Café Sbisa, located in the French Market area of the Vieux Carre, was founded by the Sbisa family in 1899. It was amongst many restaurant and coffee houses in the thriving port and financial district of the old French city. Today, it remains as a symbol of the past, still serving excellent New… Orleans libation, as well as, classic creole cuisine.
Patrons at Sbisa will note that Chef Pedranti’s menu pays tribute to the classic creole dishes of New Orleans while giving a modern spin to the amazing southern dishes on the Gulf Coast. “Many of the great creole dishes that are found today in New Orleans restaurants began at Sbisa,” according to Pedranti. “As such, our culinary goal is to honor our historic roots with a modern disposition.”
