Service was professional (not too much or too little) and prompt (a lovely celebrator glass of champagne was brought almost as soon as we sat down), and the team working in the kitchen cooked each dish (he-rib eye, me fish) to the perfect degree of doneness. There was not one grain less or more than was needed on each component of the dishes and it was one of the few times that we have gone out and I not thought, "I could have done that better (and more economically) at home". I love to cook but there are times that I like to go out and taste someone else's work, which more often than not, is a disappointment. I avoid these because they are usally a glob of pasta; however, these were puffy with a good amount of crab in the center and a proper balance of pasta. There was also an excellent amount of a wonderful seafood broth with winter root vegetables. This was a wonderful winter dish with heavy vegetables and a ligth accompaniment of seafood broth and ravioli to create a perfect balance. The flight of flutes with bubbles made a great partner for this dish. Sop the broth up with the bread that comes straight from the oven.
