SazeracThis place is consistentlyThis place is consistently great. While it always seems full, it is never too loud, the service is outstanding and the food delicious!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst, it is so nice to beFirst, it is so nice to be able to book a reservation through open table when visiting a busy city. I am glad that Sazerac participates in this service. We are new to Seattle and like to try different styles of dining. The menu, including the drink menu, was already quite interesting. However, we almost missed the best part! Turn the menu over and there was a prix fixe menu with lovely choices as well as perfect wine parings from Washington State. The dishes came out with perfect timing as the wait staff were quite knowledgeable. The food was delicious and we finished feeling quite full. Restaurant was a bit noisy. Not crowded on a Saturday night. Very enjoyable experience.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI had been to Sazerac forI had been to Sazerac for dinner previously and enjoyed it, so suggested it for lunch with a group including 2 children, and the staff was very accommodating and the food excellent -- both for the kids & the adults.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGood but nothing too excitingWe tried Sazerac for the first time for Easter brunch buffet. The service was outstanding and we had a party of 9. Our reservation was at 1pm on Sunday and there weren't many others dining at this restaurant. Not sure if it was busier earlier or not. The buffet was good and a nice selection including cedar plank grilled salmon, roasted game hen, roasted pork, chilaquiles (yum), creole eggs benedict, bacon and andouille sausage. I will preface this review saying we are foodies and although of these things were definitely good and filling, I wouldn't say great for the cost of fifty/pp. The dessert bar was very good! Although the service was outstanding, unfortunately, we probably won't be going back.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMNice find in business districtSazerac is a great place to go for a menu that can please a variety of different tastes and appetites. The food is reasonably priced, the environment is soothing and energetic at the same time. It looks like they have a great bar too - didn't partake. Great for business luncheons, dinner or for friends and family alike.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGood business lunchGood business lunch, friendly professional service. 4 of us were seated at a comfortable table in the back with a view of the open kitchen. Two of us had the Rotisserie chicken salad and it did not disappoint. Others had pulled pork and the salmon sandwich which they said were delicious, although a bit on the messy side, not a bad thing. We'll be back.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe took a work group of 11,We took a work group of 11, pre-ordered (giving the name that tied to each order), and the staff were ready with beverages and appetizers almost as we walked in, smoothly transitioned to the entrees, then desserts. All very efficient, not rushed. Delicious food and a very workable lunch outing for a group on a tight schedule. (Do plan for a little bit over an hour if you want to do the appetizer, entree, dessert combination. The staff can manage it in an hour, but you want to take time to enjoy the delicious food!)3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food & service, bright lightsMy husband and I went here on a date-night to try some new-to-us dishes and cocktails with a twist. The pictures online seemed to reflect an atmosphere correlate to that and the food & cocktail menus seemed enticing as well. We give kudos on our food (the date appetizer and roasted almonds were yummy, scallops with chorizo were delish), cocktails (Sazerac's namesake is perfected here), our server was genuine & knowledgeable, and dessert was divine. We loved everything about this place with one exception: the lighting. Aside from the booths along one wall, the whole restaurant is lit almost like closing time in a nightclub. Not exactly the intimate ambiance we had envisioned. We will be back in the future, but probably in a group of friends.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
