Diner Reviews
  • "I ordered the half order ribs. They had so much sauce on them I could not find the ribs, the end pieces were overcooked and tough. My companions were much happier with their selections. the salad was good, but too much iceberg lettuce."

  • "Great Sunday brunch! Good selection and good food."

  • "Happy hour drink prices are good. Appetizers - nothing to write home about. Gets noisy. Surprised they allowed smoking out on the patio. Waiter was a jerk."

  • "My daughter chose to celebrate her 20th birthday here. The food and service were excellent. Will come to dine again."
    Dined on 6/24/2014
  • "My husband and I visited for Sunday brunch, having heard many great thing about their brunch. The food was ok, the service was terrible and unorganized."

  • "This brunch has been around as long as I have, can always rely in it."
    Dined on 6/22/2014
  • "Brunch here is very good...the Prime Rib, when they cut it fresh (which they don't do very often) is amazing. The waffles are fantastic. The rest of the choices are great! BUT really, without a groupon, we would not go as the price is too high for the experience."
    Dined on 6/22/2014
  • "We dined at Santorini for Sunday Brunch. What a waste of 40 bucks per person. Rude hostess wouldn't seat us until the time of our reservation even though we were only about 10 minutes early. Wound up sitting in the bar instead where we only saw our server three times during the whole visit. Very disappointed."

  • "We are staying in Eden Prairie and decided to try this restaurant because we have actually been to Santorini Greece. Not only does this place have a great atmosphere, but the food was magnificent. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who visits the Minneapolis area."

  • "We were seated in the back room by a fireplace, it seemed there were two servers for the whole room - they were sharing tables. It was kind of annoying to have two different people coming up to you and then at the end of our meal they had to confirm what wines we had drank. The servers seemed a bit frantic. It was pretty chilly in there, so I would recommend a sweater. The food was great, I had Kotopita and my fiance had the gyro dinner. The Kotopita was fantastic. The gyro dinner was a bit disappointing because it is served with 4 mini pitas instead of having everything placed in to a large pita, like when in Greece."

  • "In our times dining at Santorini's, we have never been disappointed. At this time of year the sea bass with saffron risotto with lobster cream sauce is the absolute best! We have even brought friends back to share this experience with them. We all are agreed it is so wonderful we have trouble selecting anything else!"
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "Very pleasant people at the door and wait staff.. Way to noisy outside . Sat in a lovely anteroom . Kebobs were very bland for a Greek retaurant . Lamb chops just okay .Will go back for another try hopefully it was just an off night ."
    Dined on 6/18/2014
  • "The food at Santorini continues to be amazingly good, however at the most recent visits the service has bot been great. It took the weather quite awhile to stop at our table to offer us drinks. Even after we requested drinks it took longer than it should to be delivered."

  • "This has been a family favorite for years. Always good food and good service!"

  • "I was not impressed by the service at all. Our waiter brought us 1-coffee and 1-coke and never showed up again. I had a groupon and he quite rudely announced that the "Owner" told them NO groupon's accepted on Father's Day. He seemed to take the attitude of tuff luck, take it or leave it! :( The desserts consisted of ice cream and a non-functioning chocolate fountain which is quite a disappointment when your meal is well over $70! UGH We could have went and gotten a nice steak somewhere or to other local brunch restaurants and gotten better quality food for less. We have been there before and liked the restaurant and will go back again only to use the groupon I bought and have to use by July 2nd!"

  • "I've been here several times for lunch and the food is great but sometimes the service is slow. Went for the first time on Father's Day for Sunday brunch. The selection is good but with the exception of some Greek food like gyro and salad, the rest is typical food you'll get in any other brunch place."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "We went to Santorini for Father's Day dinner. We shared a greek salad and had entrees and dessert. The salad was great, the entrees were very good, we had a shrimp tomato-feta pasta dish, which was really good, the walleye was good. Dessert was not great - they need more options! Otherwise, good experience."

  • "My date and I went here on a Wednesday night, thinking the reviews about the service being understaffed would be better on a weeknight. We sat on the patio, and it quickly became apparent that they were grossly understaffed and inefficient. We drank our first round before the apps came out, and the second round didn't come until after we had finished the meal. Or waitress was kind and apologetic, but it's obvious that management was to blame for the messy experience. That being said, the food was awesome. I would come again in a heartbeat if I heard they cleaned up their service. Until then, I'm not going back."

  • "First off, the brunch was really good. Lots of selections both breakfast and lunch items, tea and coffee included. My husband, college age son and myself went. My husband bought a Local Amazon coupon $39 for two and we had to pay for our son. When the ticket came it was $109.99, we were shocked. They took off the original price of our coupon, so the only thing left was our sons cost plus tax. The food was good but not $109 good. It was a nice change but we wont be going there again."

