  • "Awesome food! Went with 6 girlfriends prior to the drag queen show. Perfect!"

  • "We loved this restaurant! Great food and atmosphere. This is mostly a Tapas restaurant so we got to try a few different items. Their specials were excellent. They had a potato dish that was just outstanding. Portion sizes are larger than most tapas places so order a few to start and you can always order more later. Service was good although they could have been a bit friendlier. But they were very busy so I believe that had much to do with it. We'll definitely be back! "

  • "We have been coming to Key West for years. Santiago's is the one restaurant we never miss. Love the dates and bruschetta! Everything is delicious! Best Sangria!!"

  • "Santiago's Bodega is a great tapas restaurant and once again we ordered too much at our table--but we ate every bite! The food always is excellent as is the service. The staff is very friendly and altogether makes for an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend it."

  • "Fantastic food, service and a quirky ambiance make Santiago's a must visit when in kW. The short ribs & petite lamb rack are out of this world, perfectly cooked and well presented. A great tapas experience."

  • "Rapport qualité-prix comparé aux autres restaurants dans le spot touristique, est vraiment supérieur. J'y retournerai à mon prochain séjour."

  • "Cons: Pear and avocado salad was bland. Sangria tasted like grape juice and was totally flat. The saganaki (haloumi cheese) tasted like grain alcohol (the cheese must have absorbed more alcohol that was burned off when it was flambed - it was inedible). Pros: Good service. Croquettas were good! I wouldn't recommend Santiago's. There aren't a ton of high-end options in Key West, so I'd recommend you stick to low key restaurants vs. trying to get a foodie experience from a town that isn't known for food. You'll be disappointed."

  • "This was not my first visit to Santiago's and as usual it was an amazing night out! The food was great. It is the perfect place to take a group of people and have an amazing variety of food and conversation. We did have a newer server and he more than lived up to the amazing customer service that has always been Santiago's. Andy great job and we will be back !!! And not to forget the hostess ... We had an extra person show up last minute and she was a superstar. Made every effort possible to accommodate us!!! Everyone there is amazing. A true Key West gem!!!!"

  • "Based on the reviews, recommendations from locals and difficulty getting a reservation, I was excited about my dinner plans at Santiago's. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed and don't feel the place quite lived up to the hype. I had the pear/avocado salad which was very good and the diver's scallops on special, also very good. The tuna ceviche was nothing to write home about, lacked flavor over all. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I knocked a star off of service as the hostess was a bit rude to multiple customers who wandered in looking for a table without reservations. Overall, a descent experience but with other eateries aplenty, I won't be visiting Santiago's again when I return to the Conch Republic."

  • "We tried to go to Santiago's Bodega one night but had no reservations and could not get in. They were very nice, but couldn't swing it. Next night we arrived half hour early for our reservation and it was no problem. The servers were attentive and helpful. We ordered wine and three tapas. We thought the menu was a bit limited, the selection slim. But the jamon croquettes were delicious and fairly large. The mushroom pastries we're small and almost devoid of filling. The rack of lamb was huge for a tapas--three meaty ribs. It was encrusted in Dijon mustard and pecans and served whole. I had a hard time finishing the chops but we did order the bread pudding ydessert which was absolutely wonderful!"

  • "7 women on a 50th Birthday trip to Key West loved the meal we had at Santiago's. We had a reservation, which is certainly needed, as they are busy. I can't even tell you the favorite food, as it was all good, but I guess the stand outs were the stuffed dates and the beef tenderloin. We would definitely go back."

  • "Food was amazing! Every dish we had was right on the money and we were jealous of all the other dishes that others were ordering! Bread pudding is a must!"

  • "We love this place, we go to it at least once when we are in town. The staff is always do friendly and the food is great. We tried about five of the offerings and all were awesome."

  • "It's always nice to find that special eatery when you arrive in a city for the first time! This one has a wonderful selection of yummy food, fine wines, and warm eclectic ambiance!! We travel alot with our 10 and 12 yr old [who would rather come to Key West than go to Disney], and know we've hit the jackpot when both the kids agree on a restaurant, and love it as much as we do. Thought it was interesting that there were 2 groups of 6 classy local ladies here for that special girls night out; tells you something!! We left Key West feeling once again like the World is a wonderful place!"

  • "Unbelievable tapas!! Mozzarela Burratta (sp?) was out of this world! Fantastic knowledgable staff. Great night!"

  • "Great Tapas restaurant in an off the beaten path place. Small, unassuming little place with polite attentive servers. Vegetables, salads, meats--no bad dishes are served. Share plates and be careful not to order too much. We stop here each time we are in Key West. Prices are about $$$ or $$$$ but worth it. Make reservations to be sure to get a seat but you will likely be able to walk in. My wife likes the Brussels sprouts. I like the meatballs and bacon wrapped mushrooms."

