Inspired by his travels and passion for Italy's culture, Executive Chef Mychael Bonner has created a broad menu of Italian-fare utilizing the freshest ingredients to create the fullest flavors to bring homemade, hand-crafted pizzas and pastas, as well as prime steaks and fresh fish dishes to the table.



Feel the energy while dining in a casual and rustic 6700-square-foot setting. Dine at natural reclaimed wood tables with seating for 175, surrounded by inviting darker woods, exposed brick and beams, subtle filament lighting, and accented with muted chocolate and caramel tones throughout.

  • "Our dinner was good, but too spicy. The meatballs had to be sent back because they were so spicy. The kitchen did a very good job the second time around. My dinner, lobster in a light tomato cream sauce, was also quite spicy. I didn't send it back, but I would have preferred a bit less pepper. For the third entree, shrimp diabolo, we were given the option of the level of spiciness. The bread was fantastic and the two desserts, house made chocolate ice cream and a peach blueberry cobbler, were outstanding. I also appreciated that there was a gluten free pasta option. I will return, but I will specify that I don't like my food terribly spicy."

  • " The waitress-Amanda- was fantastic. Always around and always had the yes-attitude. However for the price of the food you don't get much. Presentation is sloppy. Gluten-free is basically; the bread items can be removed. How about interesting pasta dishes or more vegan items. For a Lettuce restaurant, and I have been too many, your menu is boring. Not creative at all. The chef is sloppy and its obvious by how the plates arrive at the table. We have come to this restaurant a few times, cause it's nearby and you can always get in."

  • "We were here on a recent tuesday night celebrating our anniversary. Place was hopping. The service by JD was excellent! Very attentive and accommodating. When we asked for an item that was no longer on the menu, he sent over the manager, Paul. He knew what we were talking about, and even though they no longer offer the dish, he went to the kitchen and had them make up something similar that was great! Best part was that he and JD kept coming over to check on us. Food and desserts were outstanding. Thanks for a memorable night:-)"

  • "Our server, Jacob, was simply fantastic. My husband and I were on a rare night out with our 4 month old son. Jacob made amazing recommendations and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We dine at saranellos often and this visit was following a terrible experience with a horrible server. Having this recent experience with Jacob has renewed our faith in this restaurant. Please hire more people like him!"

  • "From the grilled calamari to the dinners we had (filet, spicy shrimp on pasta, chicken marsala and swordfish), we enjoyed it all. Plus 1 scoop of gelato for the 4 of us was a perfect finish. One tip - they will make you chicken or veal marsala although it's not on the menu!"

  • "My wife had been to Saranello's with girl friends and she wanted to return for our anniversary dinner on Augst 7. This was my first time. She had the swordfish special (excellent) and I had scallops and risotto (a bit salty but still very good). Our waitress couldn't have been nicer or more informative. We received an excellent free anniversary chocolate dessert. I ordered flowers that were on our table when we arrived, but the card was lost and my wife, and the waitress, did not think they were from me. The manager finally confirmed I had ordered them. All in all, it was a great dinner and we will certainly return."

We have been there before but never knew that if there was a dish you were craving and it was not on the menu they would make it for you! What more could you ask of a restaurant. Jay our server was amiable and efficient and we plan on asking for him next time. OMG the chocolate marscapone dessert is the things dreams are made of....."

  • "Although this restaurant can be pretty noisy, I requested a "quiet booth" and got one. They seated us in a quiet corner of the bar area. It was great. The lasagna was delicious, best I have had in years. Very generous portion. We both ordered it, when the waiter came back to say only one was left, we shared it and both had plenty. Unfortunately everything is ala carte which can be pretty pricey. Bread also was very good and desert of a frozen chocolate covered mocha ice cream ball that was the size of a large snowball was wonderful. Minestrone soup was also very good. The place was very busy for a Wednesday night. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient."

My spinach Gnocchi was delicious but could have been more generous in portion. Others mentioned the Lasagna was very good and a generous portion was provided. The restaurant was a little noisy."

