I had gone specifically to have the wonderful ravioli with pumpkin puree that was a fall/winter special last year. It was not on the menu and I was very disappointed. The couscous with seafood included chickpeas, not on the description... I do not eat them.

Have wanted to eat at a Sarabeth's for years - even have the cookbook. Turns out the back room is not as pretty as the main room - unfortunately my 2 guests were already seated or I would have requested to move to main room. Maybe I was expecting too much but I thought the food was just OK, mass-produced and nothing special. My frittata looked like a frisbee on my plate. My dish came with a choice of muffin so I requested pumpkin but when I took a bite it was banana. Took ages to get our waitress who said they must have run out of pumpkin muffins because when they run out they just substitute something else. Not acceptable - what if I was allergic to banana! Waitress was unfriendly. Overall disappointing.

My wife and I had been wanting to come here for quite a while... And we weren't disappointed. My favorite dish is Eggs Benedict, and I've sampled versions of it from all over the world. I must say that Sarabeth's ranked way up there in my honest opinion. My wife had a Veggie Frittata and was allowed to sample that as well - that also was quite wonderful. The coffee was nice and strong and the juice, fresh squeezed, and the service was very attentive. The price wasn't cheap, but what do you expect? Central Park South.

I normally go to the Sarabeth's in Central Park South, but we had plans in midtown east so we decided to try this location instead. The food is good, consistent with the other location. Quite disappointing though was the service. The woman who seated us was very rude which dimmed our cheerful mood. Thankfully, our server was friendly. Not attentive, but friendly enough when we could flag him. I'm going back to Central Park South where they are much more coordinated and organized. Too bad, the space here is quite nice.

We were looking for a place to have an early dinner. Sarabeth's fit the bill. Very friendly, service was great, daily specials, food was perfect and delicious. They serve all day and night and brunch on weekends. And a bonus bag of muffins when we were leaving. Good choice!

I can honestly say that this was the worst dining experiance while living in NY. They took 40 minutes to seat us, even though we had a reservation. After sitting down, I noticed there were MANY tables open, yet they were sitting making people wait. The table they sat us in was right next to the door. They server kept on leaving the door open while walking in and out making the table unbearable cold. I had to request that they close the 7 TIMES. It took them 30 minutes to bring us coffee and take our orders. After taking forever to place the orders. they got my mothers order wrong (she ordered a veggie omelette, they brought out ham). My benedict was actually inedible it was so bad. I would not go there again even if they paid me.

I chose Sarabeth's based on how well known it was, etc.; we usually go to Norma's at the Parker Meredien while in NY, for brunch. As we walked in we were greeted by a less than enthusiastic, morose young woman. While our waiter was pleasant and attentive, the food was not all it was hyped up to be. They are known for their muffins so of course we got those, but they were cold - not room temp, but cold. The preserves were fine, but the butter came in an ice cold ball - and how do you spread that on an already cold muffin?? We are very aware of high dining prices in NY, but $80 for breakfast/brunch here was not worth it, I'm sorry to say. Maybe another SB location would be a better experience, but this was a let down.

Sarabeths jams parties of 2 into small, way too close tables. The noise level is very high, and the menu surprisingly limited, with odd combinations of ingredients. Also expensive for what you get.

It's nice for a branch. Their salmon egg Benedict and French toast are outstanding. Unfortunately, the apple cinnamon French toast which I like the most was sold out. Here's large and it is no need to wait for long. But in my opinion, the other SARABETH is more delicious than here.

My daughter and I chose this restaurant as a convenient meeting place for breakfast before I flew out of town. I enjoyed my breakfast entre, but the eggs of my daughter's eggs benedict were not properly cooked. We could never get the attention of a server to correct it, so, she just ate it as we were a bit time constrained. The server never checked on us after the food was delivered nor could we get our check.

I have always heard how great SB's is and I thought it was ok. My eggs benedict was fine. The sauce was delicious, but the muffin could have been a bit softer. The fat and fluffy french toast was a bit dry. The bacon was delicious and the coffee was great, but if I am paying $18/19 for a brunch dish in NYC, then I expect to be blown away by my meal.

My girlfriend and I were on holidays in NY and read many positive comments about having brunch at Sarabeth´s, so we made a reservation. Food was great, the only thing we didn´t like was the orange juice, it tasted like a canned juice. The rest of the food and another juice we had were absolutely great. I was expecting greater things from this restaurant after all the good reviews but I was not impressed. I ordered an egg white omelet and asked for it to be well done but that was not how it was cooked. There was hardly any filling and the price was high for mainly egg whites. They were cold and not very tasty. The scone was cold and dry and the famous jam - runny. The waiter couldn't have cared less and never came near us after taking our order. Won't be returning

Rarely do you find a place in NYC that won't open at 7.30…..only at 8AM and then they force patrons to wait out on the street until exactly 8AM…..no sitting and waiting, no inside to get out of the heat, just plain locked out. Would NOT recommend this for breakfast meetings before work. Once in though, it's a great quiet place for a session.

We had a reservation at 1 but were not seated until 1:30. The staff barely acknowledged the inconvenience. But then our waiter was terrible. He forgot about us. When my friend's food came out without a crucial component, he asked her with disdain if she really wanted it. I could not believe it. The server also argued with her if her food came with a scone or not. My lemon ricotta pancakes were dry and barely edible. Same with the muffins in the bread basket. The side of three eggs looked like one egg. I just would not eat here again. Terrible service and very mediocre food.
