Day or night the view of downtown is a plus especially if entertaining out of town guests. We went on a weekend night and it was hoppin'! Food was fantastic except for the pasta special that was disappointing. Also, I have had the lobster puffs cooked thru and runny? Never know what to expect with that appetizer. Savor definitely has a good coolness factor for adults.

Savor is a great restaurant in the middle of Klyde Warren Park. It is Dallas's own "Tavern on the Green". Dropping by for a beer or glass of wine in the afternoon on a nice day in Dallas is a treat. The food is outstanding and the wait staff is top notch.

Love the outdoor dining area, but you still feel outdoors on the inside with walls of glass. Tuna ceviche and roasted okra were standouts. Our steak was not prepared medium rare as ordered, but our server quickly apologized, prepared a new one that was perfect. Manager also apologized and gave us a complimentary dessert.

Great location & all glass walls provides great park & downtown view. Food was good, server was excellent - just wished they hadn't seated us right in front of kitchen prep station when rest of reataurant was empty. Would call it kid friendly but since they put us in front of prep station with kids - I can't

Savor has possibly the best location in Dallas, but is consistently let down by inconsistent service. You hope to get an impressive meal to match the impressive view, but after Saturday night at Savor, they won't be getting another chance from me. It's the little things. Appetizers came before drinks. Waiting staff who mumble under their breath when serving food. Trying to get our server's attention took an act of congress. Sugar didn't arrive with coffee, then when you ask for it, it arrives 15 mins later and your coffee is cold. First world problems, but in a city with options, Savor has lost it's edge, and the view is not good enough to tip the balance over inconsistency.

Five of us enjoyed a feast for a birthday celebration. We shared the spicy calamari and shrimp, tuna tartare, and fried ricotta. All were delicious! The seasonal salad was beautiful and full of flavor. My hake was perfectly flaky with exceptional taste. Lobster macaroni and cheese is sinfully delicious! We sampled all six desserts. We each had a favorite! Thank you to Adam for our excellent service

I was excited to try Savor as it's in a great location. However, I was very disappointed. I feel the food was too expensive for what you got, and even though the restaurant wasn't very busy while we were there, the service was not good. It was as if our waitress though her job was done once she took our order. My drink glass was empty for many, many minutes, and I had to specifically waive down our waitress to get a refill. We also waited about 20 minutes after eating to get our check, again, having to waive down our waitress. She never checked once our food was delivered to make sure everything was ok. I don't think we'll ever go back.

A very special treat for someone who doesn't get to Dallas very much. The food was delightful and luscious. The service was impeccable, we were treated like royalty. I had a wonderful farro salad. Besides the perfectly cooked farro, the basil mint viniagrette was outstanding. Happily, it comes on several other dishes on the menu. The serving was huge so I could take some home. I will definitely order it again. I only wishe it was served on a real bed of a good lettuce. It had one sad piece of iceberg hidden under the salad. He had the Seafood Roll - like a lobster roll but with the addition of shrimp and lump crab. It was good but not as well seasoned as others he has had, and he felt there was too much dressing. Service was very attentive.

The best thing about Savor is where it is. One of the few healthy things on their menu is the Farro Salad which they were out of. The service was average at best. The waiter was hard to find and didn't check on us regularly. This is the most wonderful location. Please fix the menu and the service....

I would go back for drinks on patio w/salad or dessert. The dessert sampler was good, the salads were good but polenta croutons way over-salted on the kale salad. However the anchovies on the Caesar were to die for! Ironic because the main dishes had no flavor at all - could have benefited from some of that salt! Scallops came beautifully presented with a variety of sauces, all of which were unidentifiable and flavor-less. Husband's roast chicken equally 'meh'. Great view, great place to hang out pre-theatre and people watch, etc.

Good food, beautiful view of the park, and attentive service. I eat lunch, dinner, or at the bar regularly and always enjoy myself. My one complaint is that there are usually one or two really good menu items not available. I can understand once in a while, but this is an ongoing thing. Maybe the restaurant can focus a little better on the ordering in the future. I hope the place is there a long time.

Unfortunately Savor is nothing more than a pretty face-- beyond that there is no substance. The location is stunning and the wait-staff nothing less than charming-- although the greeting/host staff was a little rough. The appetizers-- lobster puffs resembled State Fair food-- and the Tuna Tartar-- was odd. While dinner was attractive and portions normal size (not American but European) it was bland and tasteless. Overall, underwhelming experience. The wines although casked--were hit and miss the Malbec, was served at the right temperature-- the Rose was not interesting even to the unsophisticated palette. If you want a pretty view and dessert-- great-- but food- meh.

Upon checking in the hostess could not find our reservation. When she finally found it she said our other guest had already arrived. When we were brought to the table, the guests at the table were not our guests. Was our table given to someone else?? We were then told we would have to wait because our party was incomplete (but so was the table they tried to seat us with!) moving on... Our entrees were dropped before our settings and the ham in my crouque Madame was ice cold. So the pregnant lady had to watch everyone else eat while they remade it. The only reason we would ever come back is go use the valet to go to the park, but at this point I think we would rather just pay for parking.

This was my 3rd visit to Savor and the 1st for dinner. I will definitely keep it on my list of favorite spots. 3 of us shared the calamari and the lobster puffs. The calamari was said to have shrimp in it but they were scarce but it didn't matter. Two split the Wagyu steak special & the 3rd had the short rib. All were excellent. Wine matched perfectly with the flavors and the wallet. An overall fine meal.

Location at Klyde Warren Park is exceptional. Food was a huge disappointment. We ordered the special - a large steak that was mediocre at best. Asked for bread- no, they don't serve bread. Asked to have the 20 oz steak split, no, we don't do that. service was slow and inattentive. We live in the neighborhood and there are lots of choices for dining out. Savor won't be on the list.

Almost every table is on or near a window and patio seating when weather is good looks fantastic. Most tables on the window are for 4 people, so if you have more you will likely be near a window but not on it. Food was really good, but my friend got a dish that was overcooked, but when sent back and a new one came out it was perfect. So great friendly service and overall a great place to go.
