A word from Santiago's Bodega
Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon carpaccio. Invent your own meal. Dining in such a way permits the rules of wine pairings to step aside like snooty impostors, and what goes best with dinner is exactly what tempts you. Santiago’s Bodega is a good-natured, low-key, food-lovers hangout, a neighborhood restaurant. - Margit BisztrayContinued

  • "Six of us met up at Santiago's Bodega on a Saturday evening and it was a really nice and relaxing dining experience. I had made a reservation and when we all arrived our table was ready for us. We shared many great small plates and the white sangria is refreshing and not too sweet. Great atmosphere!!"

  • "We enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Santiago's. We decided to sit in the bar section and was taken to a comfortable and enormous booth with a view of this area of the resturant. The wait staff were affable and provided efficient service. We are definitely going back!"

  • "Our service was exceptional. Off to a bad start as we arrived in a rainstorm and almost immediately after seating the roof started leaking on our table. We were immediately reseated and our meal was uninterrupted. The food was superb, the carpaccio is especially delicious, as were the empanadas, the brussel sprouts and the service superior. This was my second trip to the restaurant and both times have been consistently excellent."

  • "Everything was perfect! Sure to return. Everyone in our group was please and wondered why we waited so long to visit Santiago's"

  • "The food at Santiago's is delicious. And it's a beautiful restaurant. The noise level is a little high for you to really be able to carry on a conversation though. And the last two times we went, they didn't have the wine we first ordered. They did recommend a similar wine and it was good. We still love this place and will go again."

  • "Food different and excellent. Also, great service."

  • "Its out first time here and living in this area means weve already been to every restaurant at least twice. Its all Tapas portions so you can order many different things and try everything and still keep your wallet full because the cost is very efficient. Service was slow but thats typical for all restaurants in this area especially during peak time - dont go for a quick bite because youll kill at least an hour and half here no matter what. Overall good experience though."

  • "This spot is a must for anyone visiting Orlando and wants a nice, low key spot for a date."

  • "Tried this place out the other night. Had a very nice menu selection of salads, cold and hot tappas. We tried a variety of items, all of which were really good. The portion sizes are normal for tappas, and very flavorful. Will def be back!"

  • "We had heard of Santaigo's so we were excited to try this new place. However when we got there, there was no parking space so this put a damper on the visit. It was frustrating trying to find a spot. My hubby wanted to just go to another restaurant but since we were already there, I told him to be patient. We finally found a spot and went in. They have this great area in front of the restaurant, however, the tables are really small so it's hard to order different tapas with limited space. Once the food came out, we got in a better mood. Drinks, food and service were great. However, not sure I will go back because of how hard it is to find a spot to park in."

  • "It was my first time. Nice place, nice service, nice environment. We ask for tapas, beer and Sangria. Ceviche was good, but the chunks are too big. It is a Tuna fish ceviche and the original Ceviche is made with Sea Bass. It comes with Mango, which is different but provide a caribbean flavor. Spanish cuisine do not use Mangos. The grill shrimp with chorizo were excellent. The Sangria is awesome. I have 2 Blue Moons beer, and then when I ask for another one they told me that they have anymore. Too bad, they recommended a Shock Top Seasonal but it was very different. Parking lot small, but secure. Service was awesome, a Polish girl too care of us. Prices are little expensive. 2 Tapas, 3 Sangrias, 3 Beers $62."

  • "I don"t have a lot of experience with tapas but this was the most delicious assortment of small plates I have ever eaten. I recommend the cerviche and the hot cheese. We had 5 Happy Hour tapas and 6 regular and each was more delicious than the one before."

  • "Really enjoyed the lunch! They don't have the lunch menu during the weekends, but they were still able to honor the soup/salad as a lunch portion. Always a good time at Bodega"

  • "We can't believe we just found this place. The tapas menu make it fun and the food is all really yummy. It's noisy but that's to be expected. The restaraunt is fun and group friendly. A reservation is recommended obviously. We always suggest Santiago's to anyone who will listen"

  • "For an afternoon splurge, the Brunch is a must! However, know that you are splurging for the atmosphere, decent food and endless Mimosas/Sangrias, definitely not for the service!"

  • "The best thing to say here is the food is worth the wait. Because there will be plenty of waiting. Rarely do reservations mean anything, as your entire party must be present to get seated and even if they are all present, there is almost always a wait. Which would be OK, except . . . most of the wait staff does not know how to take care of customers once they are seated. I hope this place survives because the food is that good."

  • "Overall very good. Parking very limited. Outdoor dining best undercover to avoid summertime showers. Round tables at the front of the restaurant too small for 2 people dining for dinner. Lentil and shrimp bisque soups were good, but a tad on the salty side. The avocado pear salad was nice and large enough for 2 people but overall lacking in flavor. Beef tenderloin excellent, along with bacon wrapped stuffed mushrooms. Some of the best bread pudding with coffee rounded out our evening. Brunch was a hit!"

