Private Party Facilities
: When it comes to private parties, no one does it better than Saucy Bistro. Choose from one of three spectacular rooms... The Garden Room or The Wine Room, both holding approximately 40 people each, and can be combined for a larger group. The Cellar accommodates roughly 100 people, and boasts its own private bar and fireplace. Our private party coordinator will work with you to create the perfect event. We believe that the little things are the most important things!

Unfortunately I ordered the Salmon dinner with a side of horseradish - which later on I was told they had none. So I ordered the Crab Cakes which I requested be on the same "dinner" (sides) as the salmon as I was not really interested in the sides that came with the crab cakes - also requested they still bring the horseradish. Was informed shortly thereafter - no horseradish. Then when dinner did come it was served just as on the menu instead of the sides I requested. The crab cakes were lukewarm - however the potato hash was very hot. The crab cakes were on the dry side as there was no sauce,but they had good flavor. My friend had the short ribs which she said were very good (tasty and served hot). Bittaker Salad was very good though.

Had a terrible service experience. Main waitress did her best but the other helpers ruined the whole evening of dining. Order stuffed peppers didn't come till the main meal was (which was very late in coming) ready. Told the head waitress to hold peppers and I would just take them homeafter the main meal. Another waitress brought them to the table on a plate, inform her that I was taking them home after main meal she brought them back dropped them in front of me in the box and say "there you go" and left, Had to ask for bread and refills They tried to refill the club soda glasses with water and just laughed it off, had to ask to get a new club soda. Hostess took the time to visit just about every table but ours. Will not go there again

We have been to SB Eighty-One before when it was Saucy Bistro. The menu is much improved. the Warm Mushroom salad was very tasty and the Filet Mignon was cooked exactly the way I wanted it. My wife loved the Veal Medallions. The Creme Brulee was very good as was the Butter Pecan ice cream. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on the wine list and the food.
We plan to return soon.

This is a nice place to eat dinner and there is a nice bar and lounge in the lower level if you want to party after. Great food but it took a little long for main course to come out for our party of six. I ordered the Tilapi and my wife ordered the surf and turf burger, cooked to order and tasted great. It took a little over an hour for the entree's to come out, but the waitress brought out plenty of bread for us to tide us over. Everything else came out in good timing as people ate. Other than that everything was great. It was perfect for our group of old friends to meetup to catchup during the holiday weekend. I would recommend this place and come back again.

Went for Thanksgiving; they had a mediocre buffet that was not very well stocked by the time we arrived (5 pm). The carved turkey breast was excellent but the prime rib was overcooked & dry; the salad was good. The rest of the buffet, including dessert, was forgettable. If we eat out again on a holiday, we'll go elsewhere.

Our food was good, but service was a little off. We had a reservation for 6p and the hostess was no where in sight - we looked in the dining room, in the bar, etc. and waited more than 5 minutes by the door until someone appeared to seat us.
When we were leaving, the hostess was missing in action again and we had to get our own coats from the dark, unstaffed coat check room
