Saporis Restaurant and Bar reviews from OpenTable diners
  • This is a newly-opened restaurant

This is a newly-opened restaurant in a high-rise apartment building (TheTowers) at the far end of Crandon Blvd. on Key Biscayne, FL. Unfortunately, the building will not let them put a sign out at the road or on the building itself. Consequently, the only way to know about it is from local newsletter and magazine ads and word-of-mouth. Most of their patrons are from the building itself. The main courses were moderately expensive and quite good. The desserts were very small portions, especially since we were sharing. They do have a private party room for 50 and a very pleasant covered patio with many tables. The chef has added menu items upon requests from diners. There is no designated parking so diners have to compete with residents.

Since it has only been open a month, I didn't rate it lower. Fusion is its brand, but fusion of what? It's more Italian ( as was the previous restaurant at this location) than anything. The website shows pictures that imply Asian. The calamari was a good appetizer, but the rest of the meals were overpriced for what you got. We were disappointed as the Key needs more good restaurants.