  • "My husband and I dined at Santiago's based on a recommendation from a relative. The place is very eclectic looking with large vibrant paintings on the wall. The menu is made up of salads and hot and cold tapas. The pear and avocado salad was large and very sharable and also very delicious. We also shared the trigger fish which was a good size portion and tasted very fresh. The other tapas we had was croquettas with prosciutto and cheese which was good but couldn't quite taste the prosciutto in them. For desert we had melt in your mouth cronuts. The wine list is good and has some nicely priced wines. Overall we had a great time and will definitely return."

  • "We had dined at Santiago's about 6 weeks ago and enjoyed it, but had some reservations (namely their sangrias & the bread charge). This time we decided to go a bit earlier in the day and with some friends to share our opinions. Between the 4 of us we had 11 tapas (all of the special ones part of the happy hour specials) plus the Dates, 2 of the Half-Rack Lamb, the Spanakopita and the Shrimp & Chorizo. Difficult to say which one was Top Favorite, but the Dates and the Half-Rack of Lamb were voted the best. Regretfully the problems experienced with the sangria were this time shared by all of us: the large wine glass in which is served is filled with so MUCH ice, the taste of the sangria is affected and before one knows it loses its taste."

  • "The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very interesting and fun, and the people were nice. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if we had a different server, our server took FOREVER to bring out anything we ordered in fact it took 20 minutes to get 1 beer that a friend ordered. All the other servers seemed to be very responsive to their tables (and ours when we got desperate enough to holler at them lol). All in all I will definitely go back!"

  • "It was my first time at the restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and the vibrant bar scene. The food was fantastic. There were a lot of choices on the menu but not enough to confuse you. I will definitely be going again"

  • "This place has great potential. Food was good, not excellent, but lots of room to improve for the better. I was confused a bit was it Spanish, Mexican or Mediterranean? The menu had no focus. Bartenders are very nice. I would return for drinks. Wait staff has zero knowledge on wine. They need to fix that asap. Give this place a year or two to improve and great things will come with proper management. "

  • "This was our first time for brunch her, but not our first time here and it was just as great as our evening meals. It was a little pricey, but the food was well prepared and delicious. Normally I am up at the crack of dawn , so this wouldn't have worked most of the time, but we were out late the night before and this was perfect."

  • "The food and service were great! We loved the dates...it was the perfect combo of salt/sweet with a creamy finish from the goat cheese that is stuffed inside. They really pay attention to your needs and are prompt and very social. We'd definitely return."

  • "We love Santiago's! Whether it's enjoying the beautiful weather on the patio, a happy hour drink in the bar or a date night in the dining room, we always have great food and great service."

  • "Delicious food, good drinks, outdoor seating...how could you lose? Tapas allows for tasting a variety of dishes, craft brew, wine list, and mixed drinks. Great when you can't settle on just 1 or 2, you can try a bunch."

  • "Santiago's Bodega was a perfect place to take my mom and daughter on Mother's Day! The food, service, ambiance, everything was just fabulous! As I sat there listening to the variety of music playing and checking out the crowd and décor, I found myself thinking "oh, I could be here with my sweetheart!" "Oh, I could have a girls night out here!" "Oh, I could have a birthday party here!" "Oh, what a great place to escape for a few glasses of good vino!" You guys are doing it right, can't wait to check out the Key West location!"

  • "Five of us were in attendance for our friend's birthday. We were warmly treated, enjoyed an excellent meal, and to top it all off, our guest of honor was serenaded in a rousing Happy Birthday song sung by Santiago's resident opera singer!! He brought the house down and made the evening so special for our friend. Thank you to Santiago's for making the evening so memorable for us."

  • "This will be my 2nd time here, both for the Sunday brunch. Personallg I find the food delicious and the options are endless. My family ordered off the menu and were also pleasantly surprised but how delicious the food was. It was very busy but the entire staff worked together and made our experience as good as one can have. I will be trying here for my own bachelorette party on a Friday nigh and look forward to the experience. I would highly recommend going here."

  • "Santiagos bodega was very good in terms of food and atmosphere (with the exception of it being pretty loud). I would definitely return and recommend to people in the Orlando area, as it is something a little off the beaten path and a lot more interesting than most downtown type restaurants. I appreciated the fact that, since they were out of a bottle of cava that we ordered, they gave me a more expensive bottle of sparkling wine and charged me the price of the cava. That is a subtle expression on their part, but did not go unnoticed, which I think shows a lot of intelligence in their approach to their customers. That fact alone would have me return."