  • "The preparation and timing of service for each of the tapas we ordered was perfect. The menu is wonderful and it was difficult to decide what to have. Our favorite was the little filet with the blue cheese sauce and the short ribs. The dates were gobbled up as soon as they hit the table."

  • "Went to Santiago's last weekend and, although they were very good about accommodating a party of 9, the service was otherwise fairly slow. Restaurant itself is nice, but folks walking thru Bahama Village might be put off as the neighborhood is fairly rundown. Food was inconsistent and unimpressive. The burrata was SPECTACULAR, the scallop with mushroom risotto was good (nice sear on scallops, the risotto a bit salty). The ceviche left a LOT to be desired, the over-sized chunks of fish were rather bland. Meatballs and mole tacos were good as well. Although food is served tapas style, you don't actually find a lot of traditional Spanish tapas on the menu. We liked the vibe; it's a nice alternative for something special in KW, but not great."

  • "Our family of four went to Santiago's Bodega and loved everything about it. It's tucked away on a quiet street. Great interior and exterior. It was so fun to pick a bunch of small bites to share. Kids tried new things and loved them. Tenderloin was melt in your mouth good. Another favorite was the mushroom filled puff pastry. Very fun night out!"

  • "This place was recommended by several locals. We weren't sure what to expect but we were blown away by the smaller dishes & being able to try/share several different dishes. Great food and great for intimate dining!"

  • "The food was amazing. We tried 5 or 6 different dishes and they were delicious and beautifully-presented. The menu has many great choices. My personal favorite was the Roman Meatballs. The restaurant is a quiet, unassuming place from the outside but beautifully decorated inside. If I'm ever in Key West again I will definitely return."

  • "Very small so reservations are a must. Recommend this restaurant with good friends and others you are VERY comfortable around. It's tapas, so the idea is to share plates and I wouldn't feel comfortable with someone I just met (like a first date). Santiagos is my favorite place to go on a girls night out. I recommend the (reasonably priced) sangria, and the scallops, also a brandy flambé cheese dish (don't remember the name) was awesome. I would also suggest a max of 3-4 people in your party. Any more and not everyone can taste everything without ordering double."

  • "Great Tapas! Service excellent. Nice neighborhood spot in Old Town Key West."

  • "This is a restaurant that serves small plates/tapas that you share with the rest of your table. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The waiters are very helpful with recommendations. We had lamb, beef, scallops, an amazing quesadilla, a green bean dish with gruyere and prosciutto, and a mushroom dish and each had great seasonings and flavors. The menu is extensive (as is the wine list) so if you are a carnivore or vegetarian, there is plenty for you to choose from. Also a fun, friendly atmosphere."

  • "I had read great reviews of Santiago's Bodega and it was recommended to us by a friend. It did not disappoint! The ambiance is very warm and sexy, and the food is incredible. It was our top restaurant pick while we were on vacation."

  • "We can't believe we've missed this diamond in the past. It's a bit hidden and definitely off the beaten path, but directions are simple. Food and service were great. For tapas, the portions were large. Definitely going back!"

  • "We enjoyed short ribs, chicken skewers, tartlet, chilled asparagus, pork tenderloin, bread pudding, creeps and a pitcher of sangria. Our waitstaff was attentive and made great recommendations. Our only disappointment was we were seated between two other tables so close we felt we were dining with them instead of each other. Folks were talking very loudly to be heard by their dining partners, so unless we wanted to do the same, conversation was minimal. It looked to us that requesting an outside or corner table for our next visit would be a good solution. And yes, there will surely be a NEXT visit! Our bill with tip was $115. Well worth every penny!"

  • "Great happy hour menu and prices. Salads are not 'tapas' size. They are quite large."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "Many of the local's favorite places left us disappointed, but not Santiago's. First, don't bother dressing up - its way beyond casual. Second, the location is not that great, so a taxi might be your best choice. The tapas style was perfect for our appetite and they had a surprisingly good wine list, although their sangria seemed to be very popular."

  • "My wife and I visit Key West for the past 21 years. Have been wanting to try Santiago for a few years. Food was excellent..taste..preparation..service..timing..relaxed..was fantastic experience..try the specials as well..we loved the gnocchi with lamb bacon.. fantastic..The tenderloin we could cut with a fork. Staff very well trained and pleasant..rare for peak March tourism season...Most are tired of rude tourists by now and it shows in the service and attention to details..parking can be a challenge..park on whitehead and walk..residential areas can be challenging..will definitely add it to our "MUST GO LIST""

  • "This is a really great place when you are in the mood for a LOUD energetic time. The food was great and a really varied tapas menu. There is something for everyone to like on the menu. The shrimp bisque and salad were also fantastic. The duck salad was too much even for two. I would guess a table of four could easily split it.. The tapas were great and you can add to your order as you go along. We had a terrific time!"
