As expected, the food was outstanding. The service was on par. Our waiter's suggestions for our appetizer and dessert were great (the crispy sesame asparagus and hazelnut chocolate mousse). Arrive in the daylight/dusk for the view over the pond otherwise you might wonder where you are....and you don't want to miss dusk and the wildlife. We had the Fried oyster appetizer, a beautiful salad, the king filet, rack of lamb, decadent Mac and cheese, creamed spinach and the mixed berry cobbler served in an iron skillet. All super delicious. We had lots to take home....the portions are very generous. The whole evening was magical. Like going back in time and meeting old friends....we are still talking about it. A highlight of my visit from NYC....More
