We started with the sampler of homemade cheeses accompanied by 2 sides - roasted peppers and prosciutto - which was wonderful. Our salads were fresh and large enough to share. We all tried pasta for entries and each, veal meatbalaas, orrichete with boar sausage and paella, were very flavorful and satisfying. We all, four of us, had a different entre and each one was superb. Absolutely no complaints about the food or service. The only thing which made our visit less than perfect was the noise level. The acoustics were terrible and made conversation very difficult. I don't know why fine dining restaurants don't try harder to lessen the noise level. We would return to this restaurant, but not on a weekend nigh, which I would guess is the busiest, therefore more people, more noise. Everyone having to talk very loudly in order to be heard. I substituted Arugula for the Romaine lettuce that was listed on the dish for my salad and they were very accommodating about it. My only complaint is that the salad was over dressed. The menu is fantastic... It was so hard to choose which dish to order because they all sounded so fabulous. The service wasn't as good as we'd like but they made it up to us with free dessert and prosecco when the sides we ordered came out late.

Enjoyed the wait staff and their ability to engage the client with humor even when he had to tell me that the third bottle of my selection - they didn't have - so finally he came back to the table to tell me what was available. Good customer service.

Very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu choices. The cheese appetizer platter was great and my husband said the pasta fagioli soup was one of the best he ever had. He had the rigitoni and loved it and my sea bass was sooooo good, I would definitely get this again, however I would love to try some of the other items on the menu. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend - good value since it includes wine with every course. I felt bad for our server, I think we were his only table after the couple next to us left. Felt like he was hovering in the background. As a new restaurant there were minor service errors (one course the food arrived before the wine) but overall not bad. Pricey but worth it.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent regional Italian cuisineA welcome addition to the Nashville dining scene. The menu is extensive and representative of the regional cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the veal meatballs, 2 pasta dishes with clams and wild boar sausage and grilled octopus and bistec (grilled 24 oz ribeye). Pasta dishes are served in both full and half portions , making good mid course selections. The bistec is huge and made for a good dish to split. The wine list is reasonably priced and again well representative of regional Italian varietals.
My only quibble: we bought bottled water and had to repeatedly stop the server from pouring tap water into our glasses.
