"We met friends we hadn't seen in long while for a casual dinner to catch up on old times. Scampi's was perfect... It was a very quiet Sunday night, so we grabbed a booth by the window. The service was excellent and the food was very good! One of our party had some allergies, so she really appreciated the gluten-free options. Nice wine list also. Spent almost 2 1/2 hours getting reacquainted, without any pressure. We couldn't have chosen a better place."

"Nothing special about the food. Not bland, but not flavorful in any way. Bread was disappointing, but the oil it was served with was good. Best part of the meal was the clams on the half shell. The fried calamari was greasy and flavorless. The zuppa de pesce had no complexity in flavor, not enough wine, not enough garlic. The best part about the zuppa was the large scallops, they were great and a good amount of them. The meal was generally forgettable and we wont be back. The place isnt terrible, just not great and when I spend money, I want great."

"We first tried this restaurant 2/4/12 and from the moment we walked in, could see this would be a positive dining experience. The server was both attentive and friendly while never skipping a beat with our order and requests, his suggestion of the fried cheesecake was dead on! Each of our entrees were prepared to perfection and the menu has something to please everyone."
