"Santa Fe is my favorite upper west side tex mex restaurant.

The food is very good; the chef finds ways to make the normal tex mex fare distinctive. For instance, the guacamole, salsa, and black bean soup are very good. And entree, appetizer, beer, tax, and tip amount to $35, which is very good value. I recommend it."

"I want to like this place. It has a nice look and is clean, friendly and should be a neighborhood favorite. Unfortunately the food falls flat. The guacamole was tasteless and the calimari seemed like it was a package that was just defrosted.
