I had alerted them to the fact that it was a special occasion, and we were seated at one of their "private" tables that have curtains on all sides! That was a lot of fun in itself. The food was excellent, except for some seriously undercooked asparagus that I ended up taking home to finish the cooking. My husband had a baked pasta dish that was plentiful and delicious. My salmon was finished with lemon, artichoke hearts and capers, and cooked perfectly. The service was excellent despite it being a Saturday night. They surprised us with a beautiful and very tasty tiramisu for dessert, compliments of the house. The staff is always friendly and prompt. You can really tell that the new owners take pride in their restaurant. They've done an amazing job taking Scapa's to the next level. The service is outstanding. Our food was fantastic. They have a great wine list too. I love the fact that you can count on their consistency. It's always a home run.
