With 2 small children, this was our first chance in months, with grandparents visiting, to go out on a "date". Our first time at Savini. Food, service, ambience excellent. Only thing, which is minor, is that their front entrance leads directly into a small, high-traffic corridor with waiters zipping back and forth. We actually thought we had gone in the wrong door until a hostess asked us for our reservation. Between the friendly and attentive staff and the delicious food, you can't go wrong. While the menu is Italian, with great escarole soup, eggplant rollatini and pasta, I also loved the grilled salmon with the perfectly seasoned dijon sauce.
