A word from Scarpetta - Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Scott Conant, formerly of L’Impero and Alto, is at the helm of Scarpetta™, Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s Italian restaurant and an outpost of his recently opened restaurant of the same name in New York City. The restaurant features ocean and poolside views, a wraparound veranda as well as casual dining areas and a cocktail lounge.

Scarpetta regional menu comprises clean, crisp flavors prepared in layers to reflect the quality of locally sourced ingredients. Known for coaxing the most sublime flavors out of the simplest ingredients, Conant relies on Florida’s bounty of farm-fresh and organic produce to craft menus of surprising complexity.

To complement our wine list, there is a $30 corkage fee (per 750 ML) for two bottles and $70 for any additional bottle (per 750 ML).

  • "Had Tuna tartare for appetizer. duck and foi gras ravioli for entree. Both were amazing. The flavor was spectacular. The ambience was very romantic with low lighting and cozy tables. we dined inside instead of out on the deck. HIghly recommended."

  • "Our office celebrated the end of Tax Season with an outstanding dinner @ Scarpetta. Once they relocated us from an uncomfortable banquette to a table and chairs setting, all was well. The food was excellent and the service attentive. We've eaten at our FB restaurants, but this was our first time @ Scarpetta, but it won't be the last"

  • "Chose this place for my 50th birthday and boy was it a bad choice. It was like a nightclub the music was so loud. The food was ok, nothing memorable but I've never wished for a tasting menu to end as much as this one. Could have left after the first course but it wasn't cheap so we stuck it out. More of an endurance than a culinary experience."

  • "Exceptional food and warm, attentive service. We couldn't decide what to order so we gave up and went with the tasting menu. It was one of the better balanced tasting menus we've enjoyed."

  • "My sister and I celebrated our birthday by dining at Scarpetta. We were welcomed upon arrival with a happy birthday greeting and that they had been waiting for us! Carlos and his team treated us like queen's and helped with making our selection for dinner so easy. Everything was outstanding!!! Carlos visited our table throughout the evening to ensure everything was going well. The dinner was simply out of this world. We selected the four course menu which was delicious and were also surprised with a birthday dessert. This is a five star restaurant in our opinion and I know the Fountainbleau is proud to have them there. The whole experience was one we will never forget and I suggest make this your first stop in Miami!!!"

  • "It is all about the food and it was incredible. A memorable meal with such balanced flavors in every dish, the carpaccio and the octopus appetizers are not to be missed. The restaurant and the service complimented the food along with a nice wine list."

  • "Amazing food and service. We had a large group and they accommodated us. The food was amazing especially the squash blossoms, short rib appetizers. You can't go wrong with the duck pasta and the black cod. Also we had the Caramel dessert which was heavenly!"

  • "We waited for our table then were seated in bar area beside a family with 4 kids We were all dressed up and said we didn't Want that table We waited again and were finally seated In the dining room which was half empty with lots of tables We have dined in Hackasan many times And are treated royally"

  • "There is no disputing the quality and deliciousness of the food at Scarpetta. I have been and continue to be a Scott Conant groupie! The creamy polenta appetizer was heaven in a bowl! My one criticism is the noise level in the restaurant. In both the inside and outside. Music was way to loud! Originally the seater wanted to put us in a table right next to them and we asked to be changed. It didnt seem to matter just as noisy. Even when passing thru the interior dining room the noise level didnt change. The bar room seemed to be the only place for hearable conversation without shouting!"

  • "We took my mom to Scarpetta to celebrate her ninetieth birthday and it couldn't have been a better choice. The staff warmly welcomed us and paid just the right amount of special attention to the birthday girl, from recognizing her on entering the restaurant, a greeting card and of course the candle and script Happy Birthday with dessert. Also perfect was the food. Highly recommend the stracciatella with beet salad, gemelli pasta with rock shrimp, octopus, fresh peas and mint and superbly done lamb chops. We love Scarpetta in LA and were happy to see the Miami Beach post every bit as good."

  • "Went there for my fiancee's birthday and it was amazing, the service, food, cocktails and the ambience. Highly recomended for an special occasion or a romantic dinner."

  • "so noisy -like eating in a bad disco filled with trashy people while the food could have been good given the sensory and bad overload from the sights and sounds there was no way to taste and concetrate on the food"

  • "Really enjoyed the Top Chef tasting menu. Dominic was a fantastic waiter!"

  • "Food was excellent, nice selection of wine, atmosphere was nice, dinner service was slow. We had to wait 45 minutes for our table on a Thursday evening. Definitely would try again and hope service is better on second try."
    Dined on 3/20/2014
  • "The food was wonderful, and our server took good care of us, but the kitchen was beyond slow. It took way too long for a bowl of spaghetti with tomato sauce to take 30 minutes to appear after our appetizers.. No Excuses!!!"

  • "Fantastic meal. Lived up to reputation ! Tasty meal."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. It was the best meal we had in Miami all week, including many famous spots. Every item was perfection! The service was excellent."
    Dined on 3/20/2014
  • "The food was excellent, but if you are looking for pasta (or any semblance of traditional Italian fare) this is not the place for you. The staff was exceptionally down to earth, and attentive. The chicken was perfectly prepared with crisp skin--probably the best chicken I've had out, and I rarely order chicken. Deserts were good. All in all a very good experience."

  • "The restaurant is very good, the pasta with truffles was delicious, i could repeat one more time and more again, i recommend! The wine list is very good. Great place!"

    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "First visit to Scarpetta - the food was absolutely spectacular. Service professional and attentive. Nautical-themed motif a bit too darkly lit. The wine list was not impressive and way overpriced. Bring your own great bottle for a $30 corkage fee. Be prepared to deal with the "throng" entering and leaving the Fountainbleau!"

  • "Went to Scarpetta based on recommendation. Food was great (caramel budino dessert is a treat! Starters very good too) . Great choice of wine. However very noisy environment. Service was at the level you can expect in such environment."

The food was delicious, the ambience was beautiful and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening."

  • "Food was delicious!! Especially the polenta and the spaghetti!!!"
    Dined on 3/5/2014
  • "Everything was ok but not outstanding. When your bill is over 400$ for 3 people and we don't drink you have high expectations..."
    Dined on 3/11/2014
  • "Scarpetta is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The creamy polenta with truffled mushrooms just melts in your mouth. Everyone says to get the duck and foie gras ravioli so we did, even though I didn't love the sound of the marsala reduction. I was wrong. It added the perfect sweetness to the dish. This might have been my favorite dish. We also got the spaghetti, which was very good but I didn't think it was anything extraordinary. For our main dish we shared the Long Island duck which was so tender and delicious. The side of broccoli rabe was one of my favorite preparations! Highly recommend!"

  • "Brought long time friends for dinner and had Kenneth as our server. He navigated us around the menu with his usual flair. If you don't know what Polenta is or have never tried it, you have to have the appetizer with the mushrooms. Standouts were the Tuna Tartare, the always delicious Spaghetti with tomato and basil, and if you like mushrooms you must have the wild mushroom side order. It is so fantastic, could be a main course. Careful with the sommelier. they were out of a Meursault I wanted and he steered me into a different one for an additional $55. But the wine list does have a number of gems and the sommelier is knowledgeable."
