The wine choices are extensive, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Massimo (or Maximo, not sure of the spelling), the owner/manager, was cordial and very concerned for our total enjoyment of our meal experience in the restaurant. In a quiet northwest corner of the Miami Beach area, this place was frequented by mainly local residents and was beyond comparison to the ordinary places along Collins and South Beach. It is a place that you can go often that never disappoints. I particularly like the fact that they offer half portions of pasta,

It also helped that we had the most charming wait person. Sorry that I cant remember her name, but she is from South Africa? Kudos to having her as your staff. She was knew her wine and food. We started with burata and salumi platter that was fantastic. Had the grilled steak (perfection!) side of asparagus was so-so. The ending was a fabulous dessert of pastry, chocolate and cream. Our most recent meal was outstanding. From the gracious greeting by the manager when we first arrived through the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal, our experience was memorable. We had a large antipasto, including choices of delectable meats, cheeses and vegetables, which was incredible, followed by 2 delicious past dishes, accompanied by a delicious wine. Our servers were gracious and enthusiastic.
