Sarabeth's TriBeCaGreat brunch, very kid friendly,Great brunch, very kid friendly, in a beautiful neighborhood in NYC.6/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFoodGreat food, lots of choices and reasonable prices. Not so common in New York. Good choice anytime, breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFancy BrunchHuge restaurant. Cute location. Lots of light. Food is great. Brunch cocktails are tasty. Great place for a fancy brunch with the girls. Menu items were interesting. Pricy. Keep in mind you're not just paying for the food so much as the chance to see a celeb.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat choice for brunch!Excellent service (water glass was never less than half full), food had a good mix of conventional items and novel twists, and portions were appropriate. I would have liked a stronger bloody mary, especially given what they charge for it. That said, I would still go back as the overall experience was very good and a great way to spend an early Saturday afternoon in Manhattan!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMMy, how Sarabeth's has grown! My, how Sarabeth's has grown! Over the years, I have enjoyed the Upper East and Central Park South locations of Sarabeth's, but this TriBeCa spot was new to me. (I hear there is even a location in Tokyo!) While the dining room lacked the intimacy of the early Sarabeth's, the breakfast was just as delicious! The Fluffy French Toast was deliciously simple, served with fresh berries. Others in our group enjoyed the Papa Bear Porridge and omelettes. The server happily accommodated all of our requests, side orders, etc. Coffee flowed freely.
Even on a dark and rainy morning, Sarabeth's was a bright spot. I'm happy to say that even as the concept has grown in size and scope, it is still a lovely place to spend a morning.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat bruncharrived early...and our table was waiting. 8 people had a variety of dishes.....fish, eggs, salads, sandwiches. Everybody loved it.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAll that you could hope for...All in all, Sarabeth's delivered on all accounts. There wasn't anything too spectacular about it, but everything was very good across the board. I look forward to going back again...which will surely happen. Loved the free baked goods at the end of the night. Good stuff.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways great! This was my second visit to SaraBeth's and the first for my dining companions - it was great from start to finish. Excellent service, fantastic food and a great location. My friends were very impressed and we look forward to visiting again soon!5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSunday Brunch TreasureThe "fat and fluffy" french toast was yummy. Busy, but not too busy to give great service. Menu had many great choices. Lively, but not loud.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place if visiting NYCHad an excellent and very attentive staff, you should make a reservation several days in advance to have a brunch at the time you would like. The place is always full. The food was excellent and was a great choice, if you are visiting New York, its a great place to go in a less crowded area of manhattan.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMService was attentive despiteService was attentive despite a crowded, frenetic atmosphere dominated by kids and strollers. Food was big and lavish.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorial Day-weekendWe went to SaraBeth's with friends, for my husbands birthday over Memorial Day weekend. We were hesitant because it did seem like more of a brunch establishment from the reviews, but we liked the look of the menu. SaraBeth's had a very pleasant dinner atmosphere and we loved the corner booths!
I loved the appetizers: grilled octopus, beet salad and the white asparagus salad.
Everyone enjoyed their main entrees. We truly enjoyed our waitress Carolyn and everyone that came to our table. For desserts, the ice cream sandwiches were a hit!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat find!We went for brunch on a weekday and loved everything about Sarabeths! The food was was EXCELLENT , the service was very frie dly and efficient. It's a spacious place so we had a cozy table and some privacy even though they were many people. You absolutely will love Sarabeths. I have also been to two others locations and they were great as well.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest brunch in NYC!It is a little expensive, but totally worth it! Not good for dinner though, only for breakfast and brunch, possibly lunch.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMfat and fluffy french toastfat and fluffy french toast was very good. Wish there were more strawberries and more syrup for how much bread they give you (4 pieces). One person mistakenly got a chicken salad thinking it was chicken salad sandwich so that could be better described on the menu. Mimosa cocktail with 4 fresh juices was the best mimosa i have ever had. clean classy atmosphere good for brunch with family5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA Hidden GemAbsolutely loved our visit to Sarabeths Tribecca when we visited NYC from Scotland. It was recommended to us by someone that had been. We had breakfast there and it was a lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent and the crab cakes on muffins with eggs was amazing. Would recommend it to anyone!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOur dinner at Sarabeth's wasOur dinner at Sarabeth's was very enjoyable. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant is very kid-friendly. We had 3 children with us who were entertained with crayons and coloring pages which were supplied by the staff. The food was prepared to our liking and served in a timely manner.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day BrunchWe came here on Sunday for Mother's Day Brunch and we were not disappointed! The place is very big and pretty, great for groups and new mommy's with strollers (like me!). It has a cozy feeling, but also feels bright and airy, if that makes any sense, lol. The food was yummy, and the servers attentive. The ONLY thing I would say that I found disappointing was that I ordered their signature lemon-ricotta pancakes and they came out cold, stiff and were over lemony, so I do not recommended this dish. I do however, highly recommend their crab cake sandwich, it was delish!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day Brunch a little rushedFood was good, service was just ok. We ordered the basket of muffins with our drinks and the waiter asked if we were ready to order our entrees. Our entrees came right away (almost too fast) and we didn't receive our basket of muffins. The waiter did not check on us or notice that we didn't have the muffins we asked for. The manager randomly came over to see how the meal was and he brought the muffins. Overall, I left with a feeling of being super rushed and not able to sit and enjoy brunch with my mom on Mother's Day. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all and I couldn't help but feeling like cattle being herded in and out. This does not go with the nice things I have heard about this place. Not sure if I will be back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMEarly Mother's day treatWonderful food and excellent service. the rooms are lovely with an open country feel. It can get a little too noisy at times but you cannot be critical of people enjoying themselves. Our family loved it.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBreakfastWent to Sarabeth's for breakfast. Nice place, good food and rich portions. Lovely four flower juice. Service with a hint of attitude though.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGirls nite outFood & service were good great place to hang with friends.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed our Brunch at Sarabeth's.Enjoyed our Brunch at Sarabeth's. We enjoyed mimosas and a terrific lunch. Food was very fresh and homemade. The service was good as well. Just the right amount of attention. It can be quite loud when it is crowded but once the crowd thinned a little is was perfect!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMy party of four was met byMy party of four was met by a delightful hostess. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly. Our waiter was wonderful.
