The bar service was very poor and so was the service. However our server was very pleasant and friendly we had to keep repeating our drink order. It was very cold and we set at a table that was just too small for our group. We were taken to our table and was just left there to try and figure out how we were all going to fit. Had to ask for help. They had to lower one end of the table so we could manage to get into the booth. I guess the expected us to figure that out. It was so cold where we were sitting that we had to move to another section. However, we were first told there were no other tables available and about 1/2 an hour later one became available. It was a very trying experience to say the least.

Had brunch with 7 people. Looked a bit like a diner but the food and service were excellent. The coffee was also very dark and very strong (which was good.) Does not compare in decor to some nearby local places but the price was right and okay for Manhattan.

We have been to Sarabeth's many time on the Upper Westside and always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and food. Although the food was good and atmosphere fine at Central Park location, the front door staff were snobby. Our waiter was very accommodating. Going back to Upper Westside.

We had eggs benedict, fluffy french toast, cheddar & jalapeño omelet, and a side of bacon between 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids). The presentation was beautiful and the taste was better. It was probably the best non-pizza food we had during our 3 day stay in NYC. Do note, it is near Central Park, so like every other restaurant there, it is very expensive...be prepared for a brunch for four to cost $140.00

I work in a hotel and I recommend this place to a lot of our guests for a nice brunch. My parents came to town and I decided to try what I recommend. The food was brilliant! A lot of food for what you pay. The service was lacking. They were nice but slow. And I'm not talking the "oh hey, lets enjoy breakfast slow", I'm talking wait 7 minutes (I timed it) to get a cup of coffee slow. I would go back and continue to recommend and just say our waitress was having an off day.

VERY Disappointing and will not be back and I have been coming to SB for 20 years, starting with the Madison and 93rd Street location. It was a surprise for my sister's belated 55th birthday as she was visiting from CA. All guests arrived first, BUT the hostess would NOT seat them! Policy! I own a restaurant La Puerta Azul in Millbrook NY and know about service! Terrible service our orders were all wrong nothing was comped to compensate and no recognition with a desert for the birthday girl. You have lost my business and all of my girlfriends who were with me.

After traveling 6 hours from Vermont we stopped in Manhattan at 5:30am with reservations set for 8am at Sarabeth's. I recalled Sarabeth's from my constant travel to NYC back in 2006, so it was my mission to return to Sarabeth's after an 8 year hiatus. When an experience is impeccable it's memory gets burned into eternity. I went online to find about reservations and it is fortunate that OpenTable was available as I prefer to do my reservations using modern day technology. Sarabeth's sumptuous fresh fare simply redefines the senses which goes hand in hand with a well trained staff.

We were a group of 6 for brunch on a Sunday. The place was packed so service was a little slower than what I would have liked. I had the eggs with kale and a pumpkin muffin along with some coffee. Everything was delicious down the the jams. My boyfriend enjoyed the oatmeal with fruit and a side of sausage with apricot jam and orange juice. The pricing is typical "NYC brunch" prices but I think the quality was good. I would return when I'm back in town.

I specifically made a reservation at Sarabeth's for afternoon tea, as noted on their website. When I arrived at 3:30, I asked the hostess outside if tea was served starting at 3:30 and she said yes. The tea service menu is posted right outside the door with the late lunch menu. When I was seated, the waiter told me that they don't do tea anymore, and he did hand me a menu without it listed. I was quite disappointed, as I know the pastries, scones, sandwiches, etc. are all very good.

I love Sarabeth's and had my heart set on a turkey burger. Imagine my disappointment when I was told they were out of them. To say the least, this was distressing-we had a 1pm luncheon reservation. Not good for a restaurant that prides itself on this particular dish. At least my guests got what they wanted, even if I had to find a substitute. My guests enjoyed the meal and the service. Hopefully the next time I go, I won't be disappointed again.
