The service was splendid. However, we felt sort of rushed. We barely had finished a course when the next course was in front of us. It's also very difficult to hear the waiters explanations re: the food and/or beverage that was being delivered because of the noise lever. We all had difficulty understanding our waiter due to his accent which only added to the discomfort! Perhaps their rush was due to the size of the restaurant; not many tables and a large crowd tightly packed.
The food was tremendous, however, and we'll probably return.

Sbraga offers a fantastic four-course menu ($45). The portions are perfect--by the end of the four courses, you are perfectly satisfied and not too full. Each course presented creative seasonal options, combining unconventional ingredients that complement each other beautifully on the plate. Sbraga makes standard classics like meatloaf into entirely new and exciting dishes. Try the branzino for the second course and the hot chocolate mousse for dessert!

We had the pleasure of dining at the kitchen bar and it was a special experience. The food was exceptional, really exceptional. The quickly becoming famous Fois Gras Soup is original and not to be missed. The rest of the plates were carefully prepared and inspired. The 4 course meal allows the chef to pace the meal and the options are amazing. Strongly recommend, it is a step above the other fine dining claims in Philly.
