Diner Reviews
  • "During this event, my husband and I enjoy dinner at Savor. The food was perfection and the service couldn't have been better. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable, and always had a smile! He made the evening memorable. "

  • "Always impressed with this new restaurant at Klyde Warren. We enjoyed our brunch, the french toast was a little too sweet for our liking but others may enjoy it. Everything else was great!"

  • "Savor provided a great experience for my birthday celebration. The menu offered many delicious options, the drinks were inventive and reasonably priced, great wine list. Definitely will go here again!"

  • "This is a restaurant that always amazes. Great menu and fun desserts. The desserts are small portions and one can sample different choices. Awesome patio and great view of Klyde Warren Park."

  • "Overall experience was 99/100! My only issue was the portion size for the scallops, which really is not a serious mark!"

  • "Savor is a beautiful restaurant with a very nice patio right on the park. Unfortunately the food is bad. Perhaps it Would be best to just have a drink here."

  • "Our party could not get a reservation until 9:30pm, but it was definitely worth the wait! The combination of the Dallas skyline, Clyde Warren Park, outstanding food and service formed quite a memorable experience for our first visit. Seeing Linda Gray of the television series Dallas there was just a plus!"

  • "This restaurant is awesome--the food, the service, and the ambience. If you can snag a patio couch or chair, it is an incredible view of downtown Dallas at night, and as a bonus you can hear the music in Klyde Warren Park. We will be returning here, especially after our visits to the Dallas Museum of Art."

  • "The setting is really wonderful on the park. The food and service, however, were terrible. Our waiter brought the wrong order for my husband, so my food was cold by the time they brought out his. My scallops were ok, but I was trying to eat slowly so we could eat together and hey got cold quickly. His pork chop was very underwhelming and bland. Dessert is great as they are small servings for $3 each. That was good and the perfect size. After the food mixup, they took dessert off the bill, which was nice, but a little comical as It was a total of $6 in our $100 dinner that was not what we ordered and caused us to eat at different times! It's a shame, because the setting is great. I'd go back for drinks or maybe dessert, but not for dinner."

  • "My husband and I had lunch at Savor. Although we had a reservation, ti took them five minutes to seat us. Once seated, another 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server, Sara. Drinks were ordered, but after about 10 minutes I finally inquired about them and got a snippy reply that she had three other tables she was helping. Our salads were good, but the rest of the menu only seemed to have high-fat items as choices. We probably won't be back."

  • "sat outside and table overlooked Klyde Warren. Fun to see all of the activity. Ate same entree as last week but was not as good this time. Service seemed distracted."

  • "Love the menu, the food, the preparation, the energy, the presentation. Really loved this place. Creative menu and I'll be back. The only oddity was that I ordered red wine by the glass. Big bold cabs were served chilled. Why? They only keep the wines poured by the glass in the chilled compartment. To get room temp reds, you have to order by the bottle. Odd."

  • "The food was great; our group was very pleased. Our server was a little slow on getting our appetizers out but once he did, they were great. I would definitely go back to this restaurant. The windows on a beautiful day added to the experience."

  • "A yummy brunch place with a great atmosphere. And you can't beat the location overlooking Klyde Warren Park. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable and helpful which added to our enjoyment of Savor."

  • "The online menu did not match the one presented to me when I arrived. I was disappointed to find the only vegan option was salad whereas I expected other options. The chef was accommodating and put together a pasta dish with marinara. It was delicious, but again, I was looking forward to the quinoa dish I had seen on the menu posted on the website. I just wish there had been one vegan option besides salad on the menu I was presented. The menu was very meat-centric, so I will choose another place in the future. The waiter was cute and that made the experience more worthwhile, though he didn't seem to be appropriately dresssed wearing some neon green tennis shoes. There was no wait, valet parking was complimentary, reservations where easy."

  • "Great food and great view of Klyde Warren Park. So excited to have a restaurant of this quality in such a happening spot. The quality of the food was high and service was attentive without feeling rushed."

  • "Only had appetizers. The Brussels sprouts were really heavy handed on the balsamic....what really stands out is the view out onto the park."

  • "The lobster puffs were good (5/serving $14), the calamari was a larger serving but just ordinary. Entrees ordered in our foursome; salmon; good but small, scallops; good but only 3/serving $24 expensive, braised ribs w/mac 'n cheese was the best tasting & best value. The atmosphere of the restaurant is superb & worth the entire visit; floor to ceiling glass makes you feel like you're dining outside with the comforts of inside overlooking Klyde Warren Park. Easy walk to ATT Performing Arts Center."

