First i am a Lettuce Entertainment member and have enjoyed many great meals at both Saranello's and many other of there restaurants. FIRST BAD experience. Waited almost 10 minutes to be seated with only one party in front of us. ( we did have reservation) and not extremely busy yet ( 6 pm ) After being seated and being greeted by server we ordered a drink and a appetizer. The appetizer came well ahead of the drink. When appetizer arrived we had to ask for silverware as there was only two sets for 4 people. As the evening went on we had to ask three times for more bread. Waiter never asked if we wanted a second drink or did they ever refill water glasses. The food was great as usual. Finally after we left to get our car from valet they misplaced our keys as they brought the party ahead of us the wrong vehicle. It was almost 10 minutes before it was straightened out. Then the line was longer to pick up there vehicles. I must say the ONE person on duty was going as fast as he could.

Saranellos is a fun spot whether you go for drinks or for dinner. Busy hip bar scene. Menu is diverse and interesting. Great pizza's and salads. We had a party of five and sat in the bar area. Tables were close and it was a tight fit. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive. We ordered 2 different pizza's which were really tasty. overall experience was good. I would recommend it.

We were celebrating completing the 30-day challenge and was looking for a special dinner. Matt did not disappoint us. From the fresh bread and EVOO to the delicious grilled scallops and luscious pumpkin soufflé dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and highly recommend Saranello's!

We arrived at our requested reservation time and were seated almost immediately. Our server appeared at the table without delay. The waitress was friendly and bubbly. She answered all of our questions. Our order was turned in and it was not long until we had our salad followed by our main entree. During the course of our meal our waitress continued to stop by to make sure all was well.

Once again Saranello's provides good food but a chaotic dining experience. First of all you walk in put off because you are forced to valet park. Sure it is complementary, as it should be as you are forced to use it as parking is nonexistent, but you should have a choice. Once seated you notice the high noise level and cramped quarters. We had to physically move our table and block an uninhabited table in order to sit down on not be on the laps of the people sitting next to us. Food is good, always has been, but service is sub par. We had to hunt down wait staff in order to get more water and other items we requested. We went because we were going to the theater and the restaurant has offered a pre theater menu. We requested that menu. Our server was not familiar with it and had to find it. When given to us she stated that the price on the menu was not accurate. She wasn't sure what the cost would be. I asked her to find out before we ordered. I would not have chosen to go back to this restaurant. Others in the group wanted to go. I have consistently been disappointed by the service. It leaves a lot to be desired. I marked that I would recommend the restaurant as the food is good and if you don't care about the experience it is ok. I hope Saranello's continues to offer the pre theater menu but prints new ones if, in fact, the price has changed.

Dining at Saranello's was truly wonderful from start to finish, because of our server Debbie. Debbie was warm, personable, charming and truly engaging. We were celebrating Jerry's birthday and she made both of us feel special. The food was delicious, however Debbie helped to make dinner an event :-) Debbie must be the kind of person who loves going to work everyday. She is a real gem! We were dining at a restaurant the night before with a server who was efficient, but not very warm and friendly. We have already told our friends about our wonderful evening at Saranello's and about Debbie.

As a frequent diner at Saranellos, my recent visit was not enjoyable. I requested (online at Open Table) a booth and asked that our server be either Jay or Marcos. We waited 15 minutes for a booth and (after asking twice) was told that neither Jay nor Marcos was working. After being seated and ordering cocktails, we noticed Jay serving another table. We said we requested him and he checked with the hostess but couldn't not take over our table. I spoke to the hostess and she said I only asked for Jay (absolutely not true). Then, one of our cocktails was incorrect and had to be sent back. We ordered the chicken noodle and sausage soup - neither bowl had even one noodle or piece of sausage! So that went back (with the manager) and no real apology. Hopefully, this was just "a bad day." We've been to Saranellos quite often since it opened and will give it another try.

