I would recommend the muscles in white wine sauce as well as the asparagus dish as appetizers. The pasta is all home made and each dish is flavorful and not what you find at every Italian restaurant. The desert is also quite good if you have room, the tirmisu is amazing. I had one of their seafood pasta dishes--mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops over spaghetti in a very nice red sauce. My three dinner companions also loved their meals, including gnocchi, veal, and salmon. Service was perfect--attentive but not intrusive, and our server matched a wonderful red Italian wine that neatly complemented our dishes. Highly recommend Sapori Trattoria. Their dishes are always delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy. We had the caesar salad and stella salad to start off with - both were huge and you should definitely share if you can agree on one. Our main dishes were the Vitello Portafoglio and the Cappellacci all'Aragosta - loved! We had a nice bottle that we brought from home and they charge a $10 corkage. The bread pudding is also delicious if you manage to save room for dessert!

We have been here several times, and their quest to remain excellent is very apparent. The food is consistently outstanding. We usually start with soups and salads, and we always order their bruschetta with avocado, it's delicious. One of my favorites the lasagna, it's perfect. My husband enjoys the lobster ravioli. And my new favorite is their pasta with shrimp.....I don't know what their recipe for the "sauce" is, but it's beyond anything I've ever had anywhere else. Save room for the Tiramisu, and try some of the other desserts, they're fantastic. We also are recognizing some of the servers, that's a good thing as they are all very professional and most helpful.