  • "Savor is the wonderful restaurant that brings fine dining to the new Klyde Warren Park, a green space built over a freeway that divided uptown from down. This essentially "glass box" building provides expansive vistas of the park, and the outdoor seating areas meld seamlessly to the indoor dining room. Service is friendly yet professional, and on two occasions we visited the food was outstanding too. Cocktail selections are interesting and varied. The lobster cheese puffs make for a delectable starter, though the deviled eggs are excellent too. Great salads, and on each visit I couldn't resist the scallops, perfectly grilled, and most recently served on a vibrant bed of fresh and pureed peas. Highly recommended."

  • "We were seated on the south side of the restaurant right next to the kitchen where the servers go in and out constantly. The table was not set up and there were several tables in the main dining room available, but I didn't say anything. My mistake. The food was wonderful, but the waiter was really slow, got mixed up several times on the order. There were at least two or three instances during the evening when our conversation was interrupted when silver ware, trays, etc. crashed to the floor from the waiters going back and forth out of the kitchen area. Food was great as always and the salted caramel dessert is worth it. I will give Savor another try, but I will never sit in that booth again."

  • "Celebrating my double nickel birthday. Had a blast because of Mary Frances our server. She was beyond exceptional !!! GM sat our party and came by a few times to chat as well. Nice touch. Portions a bit small for the price was our only complaint."

  • "Location & vibe of restaurant is great. The food is really just mediocre. The mini desserts were amazing but that is really it. I would go back for a cocktail or dessert. Prob not again for dinner though."

  • "Like everything about Savor except beer selection. They really need to expand the selection of local craft beers. Good god, their seasonal selection as a Sam Adams."

  • "We were attending the opera & opted for an early meal. The front part of the restaurant was extremely "vibrant," but the dining area was more sedate. We asked our waiter to please help assure that we weren't rushed & he did so without us feeling hurried or short-changed. Everything arrived in a timely manner, & our entire meal was as enjoyable as it was delicious, helped by the view/people-watching, which was fantastic (The restaurant sits in a glass box on the edge of a park.) A pleasant & delightful surprise & experience. We would highly recommend it."

  • "This was our first visit, and we thought the menu looked great -- had several items we would come back to try! We each ordered something different, including the mini desserts, and enjoyed all of them. Would definitely come back, as well as recommend to friends."

  • "I was a bit underwhelmed and confused as to all of the hype of this place. The food was fair, but service was attentive and it's a beautiful restaurant. We may try this place again for lunch, dinner just didn't do it for us."

  • "The food was fantastic. The variety was excellent to choose from, the presentation was spectacular and the taste was magnificent. We would definitely return and recommend this restaurant. In addition, with the restaurant being all glass, it made the dining experience terrific."

  • "3 of us attended a business lunch there and it was a perfect place for it. Noise level reasonable, service good but not hovering, creative menu for all tastes, and small desserts made everyone feel they could order one and still walk away from the table without feeling bloated."

  • "Hi, I am from out of Town this was my first time at Savor. There is nothing I would change !!!!!! The Bar was friendly, comfortable and the staff was very quick and pleasant. Then came dinner.........Everyone was so attentive to us and our waitress was so great and personable I asked her if she would like to sit with us. And the FOOD well - our party of four had the short ribs, pork chop and scallops ( oh and the fabulous lobster poppers) It was served wonderfully and I don't know who the Chef's are but don't ever loose them. We'll be back to try more dishes. Whoever is running this place knows what their doing. - It was definitely a night to remember for a very long time. Thanks, Andrea"

  • "Loved the location and beautiful outdoor ambiance. We arrived at 5:20 and had to wait to be seated until kitchen opened. Then they forgot about us and we had to remind them at 5:35 that we wanted to sit down. They weren't busy either. Just standing around chatting with each other. Once we were seated we had great time. I was disappointed we couldn't have sandwiches or entree salads for dinner. Only small dishes and expensive entrees available for dinner. Small Chopped salad was mediocre. Crab cake appetizer was excellent. I'll go again, but not for dinner. I recommend lunch and cocktails. Brunch available, as well."

  • "I enjoyed a business dinner on a rainy evening and the glass walls made it feel like we had a patio table. Food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. We stayed a bit long, well very long, at the table discussing business and the table needed to turn. The manager offered a drink at the bar as a subtle way to move us from the table. What a class way to handle that issue. I really appreciated his approach and will be back. Next time I will be mindful of the time so he can attend to other demands of running a first rate restaurant."

  • "Food was very good on my visit. Service, including valet parking upon arrival, seemed spread too thin at times. Ask for table along wall facing downtown to get the view of the park and downtown."

  • "I had a business meeting during lunch. The noise was a little louder than I would have preferred but not so bad we couldn't hear each other. The food wa outstanding. I had grouper and it was very good. Our waitress was very attentative to our needs. I think her name was Christina. I would definatley recommend Savor. The location at the Klyde Warren Park is beautiful."

  • "Please put their menu on your site. I was disappointed by their brunch offerings. ONly 2 dishes that were breakfast/brunch like--the rest seemed to just be lunch items. They didn't even have English Breakfast Tea!"
