There was only one other table with 4 people at it in the entire place. The food was outstanding and we had great service. I think the people of the Des Moines area are missing out on a great place for food and drink. Mid week, the restaurant was fairly quiet, the food was mostly good, and the waitress was really quite friendly.
My only complaint was that my lobster risotto was slightly crunchy. I was disappointed, but didn't want to ruin the experience that I was having with clients. My experience this past week was outstanding! My group ordered the cheese plate as an appetizer and had nice proportions with a couple new cheeses since the last time I visited. The bread was warm and we were given ample time to choose our main entrees. The entrees were superb and the best presented and tasting since I've been to Sbrocco, kudos!! To top the night off, the group shared a caramel bread pudding and sorbet that were divine!
