstanding worth the money paid5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday treat foe a friendThis was my second time to Scarpetta, but way better than the first time! I went the first time for a special fund raiser for Super Storm Sandy and it was a tasting menu. The food was excellent but I prefer to pick my food, and I don't like duck. So that visit yet tasty was not all my choice. The choices I made this time were FANTASTIC!!! The San Remo was a great cocktail. The Creamy Polenta is heavenly. I had the Jindori Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed twice (took a doggy bag). FYI the reheated version was just as good and maybe better. My dessert choice was quiet different, the kumquat pudding cake. It was a unique and flavorful masterpiece! I will be back :)5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat finish to eveningAfter a show went to dine around 930. Had window seat watching bellagio fountains. Service was excellent. Had creamy polenta, yum, split spaghetti with my wife. That was ok I was expecting a little better since most reviews made a big deal about it. Then came the pan seared halibut, it was just amazing. I love fish, this was every bit of good as fish i would have in Hawaii. Desert we had the bombolini again amazing. Would go back in a second. Service was perfect.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMReally Good...but not GreatI was very excited to go to a nice romantic dinner with my husband during our last trip to Las Vegas. We ordered the chef's tasting menu at Scarpetta and while we both enjoyed our dinner, it didn't "wow us" for the money we spent. We loved the wine and the staff was super attentive and personable. The views of the Bellagio water show were wonderful. Maybe some other food options would have been better, but don't think we'll return given there are so many great options in Las Vegas.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful experienceWe had a wonderful experience here. We were early and instead of waiting for our table we sat at one of the little enclaves along the bar - perfect spot for three girls on a night out. The food was fantastic - from the bread basket to the beet salad to the fish & filet entrees we had. The drinks were also very tasty (we had the berry something or other... excellent!). The service was impeccable and we had a wonderful time. Definitely would return here on our next weekend to Vegas.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMPolenta and SpaghettiWhenever we find ourselves in NYC, Miami or Las Vegas, we try to make time to get to Scarpetta. My wife and I always share a Polenta and a Spaghetti as appetizers and then we order an entree that we haven't tried. This was our first chance to eat at Scarpetta Vegas, but our favorites (Polenta and Spaghetti) were identical to what we are used to. Awesome. This restaurant had a few different entrees on the menu than I had seen at the sister restaurants. We had veal and lamb and they were excellent. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here. It was the perfect atmosphere. Quiet, dimly lit and overlooking the Billagio fountains. Perfect.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Dining Experience in VegasIn my 50+ visits to Las Vegas over the years, Scarpetta will always stand out as my best dining experience. I took a client there recently and we enjoyed their signature tasting menu with the wine pairing...a wonderful 3 hour experience. I was especially (and somewhat sceptically) looking forward to the Spaghetti Tomato Basil course, which I had seen panned on a Food Network. "How could a simple spaghetti and tomato sauce be THAT good?" Well, it was THAT good as were the other courses. I consider myself to be an accomplished cook, but I left Scarpetta feeling that I didn't really know much about cooking. Congratulations to the entire Scarpetta team!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything is great. When we visit Vegas, we stay at the Cosmopolitan and always make a point to eat at Scarpetta. The service is fantastic, the ambiance is modern yet elegant, and the view of the Bellagio fountains is spectacular. The food is creatively done and delicious, and they get extra points for catering to vegetarians (like me) with a complete separate menu. I recommend the Creamy Polenta appetizer (still one of the best things I've ever eaten in Vegas, anywhere) and the Rosemary Umbrian Lentils for main course. And don't leave without trying the Nutella & Vanilla Creme Bomboloni. Do it!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMService was impeccable yetService was impeccable yet extremely friendly, food very good and innovative. Decor somewhat stark but beautiful. Great atmosphere until a table was filled with very raucus people next to us so conversation was sometimes difficult--but its Vegas and sometimes to be expected. The strawberry souffle was magnificent!!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMScott Conant has a great menuScott Conant has a great menu at Scarpetta!!! 2nd time to this location. Presentation creativity and taste unparalleled. Thank you for a great dining experience!!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMCulinary Dream! Our time at Scarpetta was a culinary dream! The wait staff were fun yet professional. The food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. And, the view of the Bellagio fountains was the cherry on top!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMHighly recommended! This place was absolutely perfect! We got a seat by the window with a gorgeous view of the Bellagio fountains and were able to catch the water show a couple of times. The service was impeccable, and the food excellent. I had the halibut and it was so great, and my husband got the spaghetti, excellent. We were in a rush because we had to catch a plane right after eating and we were able to have an appy, our meals, dessert, coffee/tea all within 1 hour, thanks to the awesome wait staff.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceThe spaghetti dish was absolutely amazing. The service was equally as good and our waiter answered all our questions about dishes on the menu. Would definitely come back!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe finest of diningScarpetta is an oasis from the frenzy of the Las Vegas Strip - a quiet, refined dining experience just steps away from the jangle of slot machines.
The food and the service are both beyond compare. The dishes are fresh, deeply flavored and perfectly balanced. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and spotlessly efficient. The only way to have improved the experience would be to have included a spa massage afterward!
This is one of those meals that you'll look back on a month from now and still savor - both for the cuisine and for the entirety of the experience.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMProbably the best ItalianProbably the best Italian dinner my wife and I have had in years. Stick with the pasta dishes and you can't go wrong. Desert was fantastic also.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were really blown awayWe were really blown away by Scarpetta. I went for a date night with my husband while in Vegas and it was the perfect spot. The view was awesome! Everything down to the bread basket was superb. My husband had the short rib pasta and I had the halibut - both were excellent. The wine list was huge and quite expensive, but the wine we chose was delicious. We ended the meal with the chocolate lava/molten cake..again, excellent. The only slight issue we had was the oysters, pre-dinner. We both thought there was too much mignonette on them. But, all in all, it was a fantastic dining experience and we would go back for sure.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDon't Miss It!Outstanding food and service. Our waiter was spot on with wine and food recommendations and was extraordinarily attentive. From beginning to end, it was one of the best restaurant experiences we've had.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA lovely meal with highlightsWe got to sit at the window that overlooked the Bellagio water fountains and found the ambiance delightful. The music was not too loud, and the downbeat techno/jazz was just the right note for the food. The service was very patient with this world backpacker who is used to eating local cuisine with her hands. They answered all my questions with great tolerance.
I highly recommend getting the creamy polenta with truffled mushrooms appetizer. I could have bathed in it. The crème brulè and white asparagus soup was good, but not exceptional. The spiced duck tasted like walking into a spice/tea shop, very complex. The chocolate cake had about 5 layers of texture in the mouth, very luxurious to eat.
Oh, buy the bottle of wine.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial place!Love this restaurant! The food is excellent. This is a very great place for a special occasion. This was my second time eating here and I loved it just as much.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