    Dined on 6/7/2014
  • "Servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The menu has a wide selection of options with many combinations of flavors to choose. The meals are a good value for quality food."

  • "This restaurant was seriously understaffed in the kitchen. We ordered then waited and waited and waited. Our waiter did his best to get food to us, but being able to see the kitchen from where we sat, it was clear they were very understaffed. There was mass confusion about what food belonged to which order and we waited 45 mins for a salad then another 45 mins for our entree. Would not go there unless you have several hours and a lot of patience."

  • "I and my family dine at Santorini a few times a year (4-5 times) and our most recent visit was a memorable and concerning one . We had reservations at 7:30 pm but were not seated until 7:55 pm. The food arrived 35 minutes after we ordered - It was a busy night and you can sense service chaos amongst the servers and employees. Only key measure of restaurant performance is how the staff reacts when it is busy and I would give Santorini a C grade for that night. "

  • "The brunch selection itself was amazing, with a good combination of traditional breakfast and lunch choices. Vegetarian options were also available. The overall taste of the food we tried was average, suffering the fate of all buffet style dining, it's just not as fresh looking or tasting, lukewarm, and just a tad bland. There wasn't any single item on the buffet that made us say "We HAVE to come back for this!". The drinks were lovely though, not too strong for lunch and not too weak either. The place was loud and packed, with tables so close together that us larger people simply cannot find clear path between tables. Will try their dinner menu someday, hopefully they do not pack them so close for dinner. And one more brunch. "

  • "We've had such great evenings at Santorini in the past. This time was fraught with oops's. Out of my chosen menu item. No chilled Pellegrino. Out of lemonade. Meal not quite hot. Main course came before even half done with our salads. Dirty dishes weren't cleared until end of meal. We actually ran out of room on the table! Wait staff couldn't light the fire on the cheese. Two cheeses later....You get the idea. However, our waitress was delightful and attentive. Loved her! We also love the ambience and privacy we can get at Santorini."

  • "I love the IDEA of brunch at Santorini and its one of only a few places in the Cities where you can get a unique brunch experience beyond just eggs and ham. But, I'd never go without a Groupon or discount. At approx $40 per person (when you add in beverages, tax and tip) it's just not worth the price. Even WITH a Groupon we paid about $30 pp which I still think is high for the value of the food. The idea of Santorini brunch is great, but the reality is just not as good."

  • "We are always happy with our visits to this restaurant & wish we lived closer to it. The lamb shanks are worth a trip across town however. This last time I opted for another entree and that wasn't quite as good."

  • "Fresh greens, shrimp, mango, avocado salad. It was really tasty! And paired with a beautiful sunny day on their deck! Great Fun! "

  • "My wife and I went to Santorini for Sunday brunch based on some recommendations and to use a Groupon coupon. Our reservation was for 1:30pm which was towards the tail end of the brunch offering time. What we found was that most food items, especially the salads/cheeses items were empty. The physical appearance of the stations were dirty. We also noticed that the overall appearance of the restaurant was somewhat dingy and dirty."

  • "I was so excited to have Sunday brunch at Santorinis, as about a year ago I had a very fun dinner here with a bunch of my girlfriends so I was looking forward to trying the brunch with my husband. The dinner was such a fun experience with great food and great service. Sunday brunch was the opposite. We were ignored for 20 minutes before even being asked if we wanted the brunch buffet and drinks. The drinks NEVER arrived & we were ignored til end of meal. The quality of the food (cold waffles) was very disappointing for the price ($24 per adult). Because she forgot our drinks, she did adjust our bill & charged us the price of kid's buffet meal + 1 adult. Patio itself was lovely but service & food poor--will not recommend or be back. "

  • "Brought 10 people to celebrate our father's birthday. Server was nice, but half the orders were wrong or didn't come out of the kitchen at all! By the time it was corrected most of us were already done eating. Just totally unacceptable. The dining room was not even busy. They gave us free desserts which was nice, but the whole evening left a bad taste."

  • "We love going to Santorini! The outdoor deck is a lively area, but when the weather is beautiful it's a great place to be. The food - what can I say. I've never been disappointed whether dining on traditional Greek offerings or exploring the menu. The Taverna pasta is fabulous - and the Chicken Kabobs! The Halibut special when we were last there was out of this world. "

  • "Met a friend after work for happy hour and enjoyed several delicious appetizers and drinks. Nice patio with large bar, live music and outdoor heaters. "

  • "Price has gone way up since I was there 2 years ago. $24/person and no seafood (except Cod), no omelet bar, and no desert bar (they had ice cream only). They had roast beef and lamb for meat but I was yelled at because I tried to take 3 little pieces of lamb (about 2 inches square). The lines were also very long and they only allow people on one side of salad bar which I assume is to prevent people from eating too much. I still can't believe I was yelled at for taking too much at a buffet. First time in life that has ever happened. I won't be back."
