Every time I have been there I truly have enjoyed it. Paolo and his team there make it look easy but we see how much care and attention they spend. Every dish has benn consistently great.

It is unassuming from the street, but once you step in the door, the warmth and charm of the restaurant come alive. The food was some of the best Northern Italian cuisine I have ever had, including restaurants in Italy. I started with the grilled octopus and asparagus appetizer which was the best dish I had during our long weekend in NYC. All the dishes, including my niece's pizza (baked in a wood fired oven), were wonderful and you could tell that the proprietor takes great pride in what he offers and what he is doing.
