We had booked for 8 pm, but did not get seated until 8:15. Overall it was a great experience. Would come back again and also recommend it to others. It was my 3rd visit to the Stony Plain Sawmill, and it was the least favorite.
The first two visits were awesome!!
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, but very scattered in her duties.

The food was hot and fresh and they constantly kept it filled. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Both times were lacking in one way or another and we were left not sure if we would return. This time though, it was near perfction! My sirloin was cooked perfectly and was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. My fiancee had the prime rib which was also fantastic. We will definitely add the Sawmill Stony Plain back into our Friday night rotation! The brunch buffet at the Sawmill Prime Rib & Steakhouse was above and beyond every other buffet style restaurant I've been to recently. Must have a proof of the birthdate with you of course. My vegetables and meat arrived a bit cold and when advised server immediately removed and shortly returned with it heated up. It was all good.
