A word from Savor
Savor is an American gastropub. The focal point will follow true to the concept of gastropubs, where the focus is quality of food, but will be refined with creative offerings, in a Fun and energetic environment. The menu is designed to offer meals as wholesome and fresh as they are appetizing, artistic expressions.

In addition to enjoying the regional and international influence present throughout the menu, guests may complement their meals with selections from the wine bar. The wine bar offers and impressive and navigable list of wine by the glass or bottle, as well as signature cocktails, and micro brewed beers.

  • "There was a hair in our lobster puffs. The waiter just apologized. we ordered fries instead and then was charged for the fries when our original appetizer had hair. We spoke to someone at the front who seemed not to concerned. Note: there is a chef who has a long beard, just check your food. They made it seem like it was ok."

  • "We like to take out of town friends to Savor to showcase Dallas' Arts District and cool vibe. Food is delicious (not too $$) and the glass walls are spectacular -- great views of downtown and all the action on Klyde Warren Park. It's fun to have a drink on their patio while waiting for a table, especially if there's a performance on the Klyde Warren stage. We'll go again!"

  • "Loved loved loved the setup here. We sat outside and was so pleasant to sit outdoors there and overlook Klyde Warren Park. Service was PHENOMENAL and the best part was their mini dessert menu. Delicious. Would have wanted more local beers from local Dallas breweries if I had my choice. But that's minor. Overall a wonderful experience!"

  • "The food is always great but this was our first time having dinner at Savor. We find the lunch menu more creative. The Captain's wine list is short but very interesting with varietals you rarely find on a restaurant list. The food was great. The atmosphere on a Saturday night was someone disruptive with visitors to the Park running in and out of the restaurant. Did we say the food was great? It is a top 5 restaurant in Dallas in our view."

  • "High on ambience Attentive Waitstaff Tuna Tartar - As expected however, the presentation was thoughtless Crab Cakes - Exceptional! Savor Chopped Salad - Great. Mixed Green Salad - Sweet peaches...sparsely portioned Bavette Steak - Outstanding! Roasted Salmon - Mediocre. The smoking and bourbon cure were almost undetectable Shrimp and Grits - Great concept, good flavor, presentation was a bit disheveled Braised Short Rib - A real winner. Perfectly prepared Salty and Sweet Pudding - Light, creamy and flavorful The Fried Pie - Disappointing, heavy, flavorless The basil ice cream made the save Creme Brûlée - As expected Well executed Oooey Gooey Cake - Magical!   • "This was the fourth time we went for lunch and have "Savored" our various choices each time. Their soups have been great especially the tomato-basil and their burber is outstanding. The device has been impeccable.The scenery of the adjacent park is pleasing and a great place for the children to run off their energy following their meal. Thumbs up!"

  • "The food was savory but flawed service & presentation. My salad game to the table minus dressing & the pecorino cheese. My husband asked for his steak medium & it came out rare. My fish was undercooked and again undercooked when reordered. No one seems to be checking things at the pass before it comes out. We noticed that the food was brought out by someone other than our waitperson. This also means that every course came with a "who ordered". The manager did comp the salmon and flooded us with free desserts - 6 desserts for 2 people! Warning,if your table is near the bar area you won't be able to hear yourself think. The waitress was also confused about which wines came by the glass and which were unoaked."

  • "We had a reservation for 8:30 and arrived at 8:15. Long story short, we were not seated until almost 10:00. No one communicated any delay to us, and we had to keep asking. The hostess basically said she "couldn't promise anything"every time we asked when we'd be seated. What is the point in making a reservation???!!!"

  • "I have been here several times, and loved it, this evening was a different experience. We were a table of 4 and our waiter did a wonderful job..at first. After our food came out, he practically vanished and we waited for nearly an hour after our plates were empty for plates to be cleared, and a check to be offered. Which normally if my company is good I don't mind but this was a week night and it was well after 10 and I have to be at work early. Secondly, a fellow diner found it important to not only bring their dog INSIDE the restaurant but also to let it sit on the booth and have site lines of the table, BARKING at passing humans. I am a huge dog person, but if I am inside, I don't want to share my dinner experience with your dog."

  • "I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to try Savor. Last week was that time and it was absolutely perfect! Seated outside sipping perfectly chilled Sauvignon Blanc recommended by the GM and from one of the numerous wines available on tap at the bar. Like! Next were cornbread crab cakes. How do they make cornbread fluffy? The crab cakes are large enough to share and not too large to fill you up. The braised short rib literally flakes apart. Soft and perfectly prepared, surrounded by Mac n cheese. Wow. The mini desserts are also perfect to share and taste a few things. My favorite of the six we tried, goat cheese pie w basil ice cream. Yes, you read that correctly. The chef changes the fruit in the pie seasonally. Go to Savor!"

  • "The restaurant was very nice. We sat at the bar until our table was ready. While at the bar, the bartender made great drinks and was very professional. The black male host whom came to the bar to seat us at our table was not professional at all. The host had very little to say to us but was over the top with facial and hand dramatic gestures to the bartender to cut off our drinks as he moved us to our table. For a very nice restaurant, pretty good food and drink, the host should be provided with additional training or nixed due to his lack of professionalism and immature nature."

  • "We really enjoyed eating at Savor the night before seeing a musical at the Wyly Theater. We were seated at a table overlooking the park. The cocktail menu was interesting - and the cocktails themselves delicious. We ordered the Lobster Puffs as an appetizer and ooed and aahed at how delicious they were. For an entree, we chose the fish of the day, which was perfectly cooked. What was truly unique about Savor were the mini-portions of desserts. We chose three between the two of us. They were the perfect portion size and each one was delicious. You could come here just for dessert and cocktails and have a memorable evening."

The building itself is beautiful, but we felt like the design inside was a little bit generic and could have had more personality. The food was excellent and our server was amazing!   • "My wife and I live in Frisco, so we actually planned to go to this place because it's about 25 miles from our house. I had the braised ribs and my wife and a salad and calamari, overall the food isn't memorable, but the layout of the restaurant itself is very nice. I love restaurants with large windows so that was one thing that stood out for me. Service was ok, not great, when my wife asked how the crab cakes were plated, the waitress really couldn't explain, and just said "it's three crab cakes in a plate", not very descriptive. I would probably go again for lunch just to give this place another chance, but never for dinner again."

  • "I'll start off with the problem, because the food can stand by itself. It's that good. However, this place will lose a ton of business if the male hostess who was working Saturday night on June 28th continues to work there. I not going to sugar coat it. He was horrible, rude, mean, disrespectful, you name it. He had people with reservations waiting over 45 minutes for a table, but he was sure letting people who he thought was cool enough to be seated first. If we all wanted stuck-up, snooty, rude, arrogant hostesses at restaurants, we'd all move to NYC. This is Dallas, Texas, nobody likes that type of treatment here. We know better."

Great cocktails - had one with honey lavender. Mini desserts were yummy and fun to try a few. Bill ended up being over $100 so I would likely just go back for a cocktail and dessert next time"

A custom cover sheet had been added to our menus and the staff all wished us happy anniversary as we were seated. The service was exceptional and the food exquisite. I would recommend Savor to everyone. Romantic for couples, friendly for families, outdoor seating available next to the park. Just a perfect place in Dallas."
