Sascha'sWonderful meal in a wonderful placeWe were visiting from Philadelphia and wanted to try someplace nice in an interesting neighborhood. Sascha's fit the bill perfectly. The service was excellent--our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, but didn't intrude. All of the staff anticipated our needs well, but didn't hover.
The scallops and filet were both excellent. Portions were just right.
During our visit, a collection of strikingly beautiful masks of famous musicians hung on the walls, imparting a dynamic energy to the place. The overall vibe was professional but friendly and casual. We recommend highly.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful experienceDelicious food, wonderful service, and nice atmosphere. Small plates were fresh & flavorful, favorites included the pork carnitas tacos, the cheese plate, and pea ravioli. The drinks were interesting with fresh ingredients - I recommend the cucumber martini and The Bark. Ruby, our sassy waitress, was there at the right time to keep our relaxing meal moving along. A real gem!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDoing it rightI took my mom here for a pre-mother's day dinner. She loved her meal -- scallops. Everything we had was excellent. The cocktails, the appetizer, meal and the free carrot cake we got from the super nice server! She had forgotten to put in a refresh on my cocktail and brought the cake unprompted. It wasn't really necessary but I think that's pretty awesome customer service. I will definitely be back!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFunky , Fun!Fun atmosphere, quiet tables even though the tables are close together. You never felt like one table was on top of another. The funky breadstick and olive/pickle offering was delish. Signature drinks were tasty and the taste plate meals were exceptional. The crab beignets were out of this world!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant Dinner at Sasha'sTwo of us enjoyed a dinner at Sasha's from the small plates menu. All of our choices, including crab cakes and bison sliders, were nicely prepared and presented. Service was attentive and friendly.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGood TapasShare the tapas with friends. Highly recommend the crab sliders and the fried green tomato salad!!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatThe food & service was great. We went on Saturday night. It was all great!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFlower show............Sat at the bar...had the calamari, chicken tacos and Signature burger with cucumber martinis. Excellent !5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNoise at Sacha'sThe noise level is too loud! It is good for a BAD date but otherwise, difficult for good conversation. This should be corrected, especially since it is by the Peabody where sound, music and acoustics are a must!Waitress was overly busy which meant that she could not be allowed to show the customers the proper level of politeness.....it was not her fault....she was overworked!4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMSascha's food was over theSascha's food was over the top. Ambiance great as well as service. Cocktails very expensive.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMwe enjoyed our dinner.. Servicewe enjoyed our dinner.. Service was good and food was good too..my only criticisms are: the soup trio was not that great. The mushroom soup was the only one we liked. And the tacos were too spicy for me, but not my partner. The beinnets were amazing and my cocktail of the menu was also very good. And the calamari was okay. It was a little dark for my taste, but my partner found it pleasing.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMI really liked the ambianceI really liked the ambiance of the restaurant. The service was OK as was the food. I had prime rib, which was really good, but the potatoes were extremely salty.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMSacha's has a really coolSacha's has a really cool vibe, excellent food & wine. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often. Our server was fun & so patient with one of our party who is a really picky eater.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst timersOverall experience was great. Service was good but not excellent. Food was five star. I had the bison brisket, which was incredible. Everyone in my party was happy with their food. One member of our party had a special request and the kitchen was very accommodating, allowing us to essentially create our own menu item. Cheese plate was generous and tasty, pumpkin ravioli was delicious, but a smidge cold (not sure if it was supposed to be served lukewarm?). The wine lost had an extensive number of wines by the glass for reasonable prices, and the red zin I had was delicious. We live in the neighborhood and had never been. So happy we tried it! Overall, excellent experience, from start to finish.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience - wonderfulGreat experience - wonderful food and service. We will be back soon.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMRestaurant Week - Must SeeIf you're having a hard time figuring out what to do for Restaurant Week, I recommend checking out Sascha's. Although parking isn't ideal, there's a lot across the street or meters along Charles and Centre. The food is fantastic and served in smaller portions to accommodation the multi-course meal for Restaurant Week. I recommend doing the wine pairing because they all taste amazing. Also be sure to book a table in advance or you'll be waiting 45 min - 1 hr for a table.1/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
