Santiago's Bodega was truly a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has very nice decor and atmosphere, but more importantly the food is excellent. My beloved wife and I started our meal with soup. She had the mushroom and I had the spicy shrimp bisque. Both were very robust and flavorful. The service is considered tapas so we were able to enjoy several great items. We had the Spanakopita, Beef Tenderloin, Bacon and Basil Wrapped Mushrooms and a special which was diver scallops. My beloved wife enjoyed the chocolate walnut crepes for desert and she described it as delicious. All of the items were outstanding and when accompanied with equally outstanding service we could ask for nothing else.

Phenomenal restaurant. Maybe as good as my wife and I have had. Great tapas selections, tremendous favors. Finally the bread pudding is great finish to the meal. I can only say it was highly recommended to us and we took full advantage eating there two nights back to back and had completely different meals each night.

Visited Santiago's Bodega via a recommendation from a local waitress at another wonderful restaurant in Key West! This was the best food experience we had on our trip! Only problem was a loud group of women who thankfully left halfway through our meal...no fault of the restaurant of course. Tapas style ... Delicious! Alan was a wonderful waiter ... So nice & extremely helpful. We will be back!

Say outside for a 9:15 rez and we were there maybe 10 mins whenutbegan raining. Rather than heading inside, the staff put up some patio umbrellas so we could enjoy the rain! Food was the best we had in Key West. Every dish was a knockout! Even the house sangria was notable... not cloyingly sweet like most. Light and fresh. A wonderful last night in the Keys.

Around the corner from the usual spots, a neighborhood gem. Delicious variety of dishes - we enjoyed specials that included watermelon/pine nut/feta salad, yellowfin tuna + avocado/mango ceviche, baked brie with sour cherry compote. Dishes were well-made and presented. Fresh fruit sangria was a highlight. Service was very polite and attentive. The local(?) artwork may not fit everyone's tastes, but the dining area was fittingly dinner-ly and casual.

Been a patron of this restaurant for a few years and love the variety of tapas, their pear and avocado salad in particular (good salads in this town are limited), as well their wine list and staff. On this visit, for full disclosure the Grouper tapas was a little overcooked and this isn't the first time, however, the seasonings made it a good dish still. Also, the salad is described to contain pine nuts, which really add to the dish, but this time seemed to be missing. I'm sure had I spoken up about this the server would have resolved. I always find the staff here attentive and with positive energy which enhances the dining experience immensley.

Santiago's Bodega was recommended to us by the concierge at our bed and breakfast, supposedly the best food in Key West. The general ambiance was beautiful, nice paintings and lighting. Presentation of the dishes was nice as well. Flavor however was lacking (ahi tuna ceviche), or overdone (short ribs). Very attentive servers, but seemed rushed. The bussers were very attentive, but almost too much. Not exagerating, i believe someone removed a plate, checked on us, or topped of our water glass every two minutes. The flow of the meal became more about a clean table and full water glasses than about the meal experience itself.

Just when you thought that you have seen everything, there comes a little neighborhood restaurant called Santiago's Bodega. I found my experience there to be quite comfortable, the food was excellent and I would definitely recommend this place to others. Living in Fort Lauderdale, I have many choices of food to choose from. I had a reservation for 4 set at 7 p.m. On Friday night August 8th. It was a perfect place to celebrate my belated birthday which was August 6th. Although it was recommended by friends living in Fort Lauderdale, I knew that the person meant business when he made this recommendation. The entire staff was great. When I returned to my hotel, I told everyone that I have met there about my experience. A job well done.

We fell IN LOVE with this place, last year (2013) after many friends recommended it to us. It is an amazing restaurant for Large Parties (10 or more) because of the Tapas menu, but if you have a party of 2-4, you will LOVE IT EVEN better!! The service is remarkably excellent! despite quite a crowd waiting at the door our table for four in the corner was ready and waiting even though we were a few minutes late. service began with attentiveness and speed that lasted throughout the evening as we added to our menu and libations. The menu is loaded with delectable small plates and we thought perhaps we had over ordered but ended up downing every morsel. Each dish carried its own special presentation and aroma fresh from the kitchen which despite the large number of diners seems to magically get the order out quickly. We shared a dessert and left very contented with our evening. We even found easy parking on Petronia one block up the street from this cheery oasis. We'll be back soon.

Tapas menu - very good but not great compared to other we've eaten at in other cities. Service was friendly, prompt and responsive. Location - not much to speak of. Very busy due to mentions on several websites - reservations imperative. Outdoor seating a bit warm and noisy as they do try to cool it off with fans. Inside may be better but may need to be requested in reservation - We did not know. Wine list Ok but like many restaurants all are "new wines" - no cellar aging. Tapas dishes are US sized not European - we found 2 each to be about right.
