"Saul is a Michelin star restaurant in Brooklyn that serves a mostly local clientele. They know a gem when the find one. The tasting menu is a good value but this time we ate ala carte as there were some specials we wanted to try. The food is delightful and the service is top notch."

"Our second visit. We arrived with 2 bottles of wine (corkage $25 per). The server brought out glasses immediately. The wine service was very attentive. Saul has a limited menu with more fish then meat (FYI). Check the website. We didn't order dessert, but were comped one for the table. Nice gesture. Cost for 2 was $150 all-in.
The food was outstanding, as was the service. If you're headed to Saul, you know the type of place this is, so don't expect hugh portions. I thought the short ribs could have been a little larger.

We'll be back. By the way, if anyone has the British Airways Visa, you'll get a $50 deduction/adjustment on your credit card statement. That will reduce our meal to $100."

"If the food is 5 stars but the decor is 3 stars, shouldn't the price be 4 stars? The price was a little high, but the wine list was less expensive than you would expect to pair with the exceptional food at Saul. So I guess the bottom line is that I would go again, and often."

"Saul is a nice restaurant with good food but I was a little disappointed. To start with I had made a reservation at 8pm andmcalled tomsay we would be half an hour late. I was told our table would be held for us but when we got there at 8.30 our table was not ready and we did not get a word of apology. So the six of us stood in the middle of the resataurant for over 5 minutes. Our table was finally set but the space is so limited that the waiters had a hard time walking behind me and Imspent the entire time having people kick my chair. It was also very loud in there.
That being said, the service was good and so was the food. It is probably best to go during the week when it is less crowded."