While we always have reservations I feel they always say people are staying longer than usual and we wind up being seat in bar area. The food came out quicker than in the past, which is a big improvement, but my chicken was a little under cooked, I certainly could of asked to be put under flame a little longer. We will be back as it is a good standbye and a good location."

  • "More a 3.5? Jammed at 7:30 Sat; barely get near valet or check-in. Unpleasant hosts work line of 15 people deep. Bartender gives old wine list,out of our choice, made excuses (' tho list at table was right.) Seated on time for 7:45;happy for booth in back, as room is cavernous and packed esp in the center. Deafening in places, but could chat ok at our seats. Sit a long time w/only wine we brought from bar, server is busy. Try just to ask restroom directions but she blows by with "I'll be right back", taking 5 mins. Service improves as crowd thins, but menu input was off base -"spicy" wasn't, mild was hotter, etc. Food a bit uneven, ranging excellent to ok, but fairly priced as is wine. Impressive decor; had a fun time despite flaws."

  • "I was extremely disappointed in the overall treatment and food. The shrimp appetizer was smoked cheese and mostly bread..Not at all a taste that would be oveall accepted... Prices were too high for the quality of food... No pasta for chicken parm, usually served with pasta...TOo much red sauce and nothing to put it on... Service was pathetic for a Lettuce. Table not tidied after the dinner and served dessert on a messy table that we had to ask to have cleaned. Not busy enough for that lack of care."

Although the restaurant was packed the meal was leisurely and in control of the waiter. And the support staff including the managers was always within eye contact to help. Great food: menu is not mind numbing in choice but is more than sufficient to find an old favorite or entice anew eating experience. Ambiance: a bit too hustle bustle & noisy; but this was definitely overshadowed by food and service. Will we return: This was our third visit and there will definitely be more."

  • "Had to down grade for service because a first impression is always determined by how you are greeted, and unfortunately, we were not greeted very well, barely even looked in the eye. Even though we had reservations, three other parties after ours got seated first, and when we were seated, the girl seating us didn't really know where to go, did not take us all the way to our table, and did not even bring menus with her. After that, the rest of the staff was wonderful. They were warm, friendly, and attentive. The food was fantastic-their homemade pasta is excellent-everyone in the group enjoyed their meals. Because it was a birthday celebration, we received a birthday after-dinner drink on the house, and a picture of our table."

  • "Visited Saranello's many times. Consistency is their long suit. Servings more than ample, taste delicious. Service is attentive. Our waiter, Jay, was all things to all people: kind, attentive, interested in providing a good meal and a happy customer. Every request was met with the correct response. Jay treated us very well, even though we dined off the pre-theater specials. Note: brown leather chairs showing wear; I replaced one with a tear. Your table reflects on your excellence."

  • "This was our first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic, we had the gnocchi with vodka sauce and it was one of the best I ever had. We also ordered the chicken parmesan, which was also really good with a very flavorful marinara sauce. Both entrees were good size portions and the prices were reasonable. We ordered from the pre- theatre menu which is available between 3 and 6 p.m. for $19.95. It included a soup or salad, entree and dessert. The wait staff was really good, our waitress brought refills of bread and drinks without us even asking for them and was available when needed. We already have reservations to go back and we are bringing the whole family."

  • "We were coming from a play at the local high school and didn't arrive until after 9:30 p.m. Hostess was accomodating and took us right to table, took a few minutes before someone acknowledged us. Once the waiter came over Jay everything was on track. He made great recommendations, took care of all of our needs, was helpful but not obtrusive. He did a great job. Made the overall experience. All of our entrees arrived hot and pasta entree's were well cooked and seasoned. Great job by all, I would go back and would recommend to friends."

  • "Greatly enjoy Saranellos every time. The service is perfect- so good that I would request Jacob as our server upon our next visit. The food is consistently good. Small issue with the grilled calamari appetizer this time. Very small and a little bit chewy but still good. The stuffed mushrooms are excellent. All entrees made exactly as ordered. Spinach gnocchi with homemade chicken sausage was wonderful as was the chicken limone and veal parmesan. Cant believe that we even found room for dessert! We did and the apple crostanta (might be spelling that wrong) was served ala mode and worth every calorie."