We thought it was odd that we had made a reservation for our anniversary dinner, over two weeks prior to our dinner, and when we walked in, the Maitre D asked if we wished to sit in the Bar or at a Table. They were very busy; and we felt like he was steering us away from our allotted table into the bar so that they could make more room. In addition, they were totally out of menus. So, when we were seated, the server came to ask what we wanted to drink and we had no idea, since we had no menus. We thought that the server was excellent, but it didn't make up for the lack of attention paid to us or for the overall craziness of the restaurant. They were clearly overbooked for the evening and it was completely chaotic...not high energy as the survey indicated on the sound noise. The food is very good though; and the restaurant did end up bringing us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary.

Unfortunately, the noise level is always high It is better to go at five o'clock. Three or four people is the best size group in order to talk to each other, unless you can request a table at tne far North end of tne restaurant. With a larger group, the side tables on the Wrst end of the restaurant offer some privacy.

My friends and I always love to go to Saranello's as the food and service is usually very good and consistent. This time though we got a cool reception from our server when we asked for some special requests for my daughter who is a vegan. Would have appreciated some suggestions with the menu. Server made us feel like we were in the wrong spot to dine out. She did warm up a bit as the meal progressed.

I ordered a skirt steak to be done medium rare. It came well done. By the time it was brought back, prepaired the correct way, I had to eat by myself because my wife was already finished with her meal. Food was finally good, but not pleased with the cost you have and the way it was sent to the table. Was happy with how it was resolved, but not to eat alone

Reservations are suggested especially for Friday nights. Early dinner (5pm) for us. Place was empty at first and filled up quickly. We were seated right next to another couple in this empty restaurant. They moved their table a bit away just so we didn't share conversations.Oil was poured for some bread, which we never received. Our waitperson took our order and we didn't see him again. A different person brought our entrees. No one came over to check on us.We needed soft drink refills and literally waved our arms to get attention and finally flagged down our waitperson. He came over and we asked for a refill. We mentioned that we never got bread. He brought over a small pitcher of iced tea, and bread and then disappeared until check time.

We have been to Saranello's a number of times and every time we go there I find it to be average at best and usually not up to Lettuce standards. The food is just ok and everything is a la carte. It's one of the few restaurants that doesn't even offer a side of pasta with an entrée. However, you can add a side of pasta for $5 and it is a nice sized portion and can probably be shared. While we didn't order it this time, their flat bread pizza is probably the best choice on the menu. I will say that service has improved considerably since the restaurant first opened and our server was attentive and very friendly. In my estimation, DiPescara is a much better option for a Lettuce Italian restaurant.

good food, generous portions, attentive wait staff. The side orders are enough that four can share. Everything is ala carte....not so unusual, but makes Saranello's a little more pricey than competitors. It is rather strange that unless specifically stated, entrees have no starch or vegetable. Chicken parm and no pasta, what's up with that?

Today's experience not one to remember. Ordered an item on the 'specials' menu, so was hoping for special. What was served was lack luster, not as described and truly missing the mark. Our 'pear and Gorgonzola' salads, a speciality item, was missing not just the Gorgonzola (thus unaptly named), but also cranberries and candied walnuts. We asked for the dressing to be lightly tossed and it was not; it was on the side. The chef ignored our customer requests and her own recipe! If the item is featured, the customer should expect it to be special. When asked about the missing ingredients, we were brought small bowls for the 2 of us to split!!!! Service was inattentive. If a restaurant do 'specials, what hope is there for the rest of the menu?

My husband enjoys this place and I can't figure out why? The service is poor, our waitress looked peeved when we didn't order wine or an apptz. It was a Sunday night and we had to work the next day! Wine doesn't mix. She was a bit sarcastic when I asked her about the ingredients in the salad and was obnoxious when we asked about the specials. We thought it was two (fish and risotto) different courses when it was one item. Sorry. It might have been the coupons which keep my husband returning because we have never gone otherwise. There are so many better restaurants and seriously with the level (not) of service it doesn't seem like a LE Restaurant.
