Scarpetta at Montage Beverly Hills
2009 Michelin Guide gave up on LAI guess they did not visit Scarpetta.
4 sophistic courses + 4 excellent wine pairing = one night in foodie heaven.
A special thanks to the very knowledgable Sommelier :-)
Looking forward to my next visit.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day brunch at ScarpettaMother's Day brunch rocks!! One of the best in the city of beautiful Beverly Hills!! :)5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTop fiveThis is one of my top five restaurants. They have the best service but most importantly the best food. One word: polenta. The best fish in my opinion. Well, to be fair, I am a vegetarian so I'm sure there are better dishes. But that is my favorite from my experience.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is always deliciousThe food is always delicious and the service is always excellent. I don't like polenta but I love the polenta at Scarpettas! I could come and just have cocktails, polenta and the wonderful bread basket!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDining with friendsThe restaurant is Beautiful. .5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been to Scarpetta inHave been to Scarpetta in Vegas and LA quite a few times, and each time it gets better. This was another great experience of great food, fabulous service and a wonderful experience overall. Do the tasting menu, totally worth it!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBest brunch. This is the best brunch anywhere. It's not cheap but it's great. The slow patched egg on polenta is heaven, as is the truffled eggs Benedict. These are both from the made to order list, which complements the only buffet I've ever admired. A buffet that includes freshly prepared Scarpetta spaghetti, which is a must have appetizer on the dinner menu, is heaven.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMMy experience here has beenMy experience here has been always good in terms of service. They know how to treat their customers what they are paying for. I've been here two times with my girlfriend, and the our server was very friendly although not as attentive as I'd wanted them to be.
As in terms of food, I ordered Herb fetuccini Carbonara, and aged sirloin of beef. Sirloin was marvelously delicious--not chewy, but soft and juicy. The grilled end of skin with savory sauce was a great mix of tastes. Along with the beef, there were some cooked veges on top which also kept my mouth busy with various flavors. Carbonara didn't seem to have too much of "guanciale" in the mix. It had too strong of herbal flavor and floury pasta that was a bit thick.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMmm, mmm, mmm!!! LOVE theMmm, mmm, mmm!!! LOVE the spaghetti and the divine bread basket. My bf had the sheeps milk and swiss chard raviolo and considering its $26 price tag, it appeared to be one giant raviolo when you'd otherwise want more. However, it still was delicious. Beautiful dining space - our table had a view out in the court yard. Also had a celeb sighting - Jerry Seinfeld was nearby. Impeccable service. Give Scarpetta a try!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service. Food was excellent.Great service. Food was excellent. We had the 5-course tasting menue, which includes dessert, so it's really 6 courses. Their spaghetti is amazing!3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMA+ restaurantWe were a party of 3 on Saturday, March 16, at 6:00. Request for a table in a quiet area was honored. From start to finish, this was an excellent dining experience. The food is pricey, but A+ quality, and extremely delicious -- quite gourmet. The ambience is extremely nice. I would return.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was excellent.Everything was excellent. The creamy polenta with fricassee of truffled mushrooms was amazing as was the roasted sea scallops with chanterelles mushrooms and spaghetti with tomato basil. Julie was our server and she was outstanding, just the right amount of attention. The decor is warm and while the restaurant is formal the atmosphere is relaxed making the experience very comfortable. One of my dinner companions from that night has already dined at Scarpetta's again and I will be returning soon as well.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waitress, Ashley, wasOur waitress, Ashley, was great and the sommelier's selections were spot on.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous...best service andFabulous...best service and food in a long while. Famous spaghetti continues to be worth all the hub-bub; short-rib agnolotti so delicate in appearance so full of delicious delectable flavor that others will want more than just 1 but you won't be willing to share (it is likely that any pasta here will delight!); black sea bream was delicious and very fresh tasting; save room for dessert if you can...the sweet/salty vanilla & caramel budino with two wonderful cookies was deelicious! Our server's name was Dan and he was wonderful! Anticipated our needs, ensured they were met, accommodated our requests, was courteous and professional. Now that's how we like it!1/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