Everyone enjoyed the meal. Prices were what they should be. Coffee worked for me and I am picky about coffee. We had a wonderful experience.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMOn a bustling TFF afternoon,On a bustling TFF afternoon, the staff did their best to keep us happy. Not an easy feat with the competition of a street festival on their doorstep. Food was great, as always. Service was decent. Had to ask 3x for honey that should have accompanied my dish, but forgivable.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful brunch. GreatDelightful brunch. Great food. Wonderful Bloody Mary. Very nice service. Very pleasant start to our day!
Will be back!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Brunch OptionLoved having my OpenTable reservation! We were seated right away! Exactly what we were looking for, great neighborhood feel, great food, and wonderful service.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe staff was beyond wonderful. The staff was beyond wonderful. I had a party of three and one person was very late. The hostess kept coming to the bar to check on us and as soon as my party was complete we were seated. WAY after our reservation time.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to have brunch or lunchWe had brunch there last Saturday and it was great! It's a light-filled, spacious restaurant for NYC and their brunch is top notch. Service was good and it get's busy. Book ahead if you want a weekend brunch. I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict - fantastic.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMsimply gorgeoussimply gorgeous !!!!!I love this place and everytime I go to nyc it is a must go !!!
the food , the waiters service....everything......I miss sarabeth's .....so hope to visit nyc soon...................4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was quite good andThe food was quite good and not too expensive. The rooms are very nicely decorated. It is conveniently located near several subway stops.
I will be going to this restaurant again in the near future.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFor a late afternoon visitFor a late afternoon visit on a Saturday, the place was not busy. There are several nice choices on the Breakfast/Late Lunch menu, with Cream of Tomato soup as a stand-out selection in our opinion. Crabcake sandwich was very well received as well, and one of the children was very satisfies with thin-crust pizza. The sirloin burger did not rise to the level of exceptional, but it was still above average. Fantastic lemon cheesecake for dessert and our server had no problem satisfying a request for a macchiato (which is often a too foreign concept in an American restaurant). We sat in a corner booth with a view over Greenwich street which added to the pleasant ambiance. All in all, a great meal.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!Delicious brunch! Fabulous hot chocolate, scone and raspberry preserves. We highly recommend it!3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMYou Can't Lose With the BrunchI've only ever been here for brunch, and I'm totally okay with that. Their french toast and apple chicken sausages are to die for. A must try.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Weekend Breakfast PlaceWe dined at Sarabeth’s early on a Sunday morning. The place was quiet, pleasant music – felt like a Parisian café. We had freshly squeezed orange juice, two different omelets and lattes – everything was absolutely delicious; fresh, not too fatty, interesting ingredients. Certainly not your standard American breakfast. The service was attentive but not overbearing; the waiter left us in peace but was there immediately when we needed him. If we lived in NY this would definitely be one of our regular places to go.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful but something new pleaseThis branch of Sarabeth's is huge and airy yet it retains the lovely Sarabeth's ambiance. The food is very good, but one complaint is really necessary: the menu has been exactly the same for what, 30 years? Please, Sarabeth, something new! When Sarabeth's opened in Carnegie Hill (Upper Madison Avenue) they used to bring fabulous bread and strawberry butter. How about bringing that back?3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a reservation for 12.We had a reservation for 12. The food was fantastic, the service was great, the ambiance, everything.
The salads were so tasty and the entrees.
Can't wait to go back.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best brunch places in NYGreat place for brunch with superb and quick service. Both classic and salmon eggs benedicts were delicious and definitely need to try their french toasts. It can get very busy by 11am with their lunch menu opening up so best to make a reservation in advanced or go there early before the crowds get in. They definitely have the baby stools and sort of a stroller parking available so definitely accomdating for families with kids. I'm happy the locals now have another choice of a good brunch place in the neighborhood.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food and amazing experienceAmazing food and amazing experience. Recommend the hot chocolate, the lemon ricotta pancakes and the red omelet. The juice def did not taste "fresh" rather a mix of bottled juices. Regardless, good for brunch.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat!Great food! Went for an early breakfast and there were a fair amount of little ones, some were pretty loud. I'm not sure how family friendly it is after 11am. Not a real surprise, the food at the uptown Sarabeth restaurants is always good. I will definitely go back.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMthumbs up for the salmon eggthumbs up for the salmon egg benedict. would definitely revisit here to get brunch/lunch.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything is great! One of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. Service was fantastic and building maintained its ambience from the Bazzini Nut Factory that used to be here for 100 years.2/1/2013 12:00:00 AMReally bigger than the oneReally bigger than the one Midtown West, serviable people, always good brunch/eggs and freshly squezzed juices + brunch cocktails. Quiet neighbourhood in addition.11/25/2012 12:00:00 AM
